Branding: Candando Hypermarket in Africa
Born was invited to create the identity for Candando, an hypermarket with the ambition to create new standards for the market. With the name "Candando", which means embrace, Born created its identity: strong and engaging, like the embrace the brand gives to its customers, partners and producers.
The signature "Fica Tudo Melhor (It all gets better) " translates the brand's mission to amplify the daily life of Angolan families (through access to new experiences, services and products), transmits optimism and performance as it marks a moment of change in the panorama of the distribution market in Angola and in the life of each one. One year later the brand is already a a love brand.

THE VOICE OF EXPERIENCE - STANDARD BANK
This documentary shows the deep roots of Angola and its ancestral community leaders: the Soba’s.
They lead their communities by using the experience and knowledge passed over generations. It’s an immersion into the heart of a country where traditions blend with the future. A tribute from Standard Bank to the Angolan Sobas.
The idea was to use a powerful content native to Angola to explain to the population the importance of saving. Another objective was to work on connecting Standard Bank, a South African bank, to the population, tradition and culture of Angola. The documentary was accompanied by a digital and outdoor campaign, and was so successful that with little investment it allowed the bank to become one of the most recognized brands in the banking sector in Angola.

Wook Branding: Number 1 Online Retailer in Portugal
Books are often the basis for the development of Content subsequently absorbed by the Entertainment Industry, spectacularized through increasingly developed means of production. Webboom's re-branding project aimed to provide the online bookstore with an innovative language, definitively framing books and their contents in the imaginary and visual references of new generations of readers.
Thus was born the Wook, a surprising brand, in permanent evolution, capable of adapting to the Contents and the Publics of today. A Brand that transported the books to a universe of contents, telling its own story. Besides being one of the main Portuguese online transactional platforms, Wook later extended its distribution to physical stores, located in some of the main national shopping malls. This project was awarded Gold by the Clube de Criativos in 2009, in the Brand category.

The Biggest Brand Content for Brand Continente
6 editions of the largest and most complex Brand Activation made in Portugal - awarded internationally - make the Mega Pic-Nic a powerful tool that works across the Continent's Brand notoriety and positioning objectives.
Born developed the concept from scratch, adapting it to each edition according to the strategic objectives of the Brand.
The project brought all producers and partners of the Continente food retail brand to the centre of Lisbon, putting animals, vegetables and trees on display in the streets of the capital.
The disruption to daily life was so great that the project has occupied the television news broadcasts throughout Europe.
Edition by edition, Born develops the strategic concept of Mega Pic-Nic, defining the respective implications in areas such as Communication, TV Content or the definition of the contents of the Event, working together with the other project partners in the respective implementation.

Redefining the Experience of Live Music Shows
Born was hired by Unitel, one of the largest telecommunications operators in Africa, to redesign the experience of their music festivals.
The goal was to create a show that could be interactive, broadcast multiple content, and be inclusive, allowing all thousands of viewers to have a shared music experience.
Together with its client Born created a stage of 1000 square meters, using a tri-dimensional structure and integrated video mapping with standard show lighting.
The solution allowed to create different environments throughout the festival, to transmit different contents, and above all, to allow people 100 meters away to watch the show as if they were in the front row.
Born designed the stage, was responsible for the production of the animations and the implementation at the festival.

Luandina: Advertising of a new Beer
The beer market is highly competitive in Africa, being populated by international brands and groups. Born designed the launch of Luandina beer, concerned with establishing the credibility of the product and African production on the one hand, and passing on the origin and knowledge of the local culture on the other. The Brand quickly won over millions of fans by dethroning the incumbent brands in notoriety and recognition.

They are in the market while ago and they are very knowledgeable about Angola and the quality of the delivery of the work is much better than the other agencies and consistent. They are very creative and the copyrighting is the best in the market.

Our relationship still growing based on the relationship. We are giving more responsibilities to Born, like digital, etc considering the results of the work done. The scope of Born work is to support the bank strategy internally and externally and materialized on marketing and comms campaigns.

They have an account director, a manager account, and a big team to work on creative pieces.

We have 2 big campaigns that represent the success of this partnership: Sobas campaign Blue heroes campaign Standard Bank song Etc
