We needed to create something that is out of the ordinary, but also something that tells their story and gets people to take action and help them. Please describe your company and your position there.
I am in the souvenir industry, in wholesale. I sell accounts ranging from small mom and pop stores to huge corporations. I have been in this business for 20 years.
For what projects/services did your company hire Buzzworthy Studio, and what were your goals?
I've had this idea in my mind for many years that I wanted to open an online souvenir store and use the knowledge that I've learned from my wholesale business and translate it into retail in an online environment. Covid-19 hit and I decided to put my idea into fruition in part due to the ever changing conditions.
Coming from an entire different industry and little experience in e-commerce, my challenge was to find the best team to turn my idea into reality. I hired Buzzworthy Studio to do Web Design, Logo Design, Web Development, and SEO Marketing. My goal of the project was to create a user friendly e-commerce site, that was fun to browse and worked seamlessly, and to drive niche buyers to the site.
How did you select Buzzworthy Studio and what were the deciding factors?
I chose Buzzworthy Studio because they took an immediate interest in my business. They asked many questions and were genuinely interested in learning more about it. Their proposal was clean and well thought out and provided explanations of the entire process. They were very attentive to all my questions and concerns.
I had received quotes and proposals from other agencies that would have cost me less, however I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Its imperative for the long term success of my business that I have an amazing platform that is highly functional and esthetically pleasing so choosing Buzzworthy was a no brainer.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
I had an initial meeting where I explained to them in detail my goals and expectations. They advised that the best route to go would be a custom built Shopify store. The site was meticulously developed which formed an amazing end product. All essential apps were installed prior to transfer.
One of my main objectives was to be able to interact with my customers in real-time. They recommended Intercom which was also installed prior to transfer. This technology is amazing and brings additional added value to the site.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked with the Gary (Managing Director), Darren (Directory of Digital Marketing), and Dave (Account Manager). All three were extremely patient, knowledgeable, and always accessible.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
I saw immediate sales, traffic, and conversions. It is just the beginning and I am looking forward to future.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
We communicated by phone, email, text, video chat. All promises were kept and deadlines met. They were very communicative throughout the entire process from the start date to end date. They were open to suggestions as well as gave excellent suggestions of their own to improve the site. All messages were answered in an extremely timely manner.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I found their eagerness to go above and beyond to make their client happy both unique and impressive. I know I am not their largest client by far but they treated my project as if it was a multi-million dollar project. I appreciate hard work and dedication and this company far exceeds that.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No. I highly recommend this company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Buzzworthy Studio?
Web Design, SEO, and Digital Marketing
What were your goals for this project?
Create a unique shopping experience for our guests that provided an enhanced level of education and utilized visuals to help convey scent.
How did you select this vendor?
I selected Buzzworthy via recommendation.
Describe the project in detail.
To create a custom shopify web design that fills our needs to educate our guest and bring to life our essential oil collection. Since this is a startup we also needed digital marketing and SEO work to set us up for success and drive people to the website.
What was the team composition?
We had two project managers, and then buzzworthy had 3 people working on it with us.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our website has received numerous design awards and garnered us traffic growth +1000% YOY.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow seemed to pace nicely, with both sides working independently, then coming back together for weekly/ bi weekly meetings to discuss progress and next steps.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was very impressed by and appreciative of how the team made anything we asked possible. They were realistic about the time it would take. We had a bunch of requests that were out of scope and they seemed to make it all fit.
Are there any areas for improvement?
To be honest, I have been on a few of these type projects with much larger companies that were a mess. This was by far the most seamless experience working with a web developer and digital marketing agency.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the technical director for The Serhant Team. I research and project manage all strategic implementation of technology and related efforts.
For what projects/services did your company hire Buzzworthy Studio?
We hired BWS to help us build our most ambitious project yet- an online course that we intended to reach millions of people with and also earn millions of dollars in revenue.
What were your goals for this project?
- To hire a world-class design and development studio in helping us bring our course vision to life and become the #1 Real Estate sales course in the US.
- To have a hyper-converting sales page that brought us a ton of platform engagement.
- To hire a developer that would not only perform the work but partner with us on guiding the process.
How did you select this vendor?
We were recommended BWS by another satisfied customer that I've done business with in the past and spoke tremendously highly of Gary and his team. We got lucky, because we were prepared to need to shop around and didn't have to once we saw Gary and Marko's presentation and pitch.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
The project involved building a sales funnel page, connecting it to our e-learning platform of choice, customizing the e-learning platform a whole bunch, helping us connect our email marketing platform to both of those, and providing awesome design of all components.
We also created a members-only Facebook group that they helped us automate a tiered membership purchase workflow that gave certain purchasers access to the features and benefits of their purchased tier which was highly complex but they were able to solve all of it for us.
What was the team composition?
The team composition was BWS' admin leader, their lead designer, their lead developer, and the entire 24/7 support team that works underneath them. Completely seamless, and we always felt guided on all matters as well as listened to carefully for what would make us happy while ensuring project success.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We grossed over $1m in sales in a little over 3 months following the launch of the product. Pretty good I'd say?
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Project management was done in 3 ways - I was the project manager on the client side and was added to Buzzworthy's Slack, given direct access to the project channel and direct communication to admin lead, design lead, and development lead. We also collaborated in Google Docs that allowed for group feedback.
Lastly, Buzzworthy would provide iteration previews via Invision Studio which allowed us to interact with prototype designs and comment directly on the prototypes while also marking completed changes as finished. It was remarkably efficient, and we barely needed to send any emails back and forth at all.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Vision, expertise, professionalism, responsiveness, pedigree, and inspired contributions to the project via their recommendations and guidance.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Gary could shave his head into a mohawk maybe, that could make the video conferences more entertaining perhaps, but other than that, no - I firmly believe that Buzzworthy truly checks all the boxes, hits all of the marks, has its you-know-what together, and I enjoy working with them again and again as we make improvements to our online course and membership experiences.
I love working with them so much that I was willing to fill out this questionnaire despite me being regarded as an impossibly busy person, so that's gotta come off as them being very special!

Web Design for Strategy Agency

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the founder of a boutique brand strategy agency.
For what projects/services did your company hire Buzzworthy Studio?
I hired Buzzworthy to build our website.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to give prospective clients and prospective employees a place to learn about what we do. The site needed to reflect a tension - we are creative and work with culture-leading clients so the site needed to look 'cool' and relevant and current; but we also work with huge corporate clients who needed to see a site that looks slick and professional.
The goal was to make it credible but still cool and not overly corporate. Further complicating things was that we're a strategy agency that doesn't produce creative materials, so we don't have work to show. That meant it was really important for the Buzzworthy design team to figure out something clever for the landing page that wasn't based on our work (since we can't show it) or on stock photography (since it's awful).
How did you select this vendor?
We presented our challenges and they seemed to embrace it and had some clever ideas right off the bat. Furthermore, for our budget, they were by far the most professional team we met with. I wanted to know we had a real team with all that comes with it (account management, tech support), instead of an individual creating our site and using 3rd party contractors to help. Buzzworthy was able to offer us that.
Describe the project in detail.
I don't remember all the details now, but it seemed like a straightforward design process with plenty of check-ins and room for feedback.
What was the team composition?
A consistent project manager, with support from the right people (design, development) when needed.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Lots and lots of compliments on our website!
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Great - easy communication, very responsive.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They're very professional, even when working with a client with a limited budget.
Are there any areas for improvement?
They could have been a tad more proactive in communicating delays. We had a few and that's fine and to be expected, but a couple times I had to nudge them to get more info.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the co-founder of a healthcare company that diagnoses, tests, and treats patients for sleep apnea and snoring. We provide a virtual diagnosis and treatment without having to visit the doctor's office.
For what projects/services did your company hire Buzzworthy Studio?
We hired Buzzworthy to create our brand and brand guidelines, to design our website, and to fully develop our website.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal was to develop a brand that would resonate with consumers and also to build and launch our website in conjunction with our service.
How did you select this vendor?
We searched online and held meetings with multiple agencies, as well as asked for proposals from them. We took a look at the previous work of all agencies and decided who's vision aligned with us the best. Buzzworthy provided the best work, within our budget, and on the timeline we wanted.
Describe the project in detail.
We held a series of meetings to really delve into our brand, market, and product. The team was able to visit our office physically in NYC and spend time with patients face-to-face. This helped tremendously in creating three different mockups, from which we chose our logo and design. We then had multiple different webpage options to choose from as well.
What was the team composition?
The team was robust. We had a great designer, multiple development engineers, a project manager, and the head of the company on calls or in correspondence with us regularly. We eventually also had a growth marketing lead once we had launched.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We saw great feedback from our brand and our website. When we launched we were indexing very strongly thanks to the content we had on our page, as suggested from the growth marketing lead at Buzzworthy. We were able to book hundreds of sleep test orders thanks for the easy flow of the website.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was great and the easiest part. We communicated seamlessly with the design team and had standing calls every week. During times when we had to get something done on a deadline the team was able to complete it with no hiccups.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The dedication of the team members, especially the design, development, and marketing members. They understood what we wanted and then worked hard to bring that to reality.
Are there any areas for improvement?
A shorter development period for the website would have been great, but in the end we ended up with a quality product that helped us much more. We appreciate the hard work and time it took to get there.

Our teams met and developed a plan that suited our goals and budget. Buzzworthy Studio designed our landing page and started driving traffic to it. They did SEO work, ran ads on social media and Google, and scheduled monthly calls to discuss the results. Over time, they made changes and suggestions to improve our results.

I’m the director of product marketing for ClarionDoor. We provide cloud-native software solutions to the insurance industry. I’m responsible for the branding, marketing strategy, and vision for our products.
For what projects/services did your company hire Buzzworthy Studio?
Our company had been using the same website design since it started in 2010, so we required a fresh look to match our branding initiatives. We also needed them to redesign the site to enhance the overall user experience.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted our site to provide a more modern experience to set ourselves apart from our competition. Overall, our goal was to stand out in the crowded market and have our site represent how different we are.
How did you select this vendor?
After researching several options, we were immediately impressed with Buzzworthy Studio’s portfolio. They demonstrated they could bring a fresh perspective to site design and create an interactive user experience.
Describe the project in detail.
We kicked off the project with a series of discovery and brainstorming sessions. Buzzworthy Studio took the time to understand what our company is, what our objectives were, and the message we wanted to convey. After getting to know us, their team began evaluating our competitors and started the design process. There were opportunities for us to provide feedback along the way, and they would respond to the tweaks we wanted to make. They created the interactive designs and showed us how the live site would operate. After we launched it, they were available to answer questions and make changes to the site.
What was the team composition?
We had the most contact with our dedicated project manager and lead designer from Buzzworthy Studio. There was a whole team working behind them, especially during the launch, but we didn’t communicate directly with them as frequently.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The site was launched in coordination with our other marketing campaigns, which allowed us to participate in a major industry conference. We were able to include the redesigned site at this event where we announced our new product line, so the timing couldn’t have been better.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Communication takes the effort of both parties, and Buzzworthy Studio was very responsive.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their dedication to understanding our business and translating that into a unique design was exceptional. We valued their responsiveness, especially when the site went live.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We could have benefitted from more initiative on their end when we struggled to identify our needs. Though we gained a better understanding of our business, it could have been helpful for their team to step in and give us some direction. There also could have been more quality checks before going live to avoid some issues.
