enorm
How do we solve the climate crisis? Is business possible without greed for profit? How do we stop racist thinking? We are faced with many problems and find few answers in our media. We are however surrounded by ideas and people who make our world better.
Since 2010, these stories have had a home at enorm. Enorm wants to show that a magazine can empower people – with every issue, article, contribution, newsletter and podcast.
We have been in close contact with serial entrepreneur David Diallo for many years. High demands on content and functionality, tight budgets and tight schedules characterize this special partnership. The first project that David approached us for was enorm. We were contracted to deliver a new look for this popular media platform which required a technically sophisticated integration of the backend. Complex article layouts using shortcodes, custom designs for each section of the category tree, newsletter integrations are just a few of the cornerstones of this project.

A clear, trend-setting statement from this respected architectural firm.

For us it was a matter close to our hearts. And we’ve created a brand that encourages participation with sympathy and focuses on everyday situations with respect for family and friends, gender, the environment, politics and institutions, race and ethnicity, as well as work and education.

IZAIO
IZAIO Management is an independent high fashion and modeling agency based in Berlin. IZAIO’s customers range from aspiring local designers to the most established fashion houses in the world.
We knew IZAIO from our JPEOPLE days. When Cornelia decided to renew her logo, CI and website, Baubauwerk had not yet been founded, but she entrusted us with this prestigious contract at an early stage. Our branding and logo design have been the image of this successful agency ever since.

FAKE PR
FakePR was founded in 2005 by Clare and Mike Langhammer. The agency is characterized by its unpretentious and accessible approach to communication, marketing and brand consulting, offering real strategies and solutions to an exclusive portfolio of clients. Kleine Fabriek
Kleine Fabriek started as an online shop, then in 2015 a flagship store in Berlin-Schöneberg followed and a second store in Mitte in 2016. Kleine Fabriek is a family business through and through. Mama Astrid Papa Sebastian and their 4 kids. We were asked to develop the Kleine Fabriek brand identity in 2015 and were able to get this now successful family business off the ground with a new logo, branding materials, flyers, stickers, etc.

Sublime Postproduction
Sublime is one of the leading post-production studios in Europe. The client lists the “who’s who” of the ad-agencies and photographers; therefore, Sublime’s website is always an industry benchmark. We have now been able to implement the new Sublime page for the second time. The creative user interface, dynamic grid layout for the portfolio section and the mobile version implementation have certainly led to an exceptionally high-quality online portfolio website.

Please describe your company and your position there.
We are an office of an elected, very young politician. In the office I was responsible to establishing a new website for the politician, which has current technical standards and serves as an entry point for citizens for the politician's work.
For what projects/services did your company hire Baubauwerk, and what were your goals?
The original website was a standard template. However, as a young politician we needed an up-to-date one that combines seriousness with coolness, which is rather difficult in a political setting. Moreover, the political topics we work on are not the coolest ones.
Therefore, the website needed to be a cool entry point for young but also for old people, therefore creativity was of major importance for us. In addition, we required some integrations with third-party software. In addition, we hired the company to design and program html templates for our newsletter system.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Online search, first talks and initial offers. Deciding factors were personal feeling and creativity in combination with professionality of previous projects.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had several meetings over the course of the project whenever there was the need to give input from our site. We started of with pitching what we needed. After some weeks we received initial design ideas which we talked about. After two more iterations the design choice was made by us and the website development on Wordpress could begin.
This process was very professional and let to a first version of the website. After some more requirements which came up from our site, the website could go live within a couple of months.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
three: CEO, Head of Design, Programmer
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Audience loves the website and we receive a lot positive feedback for it. Measureable metrics can not be considered since the environment changed entirely (assuming office).
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
I hold a very close relationship with the CEO, who was responsible for the running of the overall project. His project management style exceeded my expectations and made the work very smooth. Timeliness and the communication via phone and email were perfect.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The creativity with which the team approached the unusual task we gave them is impressive. And also the flexibility in creating very individual solutions for integrations for us.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
no

Our website was a few years old and no longer met our requirements. A functional design was just as important to us as a sophisticated appearance
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We had made a pitch with several web designers and baubauwerk convinced us
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Martin Groeger and his team gave us excellent advice and made the right suggestions right from the start
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Martin Groeger advised us on all strategic issues, Stefan Lucut advised us on design issues together with Martin Groeger and one of the assistants then implemented the concepts.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Both the work process and the result of the finished website thrilled us. The price was fair and the cooperation was professional
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What impressed me most was the accuracy with which Martin and Stefan translated our wishes into visual design.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
besides coffee and water please also offer a cold beer in the meeting
Users loved the look and feel of the website that the Baubauwerk team came up with. The company received a lot of positive feedback on it but is currently unable to share any measurable metrics on the project. The company appreciated the team's creativity and flexibility on the project.
