I work on the brand marketing team for Ticketmaster. We work with social media and brand marketing.
What challenge were you trying to address with B3 Media Solutions Inc.?
B3 Media Solutions provides us with social listening and audience reports.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Right now, B3 Media Solutions monitors Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube for us. They monitor our competitors too. The team currently uses Brandwatch as its social listening platform.
They provide us reports either ad hoc or at a monthly reporting level. We have weekly check-ins with them to go over insights. The team helps with trending topics and making recommendations for our business.
B3 Media Solutions looks at the overall conversation – what people are talking about and what the trends are. The team advises us from those trends, letting us know if we should invest more in a trend or social media platform. They help us stay relevant in the conversation and see potential problem areas or areas to win as well.
What is the team composition?
We deal directly with Myra (Co-Founder), Barika (Co-Founder & CMO), and Thomas (Co-Founder). Under them, they have three junior analysts.
How did you come to work with B3 Media Solutions Inc.?
They were already picked out by my previous manager. When my manager left, I was pretty adamant about keeping them on board. We found that people coming in from leading organizations found their work impressive.
How much have you invested with them?
I want to say it’s between $80,000–$130,000 per year.
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working with them in October 2017. We recently re-signed a one-year contract.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
At first, we kept the reports internally to help with our strategy. The reports provide us with helpful audience insights and analysis. After a while, I started printing them out as sharing them with people outside of my direct team. Everyone wants the reports. Even the president is aware of them.
They’re a small company, but we never feel constrained by them. They’re always supportive and on top of it. The reports are easy to digest, and our company can use their insights to drive its marketing approach.
How did B3 Media Solutions Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
Each week, we have a check-in. They’re always on point. In the last three years, they’ve never been late.
While we do use email, we mostly work with them out of Google Docs. They’ll make sure to give us access to the reports before the meetings. We had a shared folder that stores everything we collaborate on.
Their team walks us through them to make sure that they can answer any questions. Our weekly check-ins are where we touch base. It’s a very collaborative effort. I’ll share if we’re aware of an organization’s plans, and they’ll keep an eye on that topic and see if there’s any trend.
What did you find most impressive about them?
B3 Media Solutions values the relationship more than receiving the top buck.
It was apparent while we were going through budget cuts and furloughs within our industry that they were still willing to work with us on our contract. They found areas of efficiency to continue our working relationship with them. Their team cut certain hours so that we weren’t getting charged as much. They also kept the rate pretty consistent.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Nothing really jumps out.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be open and talk with them. Thomas handles the business side, and he’s an open and honest person. They will tailor whatever you need, even if it’s not on the menu. If you’re thinking of working with them, let them know what you need exactly. Communication is key with them.

The company is built upon the radical idea that all athletes should have a platform to express themselves without intermediaries. I was the social media analytics manager, I gathered insights from social media intelligence platforms and native social platforms to analyze performance metrics, consumer sentiment, and general social conversation around organic and paid media across owned channels.
