I’m the marketing head of ITM Group, a business school group. We offer executive MBA programs for working professionals. It’s a two-year management program who has minimum 2+ years of experience.
What challenge were you trying to address with BROADNECTION?
I needed help with digital marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They help us with digital marketing. They review prospects. We then call the prospects and set up a meeting. Our customers aren’t known easily. We don’t have a specific target market. They supported us in getting the right target audience. They are working professionals and we have limited access for meeting them. BROADNECTION reaches them through digital marketing. They’re still supporting us.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of IAS Ally, an education tech startup. We provide online education to mobile users for Android and iOS, focusing on one particular civil service exam.
What challenge were you trying to address with BROADNECTION?
We needed a PR and marketing partner for our apps.
What was the scope of their involvement?
BROADNECTION is responsible for our digital marketing efforts. Using Mention, they help connect mainstream media with social media. Though we’ve temporarily halted some aspects of our collaboration due to COVID-19, we’re still in discussions with the team, creating a targeted media plan.
What is the team composition?
We work with four people from BROADNECTION.
How did you come to work with BROADNECTION?
After conducting a virtual search for a PR partner, we connected with about four or five companies. We considered factors like their approach, their pitch, and how well they understood our company and concept. Ultimately, we felt BROADNECTION was the right partner for us.

We’ve spent less than $5,000 on their services so far.

We started working together in July 2018 and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
BROADNECTION’s work has been very beneficial to our company. Whenever the team publishes in a major national newspaper for us, we see an average of 5,000–10,000 downloads. There have been days when our app trends as the most downloaded app of the day. Our company has been able to maintain momentum because of their PR efforts.
How did BROADNECTION perform from a project management standpoint?
They work really hard to pitch our stories to the media. BROADNECTION gives good advice to our marketing team, with tips on how to present our product. We’re really happy with their partnership.
What did you find most impressive about them?
BROADNECTION truly understands us. They get our product, and they get the kind of newspapers we pitch. Sometimes we’re working with materials in multiple languages, but the team knows how to alter their pitches and story based on the publication’s identity and language. It’s really helped us to launch our project well.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could improve their technology skills, such as with backlinks. Also, they’re a bit understaffed.
