AlligatorVM
AlligatorVM implements fast native execution engine which runs directly on device without Java VM. ALVM implementation has many antidebugging checks and self-protection so it’s hard to debug. Virtual code is loaded by native engine from encrypted storage and virtual CPU is created for code interpretation. A call to ALVM method is a blackbox which accepts input and returns output parameters.
Algorithmic Trader
Algorithmic trading is a platform for financial strategies approval and data analysis for financial institutions. The software contains several technologies for data analysis (R language, Java financial libraries) and event processing system (Esper). Graphical interface has R console, R scripting window, Esper event output and dynamic rule creation, different plots of acquired and processed data.
The system allows to automatically sell or buy bids based on event processing rules. History analysis allows to test strategies on historical data. The main difference of the system is the ability to dynamically change the bid logic based on the real-time events on the stock exchange marked.
It was successfully integrated at stock exachange analysis company, Zürich Switzerland.
C++ Graph Source Protection
Universal binary obfuscation on the source level. Project allows to protect any software with C++ language for any platform, because the protected output is still valid C++ code.
Each source code line is converted into graph node and can be placed anywhere in the source code independently. Graph add several fake nodes and different transitions. Valid source code lines are mixed in random order. Resulting output is almost not possible to analyze in decompilers like IDA Pro.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of Confectionary Factory Sweet World, a confectionary production company in Ukraine.
What challenge were you trying to address with Bruno Development?
We decided to create our first digital product and needed help.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Bruno Development developed a platform that gives recommendations for restaurants and places of interest. The platform includes a website, CMS, and mobile app system for payment processes. They’re still currently working on the mobile apps. It’s for active people who are walking around places of interest. Since lockdown, they can’t do it. We’re waiting to finish those processes.

There’s a project manager, two full-stack developers, and a designer.

How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $130,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2019, and the project is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They took our idea and brought it to life. We haven’t launched yet and are waiting for the finalization of the mobile apps. Their team has shown unique skills in bringing complex projects to life. We’re satisfied with the results so far. They created such a complex project in an acceptable budget and on time.
How did Bruno Development perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is good. They set deadlines and follow them. We worked out several issues during the development. Our teams used Skype a few times a week. Sometimes, I participated in the meetings but our marketing director communicated with them mostly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m really satisfied. Several years ago, we did our website with another company and they didn’t finish the project in time. Bruno Development delivered what they promised.
