Can you talk about the results and how you feel they performed in terms of the quality of the work they provided?
We were very happy with the work they provided for us. They were always very open about the results their projects achieved, and we built on the successes and culled the failures.
Are there any statistics or metrics you can share that would track the improvement of the project?
They increased our affiliate marketing by probably 1,000 percent and our SEO by 500 percent.
Is there anything unique about them that really makes them stand out, compared to other companies?
As their two principals [John Studdard and Georgianne Brown, co-founders and managing partners of Big Couch Media Group] are their main points of contact, it gives you a level of service and attention that is unique. They used the term "we" right from the start, and really identified with our pain points. They didn’t say "your" issues; they were "our" issues.
It’s a level of thinking that is hard to get without having the owners involved. The two principals run their own companies and understand the seats that we’re all in. They have a level of empathy that pushes them to deliver a high-quality product at the lowest possible price.
Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or something that you might do differently?
I can't think of anything.
What advice would you give to a future client of theirs?
They view themselves as "insultants," not consultants, so be open and honest about all pain points. If you're ready to hear the honest truth, they’re a good company to engage.
