Beach Chair Marketing built our website from scratch. We provided them with some information, and they helped us generate content, too.

We participated in a program for entrepreneurs where Márcio was a guest speaker and gave a presentation about marketing. He was amazing, and I knew he was the person to go with, so I contacted him and asked if Beach Chair Marketing could build our website. We scheduled an appointment, they gave us their prices, and we negotiated.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Beach Chair Marketing was always happy to help, and they made sure we were able to manage our site independently. The team was very patient; we kept postponing our business opening due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and I’ve never seen more patient businesspeople.
How did Beach Chair Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management was excellent. It was as if they worked 24/7; I would send them an email, and they would respond within 1–2 hours, even though we had a two-hour time difference. We mostly communicated through email, though we also scheduled calls through Zoom or Google Meet, and we sometimes used WhatsApp.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was most impressed by Beach Chair Marketing’s professionalism. They knew we weren’t computer-savvy, and they took the time to make sure we understood what we were doing. I also appreciated that they negotiated their prices; they were flexible because they wanted us to succeed.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They put together some training videos for us that should have been in higher definition to see information clearly.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to keep the communication line open with Beach Chair Marketing. If you don’t say what you need, they won’t assume. Don’t be afraid to voice what you want — whatever it is, they’ll make it happen.

Due to the pandemic our plans were altered but we hired Beach Chair in August 2020 to commence our online marketing and digital presence campaign to re-brand and advertise to a wider range of potential clients.
What were your goals for this project?
Our plan prior to the Pandemic was to restructure the firm, organizing our branding and online presence. We wished to expand. Our commencement date was March 1, 2020. The Pandemic changed our plans slightly but we are on our way to achieving our goals to grow our firm and boost our online presence.

I was introduced to Marcio, the head of Beach Chair Marketing, through a mutual acquaintance.

Beach Chair Marketing has been very active in my campaign. They reviewed and redid our website and then commenced SEO campaign. They also set up my social media pages for my company on Instagram and Facebook. They produce 12 posts per month on three social media, including content and graphic and they make sure it is not just relevant to our field of work but also incorporates our colour scheme. They've also introduced live graphics to the posts as well. Overall, great content.
What was the team composition?
Beach Chair Marketing works closely with the lawyers of the firm to make sure the content is accurate and the graphics are how we wish to represent our firm. Their system of using an online check and balance, is both transparent and organized.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Beach Chair Marketing team is very active. I've received multiple comments from colleagues, family and friends regarding our extensive visibility on platforms liked LinkedIn. I've also received comments from clients about their perception of the firm due to our online presence. This is all due to the continuous progress and great success of Beach Chair Marketing's impact on our online presence.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
As stated before, Beach Chair Marketing uses an online system to organize the production, review, approval and scheduling of all content. This platform allows my firm to make comments, make revisions and/or approve the content as soon as it is released. It also allows us to collaborate on ideas, such as important updates and urgent posts to be sent out.
Aside from this, Marcio and/or his team hold a monthly review meeting where the progress and the effects that they seen as they monitor our online presence is provided to us in laymen terms. This keeps everything very smooth between our firm and Beach Chair Marketing and the workflow is on-going.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their timely and effective responses and quick action has been very impressive. I worked with a different marketing company previously and I have to say Beach Chair Marketing has made this process very very simple for me. As a business owner, I do not understand and do not have time to deal with the marketing side of the business. I think it was my best decision to hire Beach Chair Marketing and I only have good things to say about the way they handle all aspects of growing the firm's online presence.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I can't really say there is an area for improvement. As I've said multiple times, Marcio and his team are very transparent. If there is something they are unfamiliar with, they offer a solution. It's very much up to the business owner what way to proceed. The only issue I've had to date was with a certain condition of their contract but that issue was resolved quickly.

I’m the owner of a painting company, and we work in the construction industry.
What challenge were you trying to address with Beach Chair Marketing?
I’m a business owner or a painting crew, and I don’t really have time or passion to either speak about my company through posts or reach my clients. As a result, we hired Beach Chair Marketing to simply drive more inquiries for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They offered several different options and packages, and out of those, I chose the social media campaign package. Beach Chair now spearheads our LinkedIn and Facebook posting and content creation. Usually, the posts are in the form of sponsored ads.
The team gives me relevant topics I can check and sends them to me for approval and checking. Sometimes, I give them the direction of what they should develop, but they probably develop 80% of the ideas we have. Then, they develop the content, and I either tweak it or recommend it for posting.
Aside from the content itself, they also create the images and background. Moreover, they make it a bit more fun, less wordy, and social media-friendly.

We only one work using ClickUp, and that’s where Beach Chair loads their ideas. That’s also the platform where I can tweak, make comments, and push back deliverables so that they can update them. I can also have a glimpse of the quality of work they’re doing — from conceptualization until the end-stage. Overall, the whole process has been transparent and useful.

We can look at the metrics he provides and then determine which direction to go into. The metrics help us determine what our visitors liked or didn’t like. As long as things are moving in the right direction over time, I’m good with that.

I’m the kind of client that knows what they want, so I told Márcio exactly what I wanted. I’m not a design specialist, so he helped me figure out some of the flaws in the designs I came up with. He recommended ideas that would help the designs appeal to a broader audience.
