BV is a lot of things, but we’re not an agency. We’re a creative collective, a social experiment, a power ballad, an overpainted canvas, an angry mob, but we’re not the translators of briefs. We like to reimagine things altogether, and show you the images that run through our heads. Funny looking blots, audible colors or whatever it is. Not to say that we’re mean, but we might be a little stubborn. And we back this all up with brains, big brains; you’d be surprised. Because we’re gunning for a different type of greatness, the one that’s self-fulfilling and un-answering to some greater motive. We do great work, for great work, not for the numbers. We’re ambitious, a little cocky, fun to be around, and generally nice(ish) people. Volvo India, Kothari Foods, ITC Hotels, PVR Cinemas, Hines, Audi Gurgaon, Porsche Delhi Centre,
Foxtrot; a chain of haunts for creative people and sub-cultures serving cocktails, food and coffee; was gearing up for a grand opening at Cyberhub, Gurugram. The wanted a communication to launch their somewhat esoteric positioning of being a high-brow creative melting pot in a market which understood only flashy overtones, heavy-handed Bollywood DJs and ‘ladies nights’. We employed the strategy of creating a sense of ownership and welcome among youngians looking for a place to belong (and chill). #ThisIsYours was born illustrating how we are a ‘come as you are’ establishment by creating an eclectic, colorful and musically charged film that was extensively loved.
We took multiple creative as well as non-creative archetypes of people and shaped a quirky montage of these, illustrating how everyone is welcome and celebrated at Foxtrot. The characters in the films are genuine micro as well as macro influencers, well-established in domains such as art, music, poetry, graffiti, etc. (e.g. https://www.instagram.com/rodahiya/, https://www.instagram.com/sintanu/, https://www.instagram.com/poemsonmypalms/https://www.instagram.com/weeke... and more). The film was shot in one day on a shoestring budget and was kept to a length of just one minute for easy dispersion.
Porsche Centre Delhi NCR (erstwhile called Porsche Centre Gurgaon) was allowed itself an Instagram page for their own branding and promotional content. The challenge was to adhere to strict, albeit slick, brand guidelines while also churning out content that was trendy and topical.
After being awarded the mandate for handling their Instagram, we drew a careful plan of using graphics, typography, original photography and video to create a distinct visual persona that carefully balanced our own visual ideas and their global flavour.
Quintessentially Japanese and borderline Kawaii, YouMee had carved a real niche for itself in the Indian culinary adventurer’s mind in the one year that it had been around. With multiple stores opened and infinite bowls of Ramen served, YouMee was a rare story of success in the hyper-competitive, hyper-churning F&B landscape of the capital.
Blue Vector created two films for them (among other regular hygiene creatives), one for a store launch in Bangalore and the other as an anniversary video. For the format, we turned to the tried-tested-but-still-amazing stop-motion way of doing things. To this we spliced in everything Japanese, including their menu items, ultimately creating this cute and wondrous little digital film which was one those things you don’t skip ads for.
Captain Dough is a Pizza delivery chain in Chandigarh. The target audience comprised of the youth who craved for baked goods through the day and munchies in the wee hours of the night. As a piece of the target group ourself, we committed to creating something novel and cheesy - just how we’d like it. We began by creating the mascot, whose story was told through multiple social media creatives. Each element of the mascot starting from his knife tattoo to his untied laces showcased his journey around the world that led him to be the star chef that he became. The logo was designed with the same appeal and aesthetic with a strong relatability quotient.
Our multi-faceted, high-engagement and unapologetically fun Social Media content for Barbecue by Punjab Grill, a pan-Indian F&B chani.
On the eve of Real Estate company, Gulshan's 30th anniversary, they wanted to undergo a rebranding exerice to position themselves in the luxury segment.
We undertook the exercise, a part of which was a new corporate AV. Filmed over a week, all across Delhi, the film reflected everything Gulshan sought to be, and some more.
Alphabets is an NGO focused at becoming a leading agent of social change dedicated to the education of underprivileged children. A profound vision such as theirs required a powerful translation into a more visual narration. The main factor challenging them from reaching their objective was that of gathering funds. So, here’s where we stepped in and devised a strategy to establish a distinct voice for ‘Alphabets’. From logo creation to rebuilding the website to setting up their social media platforms and weaving an impactful brand story around it, we started from the first letter, quite literally.
Additionally, we also designed print collaterals such as posters and pamphlets as part of Alphabets’ association with other brands for the purpose of spreading awareness about the brand as well as offering people with the opportunity to donate for a cause.
In a sea of restaurant chains flooding every main street in Gurgaon, La La Land was waiting to emerge as a strong ship for the party-goers in town. And guess what, magic happens! We turned to our wands, waved them, curated fancy campaigns, and posed like the mavericks. Well, lameness aside, absolute imagination came to play in this scenario.
We created a visual identity system that married pomp and magic, with golds, blacks and a world of flourishes. At the centre of our system was a logo, which we dually adaptive to horizontal as well as vertical orientations.
So more than a labour of love, this was a concerted declaration of an opinion, and hopefully a thought starter for other communicators, brands, doers and people in general.

The video generated responses of almost 60% of the target audience. Blue Vector had an effective workflow and good communication skills. They made periodic calls and followed with preview submissions which helped in wrapping up the project.
