I am IT Sr. Director at Tenaris, a company that manufactures seamless and seamless pipes for the extraction and transportation of gas and oil. Tenaris has a staffing of 23,000 employees in more than 30 countries.
For what projects/services did your company hire Axonier?
With the aim of transforming the work dynamics of the IT area to streamline and improve performance, we hired Axonier's consultancy, who worked with us in a very productive way and achieving the objective.
What were your goals for this project?
Improve the dynamics of the IT area, proposing organizational changes, process changes and methodologies. Definition of new roles and dynamics.
How did you select Axonier?
They worked at Tenaris and the Techint group in general on various projects.
Describe the project in detail.
Surveys were carried out at different levels of the organization to understand what they expected from the IT area. Interviews were also conducted in the IT area at all levels in order to understand how it was working and how people wanted to work, pain points, bureaucracy, etc.
Then workshops with design thinking methodology were held with a selected group of IT personnel to seek solutions, ideas and proposals that would provide a solution to the problems encountered during the survey.
Then changes were implemented in the IT area in order to apply the definitions that were taken.
What was the team composition?
A team made up of a Director with a lot of experience in processes of this type worked, a partner who participated in various events and a team of between 3 and 4 people depending on the time of the project.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
After the project we carried out a reorganization of the area and changed the work dynamics making an area more agile and flexible. This is a process that takes time because it requires a change in the way of thinking, we are in full swing.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was a team with very good communication, they adapted very quickly to the TS work team with methodology and very professional.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The applied methodology and the way of documenting were very important.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I can't find anything to mention. They worked very professionally, with very good dynamics and teamwork.

For what projects/services did your company hire Axonier?
Power BI and Data Analytics
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We search in market companys with power bi profiles and after talk with several of them and do a RFP, we found in Axonier good profiles and good prices.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We built reports for mangers in a short period of time at the begging, but after this, we had the need to create a service to manage all reporting requests and move to learn about how to do predictions with our data.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We have 3 power bi consults in the service and around 2 data scientists in data analytics projects.

I guess all the time we can improve.
After the completion of the project, the company carried out a structural reorganization of the work area and made it more agile and flexible. The team's documentation and applied methodology played a significant role in the entire process and was one of the more impressive elements of the project.
