A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder & CEO of Rewardly, a cash back and rewards app.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrewingStack Technologies?
We have B2B and B2C partners, and we needed help with web and app designs.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had a call to go over what we do, how we help businesses or users, what our B2B side is, and what our B2C side is. They tailored their designs and approach accordingly.
Depending on our target market, they want it to look serious or make it look funny. We tailored down the things that B2C and B2B can do, and the features and benefits of the features. The team then created an initial draft of that.
After going over the draft, they allowed us to make any changes and gave us two revisions. We started with website design, and then they changed it and updated it twice. Once that was final, we went to the user app designs. It went through the same process of us writing down the features we wanted to see, how they would interact, and their benefits. They also provided their creative suggestions.
There’s one feature on our platform that allows payments through QR codes, which was unique. After we presented them with the payment options, they upgraded that and advised us. They also suggested another way of doing something similar that would make it easier for B2B partners to cater to our B2C partners.
There are three screens on our app, 18–20 screens on our websites.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was Manasi (Founder).
How did you come to work with BrewingStack Technologies?
We met at a startup meetup in downtown Toronto. We got in touch with them and a few other companies that we took business cards from.
After reaching out to each one of them, we felt the most comfortable with BrewingStack Technologies. They adjusted their price, stating that they were comfortable with two payments instead of one. They also understood our requirements, tailoring their approach.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested $1,500.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from March–June 2020. The entire process took a month and a half to two months.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They were always early in submitting their designs and suggestions. We even sent the designs to our friends, family, and partners. All feedback was great. People love the design and say it’s nice, simple, catchy, and unique.
How did BrewingStack Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication was mainly through WhatsApp. We would have a conference call with the co-founder whenever needed or once a week to make sure we were on the same page.
They took enough time to understand. We had a call for over two hours to go over the QR code designs and discuss the easiest way to develop them. They were fairly quick.
If I gave them changes today, it’d be done by the next day. If not, they send back feedback. They were very communicative, and it was easy to work with them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their designs are impressive. The team takes their time to create excellent designs.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they’re really reasonable compared to others, and their designs are top-notch.
Feedback regarding the designs was extremely positive. The team at BrewingStack Technologies delivered unique and simple designs. Their high-level of communication complemented their quick workflow.
