Finding the right B2B marketing firm can be a tricky prospect. Larger, traditional marketing firms may do great work, but most focus on consumer brands and do very little B2B branding.
Bop Design understands that in order for a company to grow and acquire new ideal clients, a holistic B2B marketing approach is required. First, a firm needs to start with a solid foundation: compelling B2B branding, an innovative website design and educational marketing materials. Once the foundation is set, an engaging inbound marketing plan helps increase brand recognition and generate leads from content marketing, SEO tactics and social media.
We believe that every B2B company—regardless of its size—deserves cost-effective design and comprehensive marketing solutions. We work specifically with B2B—usually ones with fewer than 250 employees—that are serious about growing. Offering a wide array of branding services, we act as a tactical extension to your internal marketing department helping your firm achieve its marketing objectives.

Website Revamp for B2B Software Company

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the VP of Marketing at TextUs, a growth stage B2B software company that provides text messaging solutions for businesses that want to better engage with their stakeholders.
For what projects/services did your company hire Bop Design, and what were your goals?
We hired Bop to rebuild our website. As the primary source for driving inbound leads, our site is incredibly important in telling our brand story and highlighting product features. Over the years, it had not been re-done since the company started and many different hands had been in the pot. The content was disorganized and the pages lacked consistent structure.
We needed a firm that could not only refresh the look and feel of our website and ultimately, our brand, but also one that could take the hundreds of pages of content we already had and catalog them in a way that both external, visitors and internal admins could navigate easily. With those goals in mind, we hope to see a meaningful increase in direct and organic traffic as a result of improved page hierarchy, lower bounce rates, an engaging resource library and better website speed.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
After searching firms online and by recommendation, we shortlisted 3 finalists. Bop won out for a few reasons: the scope of their previous projects aligned closely to our business needs. We already had a lot of the content and good idea of overall site structure, but needed a refresh of the visuals, organization and brand. They had a great track record doing exactly that for a number of other B2B companies.
They also had a timeline that worked well for us. Several other firms we spoke with had very long timelines that wold have hindered our ability to grow in 2022 while we waited for the new site to be ready. Lastly, they had a great approach to the resource library on the site which was important to us, as we publish a lot of content and it is a major source of driving leads for us. A user friendly, highly organized resource library was a must-have.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We started with a kickoff meeting to understand all the needs of our business as well as meet the project team. From there, we laid out a proposed sitemap and identified which pages would migrate, which would be created from scratch and which would not migrate. Once we settled on the proposed navigation, we moved into 3 homepage concepts that were presented to us and we decided on an overall direction for the layout and aesthetics.
The concept was further extrapolated and presented to us in Adobe XD, where our teams would comment on edits, suggestions, additions and deletions. During the site buildout, we collaborated in a couple different programs (GatherContent for content edits, Bugherd for staging environment edits). The site was ultimately built out in Wordpress in a staging environment and migrated to live when all edits were completed.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
- Project manager as main point of contact.
- Senior Designer for all things design & functionality.
- Content Director for content, SEO.
- Web Development Director for technical and development.
- Creative Principal for account management and strategy.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
While we are still very early post-launch, we have seen an uptick in organic visits and expect bounce rates to improve. Lead generation has not shown any interruption as a result of the launch thus far.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Communication was exceptional throughout the whole process. The project manager, Jess, was very responsive and always laid out timelines, expectations and progress for the duration of the project. I also found the technology used to be very intuitive (Adobe XD, GatherContent and Bugherd) and help move the project along. While these were new tools for me, they were super helpful in facilitating communication, edits, requests and more.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I found the team to be very polished and communicative regarding expectations, scope, and deliverable timelines. The tech used, as mentioned earlier, was extremely helpful in moving things along and wasn't something I expected per se, but always love when companies can leverage tech effectively to be more efficient and productive.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The only area that fell a little short was estimating the overall project timeline from the beginning. We had a pretty extensive list of content to migrate that likely bogged down the project momentum once we got into it and that may not have been super clear in our early discussions. We ended up pushing out the launch by several weeks from the original timeline.

WordPress Web Dev & Design for Innovation Consultancy Firm

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and principal of an innovation consultancy located in Atlanta, Georgia.
What challenge were you trying to address with Bop Design?
We were trying to improve our digital presence so that prospective clients would be able to find us easily. We also wanted to have a better presentation of our identity once customers find us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had an initial conversation with Bop Design and they gave us a survey so that they could learn more about what we were trying to accomplish and determine who we were as a firm and what we were focusing on. We reviewed the project’s timeline, too. They then started working on our WordPress site’s homepage, content, and layout. While they were developing the site from scratch, they incorporated custom images and animation.
Following that, we reviewed all the pages they created and checked if we missed anything. The last part was all about helping us launch the platform.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Bop Design’s head of development, technical team, and project manager. Their technical team was in charge of building the site. We also worked with other individuals along the way that needed specific pieces of information.
How did you come to work with Bop Design?
We found their team on Google.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $25,000–$30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from October 2021–March 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We measured our success through our traffic, and just last week, we saw that our site traffic definitely increased significantly. If that would continue over the course of a month, that would be an indication of Bop Design’s success.
How did Bop Design perform from a project management standpoint?
They were responsive, and they were able to stick to schedules and budgets. We communicated through video conferences and email. We didn’t use any project management tools, but we used a tool to find bugs and other technical issues.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their technical team was very good; they knew how to resolve our issues, and they were able to answer all of our questions. They also helped us think about things that were slightly outside of the scope such as how other programs would connect to the website.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Stay connected with the project manager and make sure that you get the full benefit of all the resources that they have to offer.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the Sr. Manager of Digital Marketing & Marketing Operations at Pyramid Analytics. We provide enterprise software for advanced business intelligence - what we call decision intelligence.
For what projects/services did your company hire Bop Design, and what were your goals?
Our website was built a few years ago on the Sitefinity platform, intended to be managed by the development team. As we continued to grow, it became clear that marketing needed the ability to keep the site updated without tech support. We also wanted to move our site from a private server to a proper cloud hosting environment.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Bop was quick to respond, came to us with a lot of experience, and took the lead on guiding us when it came to the hard decisions. They truly acted as a partner in the whole process, from day one of consideration when I jumped on a call with Jeremey.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had already been running a branding project with another agency, so the idea would be to take that other agency's designs as a foundation for building the new website. We had several meetings with very specific outcomes around planning, design, confirming scope, etc. The team was very willing to work with us to keep us updated on short weekly status calls, as well as being very responsive to emails.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with probably half a dozen Bop team members on a regular basis over the course of the project, as well as others who we didn't connect with directly. This included project management, design, and technical leadership / implementation.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
No measurable outcomes (yet - we just launched a couple of weeks ago!) but the deliverables have been as expected. The launch process was very involved, and our main point of contact for final execution has been a great resource for us as we iron out any outstanding issues from the initial scope.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had a very clear timeline with specific dates communicated from very early on in the process. We had weekly status meetings, and were in regular email contact with both the PM and a few other key players at different steps in the process. The overall timeline did get pushed back a little bit, but they were very willing and able to shift it closer to the original date after we were able to make some initial concessions.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They have a lot of experience doing what they do, and they do it well.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There were some moments of (slight) anxiety on our part, where the launch date was coming up rather soon and we hadn't yet seen live URLs. In the end, it all came together, though! The only other thing that could maybe be done a little better from the PM perspective is regularly checking in on our target date and communicating any potential slip-ups. We tried our hardest to make sure we wouldn't cause any of those, and got caught by surprise - though it was just once. Bop pivoted very quickly to gain some time back for us, which they did graciously!

Web Redesign for Automation Equipment Provider

The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Digital Marketing Manager at our company, which is a leading provider of automation and mechatronics equipment, software, and service.
For what projects/services did your company hire Bop Design?
We hired Bop Design as a full-service provider for our website redesign including design, development, SEO, and content creation.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
My team spent quite a lot of time researching and interviewing vendors for this project. Ultimately, we went with Bop Design because they were the only vendor where all stakeholders on our team unanimously agreed that we could trust them. They let us interview previous clients that were in our industry, interview their individual team members, and even gave us access to a prototype backend environment so that we could rest assured that we would not run into the issues that we ran into with previous agencies.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
- Discovery and Research: Bop Design conducted comprehensive interviews with key stakeholders on our team and did a deep dive into our existing website and collateral.
- Creative Pitch: Bop Design presented us with homepage concepts and a potential sitemap.
- Revisions On Homepage and Sitemap: Bop Design received our homepage and sitemap feedback and implemented it.
- Content Planning and Website Technical Discussion: Our content was significantly changing with the new website, so their team conducted interviews with stakeholders on our team to help us create new content. They also interviewed our marketing team in order to determine our needed integrations as well as how we would like to improve from our existing website.
- 5. Subpage Design and Revision: Bop Design designed the subpages on our site and enabled us to go back and forth with revisions on the subpage concepts.
- Copywriting and Revisions: Bop Design wrote lots of new content for us in this redesign. In this phase, we went back and forth with content development and revision.
- Development: Once the design and content components were complete, Bop Design's team moved into the final development phase.
- Test Site Presented: In this phase, Bop Design sent us a test website as well as access to a reviewing tool. We collected internal feedback and edits and sent them to Bop Design.
- Final Review and Edits: In this phase, Bop Design has completed all of our edits and revisions and we provided the final sign-off for the website to go live.
- Post Launch Support: Bop Design provided us 30 days of post-launch support to ensure that our project was a success and that we understood how to operate the website. They provided us with a comprehensive manual.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
- Web Project Manager
- Web Content Director
- Marketing Coordinator
- Web Designer
- Marketing Specialist
- Web Development Director
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our previous website was poorly built and nearly impossible to effectively manage. Even though our business had significantly changed, the old website did not allow us to align our company's evolution with our website. Bop Design gave us a new website that was not only easy to manage, it completely reimagined the website's user experience and made it astronomically better for our prospects and customers.
Our business is made up of three business units that have distinct sets of users with little to no overlap, and Bop Design was able to take this challenge head-on and find a way to take users on the journey most relevant to them.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Bop Design was very thoughtful throughout the entire design, content writing, and web development process. They gave us a dedicated project manager that did a stellar job at coordinating communication between both teams. Every time we had a technical question, design question, or content question, we were always given the opportunity to talk to relevant subject matter experts.
The Bop Design team also did an excellent job at taking in information at the executive, middle management, and specialist levels of our organization and translating it into effective content, designs, and functionality.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What was most impressive about Bop Design was that they gave us exactly what we asked for and more. We interviewed lots of other agencies that seemed to not have our best interests in mind and were only in it for the money. Bop Design, on the other hand, is a true partner and they are equally invested in the success of our project.
If you work with them, you can rest assured that you are in the hands of experts that eat, sleep, and breathe their work and will do anything and everything to ensure your success.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There is truly nothing I would have changed with my experience with Bop Design. They went above and beyond with an extremely complex project and they gave us exactly what we asked for.

Web Design, Animation & Branding for Jewelry Company
“I love the design of the website, logo, color schemes, and animations they’ve produced.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and president of Atila, a company that does B2B wholesale, manufacturing, and design of jewelries.
What challenge were you trying to address with Bop Design?
To expand our business, we needed more online visibility and professional representation. As a result, I needed a website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Bop Design created our website from the ground up on WordPress. We started from scratch, and the team created a brand bible for us. Then, they did the full copy of the website based on what we told them. They also designed our business cards and email signatures.
For core features and functionality, I wanted colors and hero animations for the website — it needed a type of pop that would be interesting to customers. To that end, I had a vision of what the website hero would look like; it was intense in my mind. They told me it was nearly impossible to design what I wanted, but they came up with other cool options. I ended up choosing the coolest one I liked best.
Bop Design also gave me many logo options. It was somewhat an added service; they charged me for the website, and then they did simple branding services for me. We did a few rounds of revisions, and once I picked a logo, they started working on the website’s color schemes, which we also revised a couple of times. We used the same process for our business card designs and stationery.
We’ve launched the website, but we’re still finalizing a couple of small things. At present, they offer ongoing site maintenance services. They’ve also pointed me in the right direction in terms of website hosting. Going forward, I plan to continue the engagement in some capacity for ongoing SEO tasks.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with at least five people from Bop Design, including Jeremy (Business Principal). Our main point of contact is Jess (Web Project Manager), and I’ve also spoken with Colleen (Operations Manager), who handles our invoices. For the actual website work, I collaborate with a project manager, a copywriter, and a designer.
How did you come to work with Bop Design?
I found Bop Design on Clutch. I looked at different companies, and the process took a few months since I was also new to such a project. I didn’t want to just throw a bunch of money at something. On top of that, I was looking for something specific for my decent-sized budget. As a result, when I started looking at companies on Clutch, I went to see their websites and portfolios.
Bop Design’s website was polished. They also had a large portfolio page, where I was able to click through businesses. I discovered that they mostly worked on B2B sites, and that was compelling to me. While looking at their portfolio, I envisioned many things we could do on our website — that was a big takeaway.
I also interviewed a few other people and businesses extensively. However, Bop Design had the most professional setup, and they truly understood the B2B aspects of many things. In terms of costs, I received quotes from other vendors that estimated the logo and branding to be around $6,000. Bop Design gave me around the same estimate, and I felt more comfortable with them. They weren’t cheap but they also weren’t the most expensive, and they seemed to be the right fit for my needs. As a result, I decided to hire them.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve invested around $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in December 2020, and the engagement is ongoing. To be specific, we signed a contract with them in early-to-mid-December 2020, and then we began the actual work in January 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The website speaks for itself; everyone who has seen it has been impressed. The logo is simple, but it’s gotten plenty of good engagement from people who love it.
How did Bop Design perform from a project management standpoint?
Bop Design’s project management is efficient. They always quickly respond to my emails. To communicate, we primarily use emails. We also have Zoom calls, video chats, and phone calls. For website revisions, we use BugHerd.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I feel comfortable with the quality of Bop Design’s work and design ability. I love the design of the website, logo, color schemes, and animations they’ve produced. These things stand out to me.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The website’s launch took longer than both our teams had anticipated. We thought it was only going to take six months, but we ended up spending 10 months to launch. It could’ve been faster. To be fair, some of the delays were from my end, and others were caused by the many rounds of revisions we had.
Apart from that, the copywriter that worked on the website wasn’t of the best quality. That being said, other vendors wouldn’t even provide copywriting services. On top of that, they’ve been receptive and professional with all the feedback I’ve given them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be prepared. Come to the engagement with an idea of what you want, and be vocal about your opinions on important things.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing manager at FlexxCool, an automated coolant system provider.
What challenge were you trying to address with Bop Design?
We had an existing website and wanted to expand our core offerings and descriptions, so we needed Bop Design to redesign and rebuild our platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Bop Design collaborated with our team in redeveloping and expanding our web content. Upon finalizing the initial design and content requirements, their team built our website via WordPress, implementing new key features and web pages that allowed us to incorporate promotional videos, case studies, and testimonials into the platform.
Once they accomplished the development phase, Bop Design focused on generating SEO strategies and keywords that matched our marketing goals and aligned with our company’s branding.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Emily (Web Development Director), Robin (Brand and Content Director), Laura (Art Director), and Jessica (Web Project Manager).
How did you come to work with Bop Design?
We were looking for a provider with experience in the B2B market and ended up with a shortlist of three companies. Our team then decided to choose Bop Design because of their performance, proposed timelines, and quality website.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project ran from May–September 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Bop Design met our quality standards and rewarded us with boosts in client engagement and site traffic. Their team built a website that represented our diverse offerings and brand identity and opened several marketable opportunities for our business — that was our main success metric for their work.
How did Bop Design perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicated via Zoom meetings, and we organized and exchanged files through DropBox. From the beginning of our engagement, Bop Design provided clear outlines and time frames, which they diligently followed as we progressed. Additionally, we never had a hard time communicating our needs to their team.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Bop Design impressed us with a highly systematic and strategic approach — they organized each phase well and allocated the best resources to perform different tasks.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Their team managed everything well from the start. We had zero complaints.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give Bop Design robust and accurate content to work with — the success of your website depends on the quality of your content as much as it depends on their team’s output.

Dana Erickson: I’m the senior manager of digital strategy at Lee Industrial Contracting, a construction company.
Jacqueline Trost: I’m the CMO of the company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Bop Design?
JT: We needed help with website development. We’re relatively new to the organization, but one of the things that we quickly realized was that our website was in pretty bad shape. It was five years old, and it wasn’t optimized in any way. Overall, it was outdated.
We wanted a fresher look and feel because we wanted to expand into new markets. Thus, we required an up-to-date, informational, and much more user-friendly website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
DE: Initially, we had a brainstorming and fact-finding meeting with Bop Design. Then, they came back and provided us with a project timeline. After that, they upgraded our website, adding different plugins and functionalities.
Currently, we have an ongoing contract with them for digital marketing services. They’re in charge of some ongoing content development for us, specifically blog articles. They also manage our paid advertising through social media and AdRoll.
JT: Bop Design used WordPress to create our site from scratch. They also helped us integrate it with our existing CRM and with HubSpot, and they kept Gravity Forms, the technology that we were utilizing previously for our forms. Additionally, they wrote about 90% of the copy on our website, although we contributed to some areas.
Besides redesigning our website, Bop Design also helped us come up with a new tagline, and they defined the color palette that we would use for our branding. Then, they designed all of our collateral, business cards, and presentations based on the website design.
When we started this project, the collateral design wasn’t something that we intended to do, but we were so pleased with their work on the website that we increased their scope into an overall update of our brand.
The website design portion is now complete, and we manage most of the edits and updates to the site internally, unless it’s something major. Currently, their ongoing scope is the digital content marketing agreement that we have with them.
What is the team composition?
DE: We’ve interacted with 7–8 people from Bop Design, including those involved in the content creation process.
JT: Bop Design has a website development team separate from their digital marketing team, so we’ve worked with two groups of people. We have a project manager for digital marketing, and we had a different project manager during the website design portion of the project.
How did you come to work with Bop Design?
JT: We looked at three different companies, including a vendor that we were using but weren’t necessarily happy with. Bop Design stood out from the rest due to their organizational structure. They also had a tool that would help us streamline the review process.
DE: We did the research online to determine who we would be requesting quotes from. I came across Bop Design because they had recently won some awards specific to B2B services.
They stood out from the rest because they were very skilled in technical writing and content strategies. However, we chose them because they demonstrated a high level of understanding of our industry. Our previous vendor had been working on our account for 5–6 years, but even they didn’t have that level of understanding.
We actually reached out to another B2B company that stated they were specialized in our specific industry. Still, we found that from knowledge, service, and cost standpoints, Bop Design was head and shoulders above them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $35,000 on the website, and we pay a monthly fee for advertising. In total, we’ve spent under $50,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in February 2021, and our engagement is ongoing. The website project was completed in mid-July 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
JT: Dana and I worked together at another company. We’ve been through dozens and dozens of website redesign and development projects throughout the years, and we both agree that this was probably the easiest and most pleasant web design experience we’ve ever had.
DE: Change is always a little challenging, especially for companies that have had the same branding for a very long time. However, our internal audience is very happy with the new site.
The site has been up and running for only two months, but we’ve gotten a lot of really positive feedback from customers, too. Our sales team is seeing an increase in our qualified leads and traffic. Additionally, we track and monitor the phone calls we get periodically, and several people have mentioned that they’re calling after finding our site.
How did Bop Design perform from a project management standpoint?
DE: Bop Design uses a project management tool on their side, and we have access to it. Throughout the website development project, we were able to go into this system and comment, review, and provide our feedback as necessary.
We hit a bump in the road with scheduling due to a miscommunication issue. As soon as we addressed it with them, they very quickly turned around and made it work. They even met the original deadline.
JT: Working with Bop Design, the budget has never really been an issue. We use email, phone, and Zoom to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
DE: Bop Design has a great understanding of B2B websites. They’re great at UI/UX design, and they have the ability to come up with great and creative content; they excel at content marketing.
JT: I have a background in communication and marketing, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of their writing right from the get-go. They also did a great job looking into our competitors.
Additionally, they dug deep into our existing collateral and our old website to understand who we were as a company. Their content has been pretty solid from the beginning, and we’re really impressed with that.
Are there any areas they could improve?
DE: We’ve been through these projects before, and we know that there are so many things that can go wrong. However, Bop Design has been good in every aspect, and we haven’t faced many issues. Whenever we’ve encountered an issue, they’ve always had a positive attitude about it, and they’ve always found a solution. We feel very taken care of.
JT: Bop Design is a boutique agency. They’re not very small, but their leadership is very involved in the day-to-day operations nonetheless. Whenever there is an issue, the president and CEO of the company gets involved and reaches out to us.
We’ve never felt like they’re trying to hide anything; it has been a really genuine interaction. Thus, there isn’t anything that they could do to make it a better experience. It has been a good experience all around.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
JT: Having an established core group of people assigned to the project within your company is important; it helps a lot in the process. Bop Design is really knowledgeable in incorporating technology and best practices, and they’re great at understanding your wants and needs, so you can expect a really good experience.
DE: Have an outline of what your expectations and needs are. Additionally, let their team take the lead in the creative process and give them their space. They have a very talented team.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bop Design?
We needed a new website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Bop Design created a complete custom website for us from start to finish. We continue to build our SEO out with blogs and a call-to-action form.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with around 10 people from Bop Design, including their owner, project managers, content writers, and designers. During development, I had a weekly debrief with all of them.

How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around November 2020, and they launched our site in July 2021. However, our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our website’s look and feel is fantastic, and Bop Design’s work and design quality are excellent. However, as our efforts are focused on organic SEO, it is still too early to see results.
How did Bop Design perform from a project management standpoint?
Bop Design has met all of our timelines and budgetary estimates, and they’re extremely responsive. They use GatherContent, where we can go in, see the content, and make changes for them to implement. We also communicate via phone conferences and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Bop Design’s turnaround times, execution, commitment to details, and communication are impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. We’ve had a good experience.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?

SEO, PPC & Content Marketing for HR Company
"They feel like an extension of my own team because they immediately understand the business, strategies, and plans."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work at ExtensisHR, which is a national professional employer organization (PEO). We help small and medium businesses with their HR needs and with gaining access to healthcare benefits.
What challenge were you trying to address with Bop Design?
We hired Bop Design to help us accelerate our marketing needs. We needed additional support specifically with our content marketing strategy as well as with our visual design strategy.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Bop Design provides a full breadth of services based around our inbound strategy, utilizing content marketing and visual design to execute that. They help us with our SEO, web copies, blogs, and original content. The team also oversees our PPC ads and manages our Google and social media advertising. We use their designs for our display ads and text-based ads.
We began by outlining all of the keywords and key terms that we wanted to be ranked for on Google and, from it, built out a holistic content strategy that included our social media posts, blogs, web design changes, white papers, ebooks, and downloadable resources. They then built out a content marketing calendar based on that strategy, which we reviewed every month, and helped us manage our social media platforms across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
We also provided Bop Design with our brand guidelines, parameters for the tonality we wanted to achieve, and the look and feel we were looking for. The team has been using that for all the materials that they delivered to us.
What is the team composition?
We meet on a regular basis with a project manager and a copywriter, but we have their entire team working on our request as these came in. We also have access to their design team.
How did you come to work with Bop Design?
I have already been working with them for several years. Because they’re such a phenomenal partner, so I brought them in from my last company.
I originally found them online, but that was several years ago. I was really impressed with their services, their approach to the partnership, and how they collaborate with their partners as opposed to simply taking and executing requests. Bop Design really talked to us about what we were trying to achieve and what we were looking to do. They were a great extension of the team.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested about $145,000. We pay $80,000 a year.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together for a year a half.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’ve done really well in developing the necessary materials and tools to help get more leads for our company. Generally speaking, we’ve seen a dramatic increase in our web traffic. Our website has now become the main lead-generating tool for our business.
Before I brought Bop Design in, we didn’t have a lot of resources, materials, or even an SEO program. The team has made a major impact on the inbound activitiy on our website. As of today, 100% of the closed deals in our marketing generated sales have come as a result of our website.
We had another company design our website but Bop Design’s content, resources, and SEO work really elevated everything.
How did Bop Design perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re phenomenal. Bop Design really talks us through when we can expect something to be delivered and helps us with planning out the timelines. The team also makes recommendations when those materials will be ready.
We meet with weekly for a 30-minute check-in, just to make sure we’re all on the same page in case there are any changes. One good thing with Bop Design is that they are really good at being fluid. If something comes up, they are able to reprioritize and switch gears.
We communicate through Zoom and email since we’re on the east coast and they’re in the west.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The most impressive thing about Bop Design is their ability to be so collaborative while leveraging their expertise. They feel like an extension of my own team because they immediately understand the business, strategies, and plans. They’re just extremely easy to work with.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Through the years, I’ve seen their services, communication, and processes become sharper. They just grow and become better with time, so I don’t see anything that needs to be improved that won’t get better the following year.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t be afraid to ask for feedback from the team. Really lean on Bop Design’s expertise and guidance because I myself could bounce ideas off them. You can dictate the process if you want, but you’d be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t collaborate with the team.
