Natinal Archives in Krakow - How we prepared a new information architecture and migrated a broad range of content to a newly designed website
The most challenging part of the project for National Archives in Krakow was migrating all of the content from the old version of the service based on an aged CMS. We prepared new information architecture, updating the menu’s structure and creating a modern, universal yet useful design for the website.
We paid a lot of attention to implementing functionalities which would make browsing through the broad resources of the website easier and more clear for every visitor.
We built an intuitive presentation of visual elements as well as functional navigation, customizing the website for users with disabilities. Users can change the size of the font on the website or set a contrast. On the exhibit and online galleries subpage, we implemented an option of browsing and searching through information based on filters - subject area, location and historical period.
Another convenience is an English version of the site and a search engine placed in the header. Users have access to the content on a computer, tablet as well as a mobile device.
We transferred archival materials and polished the website in terms of visual features - adding photos, graphics and icons. We also introduced a new presentation style of the exhibits and online galleries. A new display of the photo grid was added alongside with the look of each of the exhibits. They were equipped in a simple system of creating photo galleries and filtering the results. The last step of the project was to connect the site with external services such as: Dawne Pismo, Szukaj w Archiwach, Krakowski Rocznik Archiwalny.

Shiazo.com - How we helped to achieve better sales performance and collaboration with international partners
To achieve the best possible sales performance and collaborate with different partners from all over the world, Shiazo company asked us to help them rejuvenate their website’s graphic design. What the company struggled most with was the outdated website design, which was created 10 years earlier. The website needed a refreshment of the aesthetic, an improvement of usability and adjustment to clients’ needs.
The website contains functionalities which make it easy to use, like a pull-out side panel with navigation and language versions, dynamic filters on the product subpage as well as additional effects on the pictures.
There are two language versions available on the website: English and German. The user can easily switch between these languages and the administrator is able to quickly add a translation of any chosen text.
The element which was to be the most highlighted in the new project was the steam-stones’ flavours for shisha. The subpage has been equipped with a filtering system based on a chosen type of flavour. Each product has its picture, a description of the features together with the section showing the intensity of a flavour.
Because of the broad offer of steam-stones’ flavours, Shaizo shares a wide range of marketing materials with its clients and business partners. For that purpose, we created an individual subpage in which private individuals and companies can download product catalogues in three language versions.
To present all of the business partners and easily look them up, we created an interactive map with a list of all the countries.
The previous design of the website also lacked the adaptation to mobile devices. We added this functionality so that a user can now browse the content on the computer, tablet or a mobile device.

How we increased the number of visitors to the opera festival website
The Opera Rara opera festival struggled with the problem of a non-intuitive website. Users left the site very quickly because they couldn't find the information they needed. Our task was to create a new page design and coding.
The festival website has been equipped with an intuitive schedule with filtering options. Individual departments: locations, artists and schedule have been logically linked together so that the user can find the information he needs.
The site has been prepared in two language versions. It also includes facilities for people with disabilities that can change the size of the text and the contrast on the page.
The administrator has full control over the system and can freely change the content and photos throughout the entire site, as well as add new departments and modify them in a simple way. The site is very well optimized and fast.
The new version of the site had a positive impact on the number of users and extended the average time spent on the website.

We have been cooperating with Brave New for a long time. Fast and simple purchasing process is important to our customers. We use many functionalities to operate our store, therefore we wanted all integrations to work also on the new website and then be adapted to the store of our second brand.

The first stage of work was writing down the specifications. The Brave New team has previously worked on our website, so they knew which elements to pay attention to when developing the structure and operation of the new website. Then the website design was prepared with all purchasing steps and the third step was coding the website. Website was adjusted to the mobile version.
After adding the products and launching the website, the website was being tested for about three weeks. We made all the necessary changes and after that time the website template was adapted to the second brand. Also on the second page, all the necessary marketing and ordering tools and online payments have been implemented.

In this case, the most important functionality was the map that shows the location of urban projects in many cities The last stage was the website "New Urban Pact" where we needed help with adding content. The first step of the project was to prepare UX mockups, on which we planned all the elements of the website, to make the use of the website as intuitive as possible. Then we prepared graphic designs in the mobile and desktop versions - we wanted the website to be minimalist and at the same time contain all the important information about the language courses. We put great emphasis on providing various contact options.
We wanted a contact form, that will provide us with as much information as possible about the needs of the students from the very beginning in order to adapt the offer to the individual needs of customers. The form has been placed in several places so that the user can write from anywhere on the page. Additionally, the website has been integrated with the newsletter and we have placed a chat on the website.
Brave New also helped integrate the website with analytical tools. At the end the website has been tested, installed on the server and we received tips and help on how to manage the website.

The Galicia Jewish Museum exists to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust and celebrate the Jewish culture of Polish Galicia, presenting Jewish history from a new perspective. This year we decided to focus more on the valuable content for our contact lenses and lens care solutions users. It is specific category, because consumers have to be well educated about the products, aware of the health of the eyes and obey safety rules of wearing lenses. We hired Brave New to create and develop a new, user-friendly website and embedded it on current loyalty program website. Priorities were to organize content in a well-ordered way, provide availability of SEO tools, prepare website for implementation of further functionalities as newsletter, just by adding firewires.

In the next step we got mockups of the website. It allowed us to settle the graphic design idea. Than the programming phase started. Needed modifiactions were implemented promptly. Product was tasted on diverse operational systems and devices. After transfer of final files we were provided with video tutorial about elementary CMS maintenance of the website.

The project was divided into 6 stages (milestones)
- Initial contact. We started off with a business requirements document and had a few iterations of Q&A to refine and clarify requirements.
- Planning After that I got from BraveNew a propositions project schedule (gant matrices). When we agreed the scope of work and timeline we started to work on project.
- Content Our team were working simultaneously with BraveNew (we delivered content – for example copywriting).
- Design Web designers developed a landing page for the website, as well as an inner web page to demonstrate near-precise colour, font-sizes and precise placement of all the navigation and content elements. After that we had the opportunity to provide feedback or request changes. Then designer trwała współpraca continues the process of fine tuning the design until he got our approval.
- Development In this phase, designers created a demo installation, so that we could view and interact with the web pages as they are being developed.
- Launch In this phase, BraveNew’s designers run through a final set of tests to be sure that everything is functional. As soon as the site has been tested, reviewed and approved by us we launched the website for the viewing public. The project is now still on going. We decided to start permanent cooperation which allows us to develop the website and implement new ideas.

What we have expected from Brave New is a website that can be easily managed by our in-house marketing team. They developed, configured, and launched a brand new Wordpress website based on the UI design delivered by the design agency. We planned the sprints and release dates for particular parts of the project as it was pretty extensive: there were about 50 pages to be developed and released. Improvements were made after each release. I was in permanent contact with the assigned developer (Robert), who received instructions on how particular elements should work and what level of flexibility we're expecting. In the end, he produced for us pre-recorded materials and instructions that included essential knowledge about the website.
What was the team composition?
The project team had about 6 people, but certain individuals would come and go depending on the skills needed. I took the role of a project manager on our side, we collaborated mainly with a developer from Brave New who was solely responsible for developing our website. He, together with the Brave New project manager, where our two points of contact. The rest of the marketing team supported when needed.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
It is still too early to demonstrate the effects of the newly produced website on our business, but we're glad to have such great results when it comes to Page Speed (which is a crucial factor for SEO and we expect improvements in this area). What's more, it's much easier for us to make improvements and change pages, sections, and elements, as they are built in a very user-friendly way.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We communicated on Slack, which was very convenient for us (we chose this channel of communication). Communication was ongoing and every question was answered really quickly. We had an impression that our project is a top priority and the Brave New team is engaged and motivated to deliver the promised results.

They have experience working with demanding clients and they are flexible in addressing their needs. It surprised me how communicative and nice was the developer we directly collaborated with. Our product is based on an absorptive carrier material which is soaked with flavoring agents and fog liquids. The carrier is a 100 % natural raw material being anorganic and highly temperature stable. This ensures that the product does not burn or smolder when heated, but only the flavored liquids are evaporated.
At the end the dry carrier material is left and can even be re-used. As no tobacco is involved, our steam stones are by nature free of nicotine and tobacco contaminants. In the project, I was responsible for project coordination and contact with Brave New

We have known each other for several years with the owner of Brave New. The trust built over the years has made it our natural choice. We knew that we wanted to implement the website with Brave New.

In the beginning, we wanted to receive graphic designs in order to be able to assess whether the vision of Brave New met our expectations. Then we counted on the quick implementation of the new website. It was also important for the website to function properly.
We wanted the new page to be replaced when everything was finished and tested. We also counted on post-implementation technical support and CMS training.

In the beginning, I described what I need and gave design guidelines. The design was to be simple but modern. Site built on Wordpress. I chose a design and made some corrections. and so on until the final version of the page. After creating the website, I received a video manual on how to manage it.
