What challenge were you trying to address with Brain Technosys?

We needed technical resources to help us do our work.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They do custom web development for us in .NET and SQL. They provide a la carte resources, so we have some control over their team.

What is the team composition?

At peak, we had a team of four. We've completed the larger project, and we currently work with a team of two. Since we manage the project on our side, we don't use their PM options.

How did you come to work with Brain Technosys?

We found them on Guru, but I can't remember the exact process we used to hire them.

What is the status of this engagement?

I believe we started working together in 2016. The collaboration is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality is very good. We had a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, and our lead engineer worked with them to meet our standards. We encountered very few challenges, and their dependability and reliability were always excellent. They keep a good hold on their resources, and they accommodate us whenever we need more bandwidth.

How did Brain Technosys perform from a project management standpoint?

They're very professional, and they offer a high level of service. We manage the project on our side, but their developers are very strong. They work around holidays, and their communication is very good via email, Skype, or phone. Their work is excellent, and they're always available to answer our questions. There are no gaps, and the relationship is very successful.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They've never taken the relationship for granted, and they're just as professional, communicative, and available as they were at the beginning. We've seen no degradation of their quality, and they are incredibly ethical. They take their business seriously, and I can only say good things about them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything negative to say about them. Our engagement is very good. If I had to give them any advice, they could expand their horizontal capabilities and resources. If they broaden their expertise, that could only serve them better.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to dedicate energy to communication. If you do that, everything else will fall into place. Give them time to prove themselves, and they won't let you down.

We hired Brain Technosys to create our mobile app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brain Technosys created our Android and iOS mobile app. We gave them a detailed, 20-page scope document and they built the product according to our direction and using the drawings we rendered for them. They’re currently working with us on another development project. 

What is the team composition?

We work with their whole team. Originally, three people from my team were involved, but now five people are supporting the efforts. 

How did you come to work with Brain Technosys?

A member of our team, who doesn’t work with us anymore, recommended Brain Technosys, and they’ve been pleasant to work with. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent a little under $10,000 on their services. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them on this app from September 2017–January 2018, but we’re working with them still on another project. 

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

User feedback on the app has been great as far as the look, layout, and images. The engagement has been excellent. 

How did Brain Technosys perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve managed the project well. For the first project, Brain Technosys used the deadlines we gave them in the scope of work. They hit all of our timelines and the delivered work according to the layouts we created. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Brain Technosys’ response time and turnaround time are very impressive. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are sometimes slight communication barriers, but nothing we haven’t been able to overcome. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend working with them. Sometimes, you’ll have to be prepared to rephrase your questions for them to understand, but it isn’t difficult.

I have two businesses, one of which is a clearinghouse for buying and selling work boats and other commercial ships. My website is ship-locator.com, and I’m the owner.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brain Technosys?

I needed to develop a website and then maintain it, which can be another full-time job. We didn’t have the skillsets, so I reached out to Brain Technosys.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They designed, managed, and put up the web site from scratch. That includes choosing the layout and color scheme all the way down to the little maintenance tasks like renewing SSL certificates, making changes and upgrades, and managing the payment process. It’s a dynamic site, so it requires quite a bit of work.

The site itself links to a lot of different marine resources, like the Port State Control, Lloyd’s List, and other sea news and tips. There’s also credit card verification set up through authorized.net and verified by the Better Business Bureau. It was written using Ajax, mostly in HTML and JavaScript.

What is the team composition?

I always work with Shri (Director, Brain Technosys), but I’m sure there are more people working on the project, I’m just not sure about the composition there.

How did you come to work with Brain Technosys?

My son is a senior marketing manager with a tech company, and he found Brain Technosys and recommended I go with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve been working with them for a long time, so I would guess we’ve spent about $20,000 in total by now.

What is the status of this engagement?

I’ve been working with Brain Technosys since December 2008.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I don’t have a lot of statistics to show, but my website is up and running thanks to them. I’ve never had any problems with it, and that’s a direct credit to their work. I have complete trust in them that my website will continue to do well like it always has under their care.

How did Brain Technosys perform from a project management standpoint?

It’s been a very beneficial, friendly relationship. Their team and I are on a first-name basis, and at this point, they almost seem to be able to read my mind when it comes to what I’ll want to do next. If I ever need something taken care of right away, I can call them, and they will address it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive aspect is the variety of services they offer. They’re a completely one-stop-shop for me, and being able to trust one company to take care of everything from UI/UX design, to migrating service providers, to writing and implementing updates to the site is a significant benefit to my company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

As far as I’m concerned, there isn’t anything they could improve.

Trust their process and you will have a very good experience with these people.

We engaged Brain Technosys to develop proprietary software for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We needed a solution to handle our receivables, billables, legal documents, and other items important to running our practice. Brain Technosys built us a one-stop piece of software that holds all that information. It also hosts a client portal.

Shri (Co-Founder & CEO, Brain Technosys) is my main point of contact. Otherwise, we have five people assigned to this project.

I bid out the job to several different developers, and I liked Brain Technosys’ personality the most.

The project started a few years ago and is ongoing.

We continue to work with Brain Technosys to build new portals and features. They also maintain our website. Their team is trustworthy, professional, responsive, and technologically savvy.

Their project management was excellent. I have no complaints. I’d give them a good recommendation. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Brain Technosys gave me an attractive price and a commitment to work diligently on the project. Their personalities are what drew me into hiring them.

Because Brain Technosys works overseas, our time zone differences mean that our business hours are different. Our communication and tasks have a lag of about a day. I’d recommend that they get people that work during business hours in our time zone. Otherwise, I don't have any negative feedback for them.

Make sure Brain Technosys commits to doing work during the hours when their team is functional.

We are doing continuous delivery with 2-3 weeks in between deliveries.

I generally provide detailed specifications and perform quality assurance on their deliverables. When the product is completed successfully, Brain Technosys handles the product’s promotion.

I don’t know the team composition. I only work with my main contact, who works seamlessly with the rest of the team behind-the-scenes. I’ve never had issues regarding poor service or quality.

Due to my partnership with Brain Technosys, I feel more confident in committing to delivering projects which I would not be able to complete on my own without extra resources.
