Advertising & Marketing for Furniture Company
"I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — they were good on everything."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an executive at a furniture manufacturing company.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrandLyft?
We needed help to start off with our brand. We didn’t have an online presence in regards to Facebook, SEO, and general web appearance. We wanted to launch our brand as quickly as possible through advertising campaigns to get exposure and engagements to increase our sales.
What was the scope of their involvement?
BrandLyft took over our Facebook and Instagram accounts to provide the whole advertisement and digital marketing. They also handled Google PPC for us; we had a folder on Google Drive where we uploaded images, video, and general content so they could use them for different campaigns.
What is the team composition?
I worked with 3–4 people from their team, including Javier (Project Manager) and someone who managed Google PPC and Facebook Ads for us.
How did you come to work with BrandLyft?
I found them by doing online research for a marketing agency. We chose them because they were local, which is what I was looking for.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $10,000 on this project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from April–July 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our engagement with them greatly impacted getting us off the ground — we started from nothing. They helped us launch with advertising and a developed site that we could use to have a solid start.
How did BrandLyft perform from a project management standpoint?
They were great with that; our CEO wanted solid communication throughout the project, which we had. We used emails and phone calls to reach out to each other. They even helped us in getting developers.to solve any issue with our platforms quickly
What did you find most impressive about them?
They quickly understood what I was looking for.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — they were good on everything.
Any advice for potential customers?
Be persistent, let them know what you want, and be patient; things don’t happen overnight.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and owner of an international real estate and business consulting firm.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrandLyft?
We hired them to support digital marketing, SEO, and advertising.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We tried a number of different things over the course of our engagement. They helped our digital marketing efforts in several different capacities. In addition to SEO, they managed created landing pages for our website, and created an e-book. On top of that, they created ad campaigns for social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Finally, they managed Google Ads.
What is the team composition?
I originally worked with the owner of the company and his partner. I had one point person and they handled everything with other people on the team.
How did you come to work with BrandLyft?
They were recommended to us. We decided to work with them because they were a boutique operation and were very hands-on. We felt like we could easily reach people when we needed them. Their pricing was preferential as well. A lot of the larger companies we spoke to wanted to charge us more and they required long-term commitments. BrandLyft, on the other hand, was much more accommodating.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $7,500 but about half of that went towards our ad campaigns (approximately $3,750 went to BrandLyft).
What is the status of this engagement?
We were together from January–June 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They were able to accomplish great things for our company. However, their efforts didn’t create much business for our company. We didn’t bring on any new clients during that time period. After six months, we decided to stop our marketing efforts and rethink our strategy.
How did BrandLyft perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very responsive, professional, and accessible. They met our deadlines and communicated well. We generally got in touch with them via phone or email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their accessibility, professionalism, and flexibility were great. We appreciated that they worked with us to negotiate our contract.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I think they could improve their SEO efforts. I think they outsourced some of that work and were trying to create backlinks, but their strategy wasn’t executed very well.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
New clients should make sure they have the budget and resources that they need to be successful. If you don’t have the resources they need, there can be a problem.

I own a health and wellness company.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrandLyft?
I wanted to increase my social media presence.
What was the scope of their involvement?
BrandLyft is helping with our social media marketing through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. They’ve designed creatives for me. They’re also doing Facebook Ads for me.
What is the team composition?
I believe we’ve worked with three people.
How did you come to work with BrandLyft?
I found their information on Clutch. I decided that they were a good fit for me because of their size and their focus on working with small businesses. I spoke to the co-founder on the phone, and I really liked his energy and professionalism. Their budgeting options also appealed to me.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve invested about $1,500.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement with their team started in February 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
BrandLyft took charge, coming up with great ideas for my social media presence. One of their ads reached over 45,000 people. My page likes and post engagement have increased significantly.
Their team is full of great communicators. They’re kind and patient.
How did BrandLyft perform from a project management standpoint?
From a project management standpoint, they perform very well. We primarily communicate through email. In the beginning, we frequently spoke on the phone. If they want to show me something, they share it through Loom.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I feel that BrandLyft is invested in my business’ growth. I appreciate their smaller size because it gives more of that personal touch.
Are there any areas they could improve?
If there were anything to improve, it would encourage them to follow up more often.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be clear about expectations.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of an American Fitness Center in Fayetteville, Georgia. We’re a 24/7 health and fitness center.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrandLyft?
We were struggling with our business marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They listened to what I was looking for and created some mockups for our website. Then they began development.
They’re also supporting SEO, and we plan to have them work on Facebook and Instagram Ads.
What is the team composition?
I speak with the owner and co-founder of BrandLyft regularly.
How did you come to work with BrandLyft?
I was working with another marketing company and another web developer. The website was outdated, slow, and unresponsive, so our marketing company started raising their prices. I searched for website development and SEO companies and came across BrandLyft. They offered to take over everything for me and match my rates.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $400.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in February 2021 and our partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They built a modern website and we’ve completely fallen in love with it. We recently launched it but BrandLyft continues to provide maintenance support.
Ever since we started working with BrandLyft, our traffic has increased tremendously. We receive more calls, leads, and requests for directions.
How did BrandLyft perform from a project management standpoint?
They were excellent. They reached out whenever we had questions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of the product. With this website upgrade, they’ve completely changed how we do business and interact with customers.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, everything was excellent.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Let them handle the process because they’re professional and great at what they do.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a nonprofit art center that has art galleries, plays, concerts, classes, and camps for children. I’m the program coordinator, so I help with the website and publicity as well as planning some of our events.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrandLyft?
They helped develop a new website for us. We have a staff of three people, so we needed something that would be easy to maintain for a small group while being up to date.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve been our partner in creating a new website for us. The site was built in WordPress and kept pretty simple. Additionally, they’ve helped us conduct virtual auctions. This is the first year we’ve handled our fundraisers virtually. Their team helped us move these events online so we could still host profitable fundraisers.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 2–3 people.
How did you come to work with BrandLyft?
Their team was recommended to us by someone who had worked with them in the past.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $2,500 over the past few years of working with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with them since October 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Their team helped our fundraisers earn just as much if not more money online than they did during in-person events. That’s been very successful.
How did BrandLyft perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re great to work with. It wasn’t an easy task getting our fundraisers online, and their team had to execute some creative workarounds to make it work. They were always right by our side to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. We email back and forth to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Despite our tight budget, they’re always able to work with us to meet our goals.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything. They’ve been great.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Come to the table with ideas and information. They’re knowledgeable, so I’d recommend listening to their suggestions as well.

WordPress Design & Google Ads Services for Printing Company
“BrandLyft is great about getting you involved in the process so that you’re well-trained and knowledgeable.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a manager at Appalacia Printing. We’re a small print shop that does ads and apparel, printing shirts for businesses that want to get their name out there on a small scale.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrandLyft?
I was having a hard time converting customers through my site, so I reached out to BrandLyft through a mutual contact for support.
What was the scope of their involvement?
BrandLyft completely revamped our WordPress site and continues to manage it to generate more business. Currently, their main responsibility is handling our PPC through Google Ads. They’ve steered us in the right direction as far as thinking about where we need to be in our space.
Another challenge we’ve faced is keeping all of our leads and the relevant information around them organized. They’ve set up a nifty software called LeadDragon to solve that. Our whole business is run through that tool, so we’re now able to manage our communications (e.g., emails, text, Messenger) as well as the websites that we’ve built for other companies.
What is the team composition?
I’ve met Shawn (CEO) who is a pleasant guy. Right off the bat, I could tell that he had a lot of knowledge because he was able to pinpoint some of the faults in our site. He knew exactly what to do and listened to us.
How did you come to work with BrandLyft?
A colleague of mine had worked with BrandLyft in the past and recommended them to me. I’m glad that we were able to find them!
How much have you invested with them?
It’s been about $8,000–$10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in May 2019, and they’re still collaborating with us.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’m really happy with what they’ve done for us. Our website looks beautiful nowadays, and we’re converting a ton of leads thanks to their Google Ads work. It didn’t happen overnight, but we could definitely see a great deal of progress during the process. We now move a lot faster than we have before. The team is top-notch, too. I enjoy talking with them because they’re so insightful.
How did BrandLyft perform from a project management standpoint?
I’d rate them a 9.5 out of 10. They’ve been on point.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It’s amazing how BrandLyft has incorporated everyone on my team into LeadDragon, got us trained, and restructured our workflow. I’ve been in management at my company for a decade now, and I’m impressed by what their lead tracking software can do. It’s their bread-and-butter.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t really have any complaints. There was an instance when an email fell through the cracks and a task wasn’t done. But, as soon as they heard about it, they rectified the situation. I’m being nitpicky, though. People get busy, and we’ve done that all the time, so I won’t point fingers.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Ask a lot of questions and don’t be afraid to work with them as opposed to having them work independently. BrandLyft is great about getting you involved in the process so that you’re well-trained and knowledgeable. They won’t make you learn if you don’t want to, so you have to go forward and really pick their brains if you want to grow. They have so much expertise in there.

Web Dev & Content Creation for Textiles Company
“They understand what needs to be done in order to capture growth.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner and president of American Dakota Textiles.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrandLyft?
My company needed a mobile-friendly website built from scratch. We sell area rugs, so it’s a big product being purchased on a small screen. People need to be able to see the color, design, and texture.
We have experience building websites, but I always felt like they were too cookie-cutter and template-driven. We needed somebody that could capture our brand and allow it to be viewed on different platforms.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They quickly built a prototype and made a lot of suggestions. BrandLyft was able to digest everything we gave them.
The website is Shopify-friendly. It also has a seamless social media integration. Users can make purchases on our website through their phone, which they couldn’t in the past.
We’ve used BrandLyft for some other things, like marketing materials. They’ve helped create videos for promotion. They’re a turnkey operation, which I need. It keeps the cost down to outsource these services.
What is the team composition?
They had two people that were both capable and competent to get us what we needed. Javier (Managing Partner) is more of the marketing arm. He was involved with the art center, so he was my point of contact for the website. He’s very good with branding.
I worked with Shawn (CEO) for the videos. He was great about telling us what would resonate with the reviewer. For example, we wanted to create a video to win loyalty, and he let us know that we would want to take a more authentic approach, rather than creating an overly produced, slick video. I appreciated that he was straightforward and really guided us.
How did you come to work with BrandLyft?
I volunteer at the art center in my hometown, and BrandLyft was working on some marketing projects and a website there. I saw how quickly they worked; usually, things at the art center move at a glacial speed, so I was impressed that they quickly delivered a working website that appeased everybody and enabled online ticket purchases.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $5,700.
What is the status of this engagement?
They were on my radar about five months ago, but I hired them around July 2020. We’ve finished the projects, but we plan to use them again for content creation. They have a lot to offer.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The website they helped us with is a retail entity, and we were able to capture orders within two weeks of launching the site. Normally, you don’t show up on anybody’s radar for eight months or so, so the fact that we’ve received orders right out of the gate without much exposure is a good sign to us.
They produced two content posts for us. They advised that we boost one of the posts for $100, and we reached about 10,000 people. My company’s board was very pleased that for $100, we did 10X what we were doing on a normal post. BrandLyft made recommendations; they’re the experts. They let us know what they thought we should do, explaining it was cost-effective and that we’d get a lot of mileage out of it. If I had to put metrics to what we paid for, we’re very happy. The aesthetic of their work is also very high-caliber. They did a really good job of understanding our brand and presenting high-quality images. As a designer, I appreciated that.
When I’ve hired someone to build a website in the past, I’ve felt like I’m doing the website myself because I’m answering so many questions or having to make a lot of decisions. They did their homework on our company; we had enough content out there that they got a pulse on what we’re trying to say and who we are. That took a lot of the work off of me, which I appreciated because I’m trying to run and grow the business. They did a better job branding us than what we provided them. The platform they suggested works a lot faster and better than the other three websites we’d done in the past.
How did BrandLyft perform from a project management standpoint?
I don’t give recommendations very much because it reflects on me as a person, but BrandLyft would probably get my highest recommendation of anybody I’ve ever used because of their communication. I think they figured out how they could communicate with us in the quickest and least intrusive way, which allowed them to work faster.
They had the idea to produce a blog post as a promo piece. Rather than waiting for me to find the time to do it, they took the initiative and posed some very targeted questions to me, such as when and why I started the business. Because they set all of that up for me, I was able to get it done.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They didn’t talk over our heads, and they were very approachable. As a mid-sized company that’s growing, I have to compete with a lot of bigger companies. I couldn’t go to a big firm and be pitched on slick packages. I felt like BrandLyft heard me and presented their work in digestible pieces. They saw us all the way through in producing content that would impress potential customers. They also educated us so that we had realistic expectations and goals.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have many negatives about them. I was so impressed with BrandLyft that I wanted to take time out of my day to leave them a review. I don’t do this often, but they earned it.
Any advice for potential customers?
If I were talking to a new customer and recommending BrandLyft, I’d say to listen to their suggestions. They’re not just trying to sell something. They understand what needs to be done in order to capture growth. They’re ethical and have proven themselves.
If BrandLyft makes a suggestion, it’s probably what you should do — they know what they’re talking about. For example, Javier worked on setting up the way orders would come in. He asked if he should bypass our order person and just go straight into our program, which I didn’t even know was possible. They had a conduit that would communicate with the hardware, so we’d get the orders into the machine a day faster, and we wouldn’t have to pay somebody to enter orders. A company that saves us time and money is the type of company I want to work with.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and managing director of The Ella’s Closet.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrandLyft?
BrandLyft helped with my brand image and online presence.
What was the scope of their involvement?
BrandLyft developed my company’s website from A–Z. Their team helped with content and integrated chat as well as appointment functions. They created a calendar so people can reserve a spot or schedule a phone call with me. Their team made the platform compatible with all devices and rebranded the entire image including the color scheme. They also provided an online marketing presence and offered digital marketing including social media marketing.
What is the team composition?
The main point of contact was Shawn (CEO, BrandLyft) and another developer was in contact with me.
How did you come to work with BrandLyft?
The company pitched the project. When companies pitch, they usually just send an email. Shawn offered a free phone consultation and understood what I wanted exactly. He offered his solutions during the call, so we agreed to the engagement right away.
How much have you invested with them?
The website cost between $700–$1,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the project in November, and it took a maximum of a week to complete.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They understood my industry as well as how I wanted to represent my brand, which meant their team got the concept right away. BrandLyft’s design was clean and neat, so the website’s comfortable to the eye. They were awesome and I would work with them again.
How did BrandLyft perform from a project management standpoint?
BrandLyft communicated clearly and replied quickly. Their team didn’t have a problem going back and forth to change details. They performed perfectly well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
BrandyLyft was talented and creative. Their speed is their number one quality; they responded in minutes not a couple of hours.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they were perfect. I would even recommend them to my friends.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They’re affordable and won’t waste your time.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I own a small massage therapy company, and I’m the owner and only employee.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrandLyft?
I needed a website and some marketing tips to help get my company to the next stage.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They built a website for me and then gave me a jumping-off point for reaching out to people and keeping my name in their minds. They basically provided a how-to on everything digital, whether it was email, Instagram, Facebook or anything.
I provided them with information on what I wanted the website to say and some general instructions. I didn’t need any specific features, so I was looking for something that was clean and very easy to use.
What is the team composition?
I only spoke with Shawn (Marketing Consultant, BrandLyft) and one other employee.
How did you come to work with BrandLyft?
I found them on google and decided to work with them because they were local to the area. It was really nice to be able to have person-to-person interactions.
How much have you invested with them?
I think the total cost was $750.
What is the status of this engagement?
We were able to complete the entire project within about a week in October 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The website is up, which has been the biggest impact by far. I don’t have any analytics on it yet but I’m very satisfied with the quality of their work.
How did BrandLyft perform from a project management standpoint?
They really delivered exactly what I asked for and were able to complete it extremely quickly. BrandLyft listened to what I wanted and gave me great advice in our in-person meetings. They’re staying in contact to make sure everything continues to operate well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
A lot of marketing people I’ve contacted in the past have been kind of flaky, and don’t necessarily give you as much attention when you’re a one-person business, but they took me very seriously and I really appreciated that.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Honestly, I have no complaints about their services.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be upfront about what you want. They’ll take care of everything else.
