Atek is a team of innovators working to improve public health through technology. Working closely with Quebec-based research institutes and laboratories, they create smart solutions to monitor, trace, and protect the integrity of samples.
Atek’s services began to gain notoriety, and they saw a growth in reputation and client base. Groupe Conseil Levee, an established presence in the financial securities industry, had outgrown its original brand identity. The company now stood for more than just reliable advice. With expanded goals, capabilities and client portfolios, Levee turned to Brandlucent for a revamped brand strategy. Together, we uncovered Levee’s updated brand elements—client confidence, adaptability and forward planning—and carved out their new brand identity. To create a full brand experience for Levee’s clients, we refined their service lines and focused their messaging. A name change (Levee Future Planning) and new tagline (“Your confidence, secured.”) embodied their vision, key strengths and differentiators. Featuring greens, golds and bold geometry, a refreshed logo expressed agility and forward movement as well as trust, strength and depth of experience. With an authentic, unified brand identity, they have set aim to capture new markets and opportunities.

CWB Beverages for Chez Tousignant
A mouth-watering fixture in Montreal’s Little Italy, Chez Tousignant delivers chef-driven fast food with classic Québécois flare. Their suppliers, CWB Beverages, were helping them launch a line of artisan sodas that reflected the heritage styling of the Chez Tousignant brand. Partnering with a talented illustrator, Brandlucent developed a visual brand strategy influenced by pattern, hand-drawn design, art nouveau, clean typography and Wes Anderson colour palettes. The label design, a mix of rustic and refined, vintage and modern, expressed a sense of surprise, joy and anticipation. The centrepiece featured tantalising pencil sketches of each primary ingredient. With a unified visual strategy for their new product line, Chez Tousignant is able to provide an immersive brand experience for patrons.

Operating on the cutting-edge of data integration, RIBA attracted major retail clients such as New Balance, Roots and DKNY. However, they also faced a branding challenge: In such a complex, fast-paced industry, how do you make your brand personal and accessible? RIBA turned to Brandlucent. Our Brand Strategy Program brought clarity, focus and simplicity to their brand messaging. We helped RIBA identify their main brand differentiator and better position their unique method of data integration. Our service refinement fully captured the scale and depth of their offerings. An updated logo featured clean, modern lines and colours to reflect their pioneering role in the technology sector. A name refresh and sleek new website later, RIBA is now thriving on all fronts, their brand finally aligning with their vision.

Brandlucent is a current tenant at Fabrik8 and we've develop a relationship troughout the years she been with us. The professionalism and experience Karen has demonstrate made the decision clear that we had to work we her and her team to propel our brand.

We've work with Karen, CEO of Brandlucent.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We feel confident about our new branding and visual identity. We've started to use all the tools they've given us in our marketing, sales and with our human resources and we can already feel that people adhere to this new positionning and relate to it.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very effective. Productive meetings ( Karen is very focus and showed a great and precise comprehension of our business and where we want to bing it). Very effective during the meetings, emails exchange, fast delivery of the work and updates.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was impressed by how quickly Karen understowad a business that is very different from hers. Very effective and professionnal. I also liked the confidence when we were challenging some of her proposition.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not that I can think of.
