CATCH CHOCOLATE BAR

Branding
Marketing Campaign (online & offline)
CASE STUDY:

CHALLENGE:
If you have a taste for the Caribbean or recently visited the U.K. then you’ll know the famous chocolate bar brand “Catch.”
Catch is an iconic brand and the flagship product of Charles Chocolate. Although Catch had experienced many years of success it was facing increasing competition in the under 18 demographic and among calorie-conscious Millennials. Catch needed to connect with upcoming generations in the same way it had with earlier generations.
SOLUTION:
C7’s team created a delicious marketing campaign “Let’s Catch.” This campaign was a fully integrated media blitz that included both online and offline touch-points. Our media, messaging, packaging, photography, 3d animations, and other brand assets were swirled together with some snappy social media campaigns like “Catch A Selfie” and other online gamification. This campaign was focused on building some trendy brand awareness and boosting Catch sales across the U.K and Caribbean Islands.
In addition to the hip, fresh campaign, C7’s research revealed the need for Catch to launch a multi-pack mini bar line. These mini-bars were the perfect fit for a student's lunch, snack at work, and a guilt-free fit for calorie-conscious Millenials.
Needless to say, in addition to eating our fill in amazing chocolate treats, C7’s “Let’s Catch” campaign was a sweet success for chocolate lovers everywhere!

A Brand Champion For Women Everywhere
CHALLENGE:
The LPGA, a crown jewel in America’s golfing scene has championed some of the greatest female golfing talents in the world. As part of their mission to empower women everywhere, they approached C7 to build their Women’s Network brand, websites, and mobile app. The challenge was how to pivot their international organization for professional golfers into a brand for all women, centered around the golfing lifestyle.
SOLUTION:
Our team listened closely to the LPGA’s challenges in terms of brand messaging and the digital touchpoints of their target audiences. It was clear that the LPGA’s team of talented writers, partners, and sponsors were more than able to drive great content. Our goal at C7 was to not get in the way of this organic content but to platform it using digital touchpoints.
We worked closely with LPGA executive teams to craft the digital channels that would best fit their audience’s love of golf and life. The visual design needed to compliment the written content and highlight the messaging with digital assets such as video and bold, beautiful images. The color palette needed to be light and hint at the golf lifestyle we were promoting. The end result was a scratch game success for the LPGA and a cheer of thanks from golfing ladies everywhere.

11 Million Bottles of Brand Building “Gooooals!”
CHALLENGE:
Nothing says fun more than big sporting events, lively crowds, and an ice-cold Coca-Cola. In the Caribbean Islands soccer (football) is king and getting all those World Cup fans to connect and engage with a super-brand like Coke, was the task we had to kick. How do we wrap a massive event like the World Cup and consumption of the world’s leading beverage into a campaign dripping in digital data-science? One ice-cold Coke at a time, that’s how.
SOLUTION:
First, we crafted a strategy that would integrate offline beverage consumption and digital engagement into a refreshing campaign. With 11 million bottles of Coke being run, we had our offline platform well defined. Not to mention, we were selling lots of Coca-Cola, so the client would also be very happy.
Next, we gamified the consumption of those 11 million bottles of Coke into a chance to win prizes and share data with us marketers, via the branded website or app. We not only wanted to sell Coca-Cola we wanted to drive those customers to our digital platforms to capture data.
Enter “Kick, View, Win.” Every time someone enjoyed a Coke at a World Cup event across the Caribbean, the customer could look through the label of the empty bottle to see the prize and code on the other side. These codes would then be entered into the branded website or app (in exchange for some simple customer data) and redeemed for prizes.
Customers were also encouraged to social post images of themselves with the Kick, View, Win bottles of Coke using hashtag #kick2Win for more chances to win. Winning could mean more prizes or include being featured on large public view screens during broadcast games of the various regional soccer teams. Now, who doesn’t love to see themselves on the big screen!
On the back-end, C7’s marketing teams would capture customer data and integrate it into “after-event” marketing and promotions. We would also, securely use this data to learn more about customers, where clusters of customers lived, and what types of events, they enjoyed… and much more.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Face-melting Shoes
CHALLENGE:
Legendary guitarist, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, fashion icon. Carlos Santana wears many hats, literary and figuratively. But when it came to branding his new line of face-melting shoes, he needed help.
SOLUTION:
First, we created a visual identity that captured the essence of the Santana signature look. We then crafted a brand strategy that would pull that styling through all of his online and offline touch-points. The goal was to create a unified brand experience.
Next, we created an e-commerce website that optimized the user experience while still being true to Carlos’ face-melting style. We then captured that same spirit in the design of his shoe packaging, creating a package that’s all business on the outside and all party-like-rock-star on the inside. Lastly, we used photo shoots, video shoots and social media content to bring the brand’s motto to life: “Every step in your life can lead to inner freedom.”

Oh, Snap! $270 Million Capital Investment
CHALLENGE:
Mainsail Capital, LLC used to help commercial home builders fund, build and manage their construction projects like their competitors: through an old-school, analog process. But they wanted to completely rebrand and retool their company, and be the first in their industry to use web application to automate this process and digitally support their clients. By no means an easy task, but fortunately, we’re fluent in digital and design.
SOLUTION:
We gave Mainsail Capital, LLC a shiny new name-Snap.Build-and designed a snappy logo and website.
We also developed the front-end and back-end software, creating the blueprint for streamlining an analog process to 100% digital.
This allowed Snap.Build to be the only one of their kind to use a web application to help builders fund projects, stay on track and on budget, and even connect them with vendors and automate payments. Groundbreaking work for a groundbreaking vision. And when it was all said and done, Snap.Build acquired a $270 million capital investment. Oh, snap.
CLIENT APPLAUSE
“Tremendous effort by a talented team. We started this journey with great expectations and through diligent effort and long hours we have achieved a significant result. Hats off to the C7 team for an outstanding job on both the branding (I love my Snap.build) and the software piece.”

The Next Level For Athletes
CHALLENGE:
For talented high school athletes across the USA, there is always one huge question that must be answered in order to be successful at the next level. “How will I get noticed by the nations leading athletic programs?” The question is a very real one. You can only imagine the volume of high school athletes that bombard the Gators, Georgia, Florida State or any Division I, II or III college with requests to view their videos or stats. That can be a big problem if you’re one of the many in the pile trying to get a coach’s attention. In the athletic world, being great means nothing if you never get noticed and recruited by those who control the next level of your athletic career path.
SOLUTION:
C7 worked with the Pro Impact team to plan, build, and deploy an app focused specifically on getting high school athletes the chance to connect and be recruited by the nations leading athletic programs. The Pro Impact team is made up of several active and retired NFL and pro-baseball players. They know the game, the coaches, and the incredible struggle it can take to get “your game” in front of the right people.
The Pro Impact App is a revolution in how the recruiting game is played. It is geared toward solving the problem of connecting the right coaches with the right athletes.
The app is designed in two parts. The first part is the “Athlete Experience.” This experience creates a platform for athletes to strut their stuff. Stats, video, social sharing and SAT scores are all apart of how they can make themselves stand out. In addition, they can monitor what schools have viewed their profiles and how often. They can also schedule key games in a public event calendar so that scouts know what games they should come to and observe the athletes’ performance.
The second part is the “Coaches Experience.” Like a dating app, the coaches can search for specific athlete stats and requirements. Next, they can sort, filter, and find their way thru the listed athletes by swiping left or swiping right. Saving and discarding profiles that match or don’t match their requirements. Once specific candidates are selected the athletic programs can connect with athletes thru social media or direct message within the app. The secret sauce here is that the app works fluidly. Everything is smooth, quick, and intelligent… exactly what you want from a tier 1 app.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of Wink to Science and Art. We promote the health of our oceans by creating custom garments that give back to organizations that support ocean health.
What challenge were you trying to address with C7 Creative?
As I was launching my company, I needed help to create a comprehensive look for my organization. I hired C7 Creative to develop branding materials and website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
At first, they brought me into their office to discuss my concept. A few weeks later, I came back in and they presented me with a logo, business cards, hang tags, and labels.
Then they tackled my website and started building out new pages. As they worked, I provided edits and they responded to my comments. They built several new features as well. For example, some of our garments have small illustrations of sea creatures, but they were difficult to see online. C7 Creative created a feature that highlights the design when users scroll over the garment online.
What is the team composition?
I worked with a lead creative manager, website developer, and graphic designer.
How did you come to work with C7 Creative?
A friend of mine worked with C7 Creative and highly recommended them. It took a few years, but once I was ready to build a website, I didn’t hesitate to call them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $6,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from October–December 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I was very happy with their work. The first logo they designed was spot-on. We didn’t even do another rendition.
I’ve also received a lot of positive feedback on the website. People say that the site is beautiful and it’s easy to navigate. Now I use the website as a talking point when bringing awareness to ocean health.
How did C7 Creative perform from a project management standpoint?
It was a very collaborative process; they were easy to communicate with because they were responsive and worked quickly.
The web development process was lengthy, but they approached the project methodically and were very organized. We used email to communicate and Dropbox to share materials.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was most impressed by their creativity.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there’s anything they should have done differently. My experience was great.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
New clients should study the functionalities of other websites to figure out what they like and see how different features can play into the sales process.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner and design contractor of Kelly Canada Design + Build + Interiors. We’ve been in business since 2000.
What challenge were you trying to address with C7 Creative?
I’d designed my last website with my husband. Although it turned out nice, my intent was to hire a professional this time around to make the process quicker, easier, and less stressful.
What was the scope of their involvement?
C7 Creative developed my company’s website from scratch. We started by going over our goals and initial ideas on the visuals. Being an interior designer, I understood that how a site worked was just as important as how it looked. Obviously, I wanted a nice, clean site, but it also needed to be easy to use on mobile devices.
Some of the key features I asked for included a slider on images that allowed people to toggle back and forth between the before and after pictures. That was a great feature that they were able to bring in while still keeping the whole site streamlined and simple.
What is the team composition?
I enjoyed that the team was only two people: Calvin (Lead Digital Specialist) and Rez (Web Team Leader) who was our main designer. Having the same points of contact meant that I didn’t have to repeat myself over and over again to a new person each time. Typically both were on our email chains, so it was a simple communication process.
How did you come to work with C7 Creative?
I did some research, narrowed my list down to 3–4 companies, and interviewed them for a cost estimate. C7 Creative wasn’t the least expensive, but they weren’t the most either. I’m a true believer in “you get what you pay for,” so we met in the middle.
How much have you invested with them?
It was around $6,500, which was a fair rate. That included a small section that we wanted to put pictures on and small changes over time. In January 2021, we’ll have a tape session that will show us how to make those changes ourselves.
What is the status of this engagement?
They worked on our project from September¬–November 2020. The process took a total of about two months, which was about what both sides anticipated.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s too early to speak to any results, but I was very satisfied with their entire process, from their professionalism to the services rendered. Websites can get a little bit hectic, especially when you’re building for mobile. So, I appreciate how C7 Creative brought together a lot of the aspects that we’d requested from the beginning while keeping the design clean.
How did C7 Creative perform from a project management standpoint?
The project management was top-notch. I had no issues with communication nor productivity, and they responded to me on time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
From one professional to another, communication is probably the most important thing to me. You want to know that the other person understands what you’re requesting so that it’s done in a precise way.
C7 Creative was extremely professional in their response times. They communicated about each aspect of the project, and the team followed up with us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
This is such a creative process. It’d be impossible for them to foresee everything that I’d envisioned for the site before I knew it, but they’d done a great job. Even when they didn’t have a certain direction on what I was looking for, I could always give them an idea or some examples. They’d then come back with exactly what I was trying to convey.
C7 Creative understood that they weren’t going to get things 100% of the time at the onset; rather, sometimes you have to keep working on things before getting at what the client wants.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You are as much a part of the creative process as C7 Creative is. You still have to provide pictures, copy in your own words, and thoughts if you want the final product to end up a success.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a biotechnology company working in the food industry. Our business is bacteria and technology that affects food. We develop technology that allows food companies to manage bacteria to benefit end consumers.
What challenge were you trying to address with C7 Creative?
We’ve been working with them since the early days of our business. They’ve provided us with many services and resources. Everything from web design, to marketing to lead generation, they’ve managed for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
For our web development and design projects, we’d meet with their team to discuss our vision for the site and listen to their initial creative ideas. They’d often provide guidance about how to design a website in this stage properly. From there, they designed the first version of the site and asked for our feedback. They encouraged us to be ambitious and not shy away from tough requests.
When we were happy with the site, we launched and continued to make improvements over time. At this point, it’s been a few years since we’ve updated the website and much has changed. We’re working together again to update the site and show our audience everything we’ve been doing in recent years.
In the past, they’ve also provided digital marketing and PPC services. Now that we’re known in the market, we’re employing more targeted marketing approaches.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with a number of project managers and designers. They’re also working with remote technical teams in the background. Primarily, I work with project managers and the founder of C7.
How did you come to work with C7 Creative?
They were referred to me by an associate. I met with their founder and was impressed by the work his team was doing. He seemed bright, hardworking, and committed to quality work.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend about $20,000 each year.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with them since December 2012.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve continued our engagement with them for many years because they deliver great work. The quality of deliverables is important to us, and they want to produce work that is perfect in my eyes. If it’s not completely perfect the first time, they’ll adjust their work as many times as needed to make it perfect. That usually only requires 2–3 iterations.
How did C7 Creative perform from a project management standpoint?
I’m always amazed at their ability to quickly respond to customer needs. Whenever we call upon them, they’re immediately willing to work on things I need them to do. Their personal communication with me is very strong through text, email, phone calls, and meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their personal commitment to my success has been most impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m thrilled with their team and think they’ve been absolutely fair in conducting business with me. I don’t have any suggestions for improvement for them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Get started with them and stay personally involved with their work so they can be highly committed to the success of your company. If you do that, you have a great organization to work with.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of Ziffy Smiles, which is a dental company. We offer liners that don’t break the bank.
What challenge were you trying to address with C7 Creative?
I needed a partner to create my company’s website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
C7 built my whole website and created our branding, which included the logo. They directed three rounds of edits for the logo. For the website, I provided them with the content and then their team laid it out. When I asked them for specific features on the website such as a picture slideshow, they came through with them.
What is the team composition?
In total, I worked with about three people from C7.
How did you come to work with C7 Creative?
I previously tried to build an application with an offshore team and had a terrible experience. For this project, I decided to stay local. At the time, I lived in Jacksonville, Florida, and looked for agencies in the area. I found C7 and then researched their company.
How much have you invested with them?
I spent a little less than $10,000 on their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started this project in December 2018 and it wrapped up around January 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Their team was great at handling my requests for changes, which ensured that I was happy. I voiced my opinions, and C7 accommodated my requests even if the changes resulted from my not giving them sufficient details. In the end, I was happy with the website and logo.
How did C7 Creative perform from a project management standpoint?
Their team was great. This was my first website development project, and C7 made the process simple.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Any questions I had, I could call or email C7 for help, and they would always reply with an answer. That stands out to me. When trying to reach other agencies that I previously worked with, it would take them a while to reply back.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t have any complaints at this time.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Based on my experience, I would recommend that you have your content ready. One of the issues that I came across involved changes to content, which made the process a little longer.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of The Media Leader. We’re a web development company that operates in both designing websites and graphics for customers.
What challenge were you trying to address with C7 Creative?
We brought them on to handle multiple projects surrounding graphic design, UI, and some web development as well.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They handled several logo designs, complete web page designs, and graphic design. My company took those designs and wrote the code to put them into a website. There were also marketing materials we made different graphic designs for. They were delivered in a print-ready format.
We’ve had several websites where C7 Creative worked as a subcontractor with us. Their team handled the customer from the ground up. They utilized WordPress, which included PHP, the MySQL database, CSS, HTML, and HTML5.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Calvin (Founder) and another team member. They passed on information to those working behind the scenes.
How did you come to work with C7 Creative?
Calvin and I were friends before he founded C7 Creative. However, I ultimately chose them because of their quality of work. I knew I could trust their work; I knew if I handed any project to them that it’d come back at a high quality.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested around $15,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement was from September 2009–January 2017. We worked on a project-to-project basis.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I never had a customer who didn’t like their work. Everyone on our internal team was always pleased with the deliverables. The solutions had good quality. We had great relations with C7 Creative, and they were always willing to help make anything right. If a customer was being picky, they went above and beyond to make them happy.
There was an occurrence when a website went down because of an update. We communicated with C7 Creative, and they were able to get it back up and running.
How did C7 Creative perform from a project management standpoint?
They were good at project management. There was nothing that stuck out as a major issue. They were great with communication and responsiveness. We used Basecamp for project management.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their quality of work is exceptional.
Are there any areas they could improve?
As they were growing, I didn’t know who to talk to when they were adding a lot of business. Someone always got back to me, but there’d be delays because an individual moved to another position or something. Ultimately, they connected the dots and it all worked out well. That was a minor issue, they’re very good at their work.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Know your budget and what you want to do. Make sure to ask a lot of questions and clearly define your goals and bullet points.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of a package forwarding company. We send packages to countries that can’t receive services from the US.
What challenge were you trying to address with C7 Creative?
We hired them for site design services that also incorporated marketing strategies. Our goal was to have it done on a tight schedule.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They were tasked with creating a sales-driven frontend website that included an application we could use to monitor packages. The site was designed to attract customers, connecting clients with services.
We communicated our ideas for the design to Calvin (Founder). He recommended designs that were trending now in the digital space. He started designing the main page, which set the tone for our more content-driven pages. It was an iterative process, allowing him to use some of the content from our existing website.
When we were in the approval process for the first page, we provided feedback and recommended some changes. They had no problem implementing those. We had to redo the entirety of the Spanish end of our site. We handled the copy in-house, but they quickly implemented it into their site design.
What is the team composition?
Calvin was our main point of contact. He forwarded the work and information to his design team.
How did you come to work with C7 Creative?
They have an office in our office building. When I spoke to him about the project, he was very knowledgeable about this subject matter. That gave me confidence that he was headed in the right direction.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $4,500.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from September–October 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve received some positive feedback from customers on the design of the website. It’s encouraging that the look appeals to potential clients. After putting images from the new site on Facebook, we received over 100 likes in about two days.
How did C7 Creative perform from a project management standpoint?
After we provided them with feedback, they implemented it right away. I was very happy with their speed in designing the solution. Calvin always answered right away when we needed him. We agreed on timelines early on, and they met them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was impressed with the product quality and delivery time.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They have a good service, but it would be great to have more recurring touchpoints with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Come to early conversations with information about your project that you can provide upfront. Capturing that information in writing is the way to go. They’ll work with you regardless, but it’s good to start off with that documentation.

Web Design & Development for Fuel Tech Services Company
“The value that C7 Creative brings is worth the investment.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing manager for Guardian Fueling Technologies. We’re a tech company that sells drilling equipment and services to fuel and retail stores. Our team also builds gas stations, offers payment platforms, repairs dispensers, and even services large-capacity tanks to store liquids.
What challenge were you trying to address with C7 Creative?
When I’d started with Guardian Fueling Technologies in November 2018, they’d had a far-outdated website that needed support. We’d already redone the website once but decided to look for another development team that could help us improve our site’s functionality and appearance.
What was the scope of their involvement?
C7 Creative revamped our two main WordPress sites: guardianfueltech.com and getguardianconnect.com. The latter is our remote repair and monitoring service.
After the initial meetings, Calvin (Founder) focused on gaining a better understanding of our industry. He spent a few hours with our corporate team to learn about what we did, who we were as a company, and how we got here.
The next step was to run a brand workshop with our VP and other top members. Having 12 people in the room meant we had 12 different answers, so Calvin’s team focused on homing in on 3–4 of our biggest services. It was about identifying what we were known for the most and putting our successful areas at the forefront of our site.
At this point, they went through a site skeleton and built out the content in conjunction with us. We had to work through our current list of keywords and figure out which ones to target. Then, we created the pages based on the services we wanted to highlight. The first two pages were our primary focus, and the back pages were for our secondary services.
What is the team composition?
There were at least 4–5 team members, including Calvin (Founder) who handled 90% of the communication. What sold us on the relationship was that Calvin was always accessible. He made it clear that he wasn’t doing everything himself and would let us know that he had a designer working on specific items.
How did you come to work with C7 Creative?
We searched on Google for local developers and found Calvin. Afterward, the president of my company and I sat down with him to have an initial discovery talk, going over what we were looking for and clarifying that we wanted a team that could offer suggestions that added to our ideas.
It was a very informal conversation. Calvin had never worked with anyone in our space, so it was about trying to understand our industry. From there, I also looked at their list of clients and was impressed with what they had to say about C7 Creative’s work.
How much have you invested with them?
The bulk of the work was somewhere between $13,000–$15,000. That also included some work on our tradeshow banners and marketing materials, but the majority was for our website.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted between October 2019–March 2020. Our initial goal was to finish by the end of 2019, but we’d launched another division during that time, which caused some delays on our side.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Within two weeks of the website going live, we saw a 7%–10% increase in our traffic along with more sales leads. Some of that could be attributed to COVID-19 forcing people to move online, but the results were positive, overall.
How did C7 Creative perform from a project management standpoint?
The project management was outstanding. Again, Calvin was always accessible, answering calls and responding to emails. If he was in a meeting when he received our message, he’d send a quick note saying that he would follow up with us soon. Even after project completion, he’s been very helpful whenever I’ve had questions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
C7 Creative took the time to understand what we wanted in the context of our industry. I hadn’t had a lot of first-hand experience with companies that did that. Most of the time, developers will have their own idea of what something should look like, so it was good to have someone who was willing to work with us.
They were also very efficient in creating a functional website — not just the copy and design, but also the overall customer service and post-project support. If we had an issue, they would try to understand why and did a good job of fixing things we wanted to be changed.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind. Our leadership was very happy with the results across the board.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You could easily find cheaper companies to work with, but the value that C7 Creative brings is worth the investment.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of operations for DAK Resources, Inc., a disabled veteran-owned staffing and recruiting company.
What challenge were you trying to address with C7 Creative?
We had an existing website, but it was outdated. They completely rebuilt our website and gave it a new look. We also need hosting for our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They redesigned and developed our WordPress website completely. On the admin side, we needed to be able to post jobs and list them on our site, while our users needed to be able to find jobs, apply through our platform, contact us directly, and submit resumes. They hosted our email as well.
They took a lot of text from our website and migrated that data to the new site. They also went through our YouTube channel and founded videos to feature on our new platform. They even took content from other YouTube channels where our platform was highlighted. Since the site launched, they hosted and maintained our site and emails.
What is the team composition?
There were 4–5 people on the team, including Calvin Bryant (Founder), several web specialists, and web designers.
How did you come to work with C7 Creative?
I found them through a web search. I asked 3–4 different companies for a quote and selected C7 Creative. I liked that they were local and were a relatively small business. They were very personal and told me to contact Calvin at any time. They’ve also worked with several well-known and legitimate brand names.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $10,000–$15,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in July 2019 and our partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’ve received a lot of positive feedback from outside sources. They completely refreshed and modernized the website, making it more user-friendly for everyone who interacts with the site.
C7 Creative met all of our benchmarks and exceeded our expectations. They streamlined our processes, which has definitely improved our business and made it more efficient. While there have been a few issues with the website, they’ve been very quick to resolve them.
How did C7 Creative perform from a project management standpoint?
Our primary point of contact was very quick and reliable. If we had any issues, we could reach out to her. Email was the best way to communicate with them, but if there was an urgent issue, we could hop on a call to answer questions.
When they delivered the finished product, we went to their offices and they presented the final product. They answered our questions and made tweaks as needed. They were very hands-on. I never had an issue with management. They delivered on-time and on-budget.
They held my hand through the process and were able to explain to me how everything worked in layman’s terms. We had several meetings in their offices and they trained me on how to use the system. Now I can pull all the information I need.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Communication was their strength; if there was an issue, they picked up the phone immediately. Even if it was the end of the day on a Friday, they would fix it right away instead of waiting until Monday.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t put a finger on a single thing they need to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Dig into their background. If you’re searching for a partner, look at what they’ve done in the past because that will be a good indication of what we need in the future.
C7 Creative’s beautiful and intuitive design has earned positive feedback from many users. They worked closely with the client to implement feedback and create features that would result in a better product. The team was responsive, communicative, and completed the project quickly.
