Please describe your company and your position there.

I founded Baits with a few friends. It is an app to help small businesses and entrepreneurs promote their original products through digital flyers. I’m responsible for product development and the UX design.

For what projects/services did your company hire BR Solutions Pvt. Ltd?

We identified a gap in the market and developed an idea for an app, but we didn’t have the programming expertise to execute it. We needed a vendor to translate our designs into a working mobile platform.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a high-functioning application with an attractive, clean, and accessible interface that reflected our visions and met our expectations.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched online for developers, and we came across BR Solutions Pvt. Ltd on Upwork. In total, we interviewed about six companies and looked at their prices, expertise, and portfolio of past work. We were impressed with the BR Solutions Pvt. Ltd team’s offerings and the level of excitement they showed in our initial discussions.

Describe the project in detail.

BR Solutions Pvt. Ltd provided app development services primarily, but they also helped us optimize our website and integrate both platforms’ backend systems. We provided their team with a draft of the UX design, a list of features, and a mock-up of the user flow. Based on that information, their team built an Android mobile app that allowed users to share digital flyers promoting their businesses and products. They included several features to support filtering, classifying, ordering, and tagging different flyers.

What was the team composition?

We worked with at least four people at a time. We consistently spoke with a head developer, a project manager, and a supervisor throughout the engagement.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We tested the application, and it was completely bug-free. So far, we’ve received largely positive feedback from users and other colleagues in the industry, which is a good sign. We haven’t invested in promoting the app at this point, so we don’t have many downloads. With that said, I’m happy with the final result in terms of look and functionality.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was very efficient. We communicated consistently throughout the project, and they were always prepared and willing to meet in person or schedule a phone call. If something wasn’t entirely clear, they’d reach out with questions. The team was flexible and cooperative, adjusting their workflow to accommodate any requested changes. All of our interactions were virtual, but we still managed to collaborate seamlessly. Despite being an overseas vendor, the language barrier was never an issue.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was amazed by their skill and customer service. They always followed up with us. We treated them like a partner rather than a team of freelancers. Overall, I’m grateful for the positive experience.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I suggest they start providing weekly or monthly reports so that their clients can track their progress. Additionally, a bit more support in terms of UX design would’ve been beneficial.
