Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president and CEO of Visual Branding Agency, a full-service branding agency.
What challenge were you trying to address with Aycock Marketing?
We work with several clients on developing online marketing programs, building websites, and constructing an overall brand.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They develop and build websites for us, as well as online marketing programs that involve social media, Facebook Messenger, Google Ads, etc.
They’ve developed several websites for many of our clients. Some clients are involved with corporations and franchises that have needed key pieces that work together with online marketing. These projects attract potential clients online and get them to interact with the website. They then bring in productive income for our clients.
When we develop programs with online marketing and social media, we combine them all together to react to the situation. We’re trying to get acquainted with everything so we can do business with the clients. This includes e-commerce websites, online scheduling programs, and other projects. For example, they make programs where Facebook Messenger is connected to their website. They can use social media, talk on Messenger, and from there take them to those clients’ websites to continue interacting.

My main point of contact is Zander (Founder, Aycock Marketing). He had a team of 4–6 people working on the project.
How did you come to work with Aycock Marketing?
We have a client in common that we’ve had for about eight years. Through that client, we got to meet each other.
How much have you invested with them?
We’re investing $30,000-$40,000 per year.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2013 and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re very particular with who we work with since we’re a full-service branding agency. Every aspect of the team needs to communicate. That includes everyone working in graphics, photography, website design, and marketing. With Aycock Marketing, they have the capability and understanding to work with a branding agency and connect all the dots. They are one of our preferred vendors to work with.
Their expertise supports 30-40% of our work. The client feedback we’ve gotten is positive and tremendous. They know how to work with our clients and adjust any marketing strategies as needed.
How did Aycock Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
They're excellent. It doesn’t matter what time of day or night—if we have questions or need a last-minute meeting, they are available. We trust them. It’s not just building a website or programs. They continue working on them daily to keep them up-to-date and improving. It just gets better and time goes by.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They know what they’re doing. They’re experts and they keep growing in their education. Their team constantly trains and learns more. That’s why they’re so strong and why we value them so much. It’s a team of young individuals who truly keep up with what’s going on with their market.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They need to hire more people and train them faster so we can give them more work. However, they’re very smart not to overdo it and overtake what they can handle.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give them a try. They’re so sincere and straightforward. It’s a delight working with them.
