What challenge were you trying to address with Aveo Software Inc.?

We needed help building a member management system.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Prior to this project, Aveo built our website for us. We then had an idea to create a platform to streamline our services, but we didn’t know how to go about it. The team walked us through making our idea into reality; they came up with solutions and alternatives to make it more viable. They’ve created a platform designed to manage our members' payment details, email systems, and athletic programs. It also can store several tutorials and strategies that can help our affiliates run a successful business. The software is custom-designed for us by the Aveo team — it’s almost finished, but we plan on working with them on an ongoing basis.

I only work with Jignesh (Owner) and Alpesh (Co-Founder).

How did you come to work with Aveo Software Inc.?

After working with them on our website, we knew we were compatible. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $60,000 AUD (approximately $46,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in March 2020, and it’s still ongoing. We pulled the plug for a little bit due to COVID-19, but we picked things back up after a while.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

There aren’t any clear metrics yet because we haven't received the MVP. We're still waiting to see how effective it is, but we've had a chance to tinker with it. It seems to be working the way we wanted it to, and we believe it will be a successful platform. 

How did Aveo Software Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management has been excellent. We use Google Workspace to collaborate, along with occasional Zoom meetings. The team is very accommodating — despite the time zone difference, they work around our time slot. We’re absolute beginners, but Aveo has been very patient with us. They’re very experienced and professional, which makes it easy to work with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re amazing. We change our minds a lot because we don’t have much knowledge in the area, but Aveo is able to work around our level of inexperience. They’ve been really dynamic and patient. We aren’t experienced in the area, so the solutions and ideas they’ve come up with have made the platform better than we thought it would be. They’ve really added value to our project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they could do better — everything we've asked them to do, they've done successfully.

My advice is to trust Aveo.

I'm the founder and CEO of an online travel and tourism media platform startup.

For what projects/services did your company hire Aveo Software Inc., and what were your goals?

We needed a prototype web app to validate the market and we wanted something that looked great but also had some of the basic functionality we hoped to test.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Because of the complexity of the project, we couldn't find any templated solutions that would meet our needs without sacrificing features or responsiveness. We interviewed several candidates but ultimately decided on JC and Aveo Software because of their size and unique skill set.

Everything was structured throughout the process, which was very reassuring. We went through an initial design phase with plenty of time for input and feedback. And once development started there were checkpoints along the way to make sure we were addressing everything. It felt very professional like working with a larger agency but with the personal attention you get from working with a small team.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I only dealt with one person throughout the project and that was JC. He was responsive throughout the project and even though there were others involved at different points on the project he was fully knowledgeable and could speak to all the work being done.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We got exactly what we set out to build and were able to test with a select group of users before moving on to the next phase of our project.

Communication was good and Trello was used to track progress and individual tasks.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Easy to communicate with, responsive, and willing to provide input/suggestions when requested.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As with any project, there were a few bugs, but everything was addressed and fixed quickly.

I am the Director of successful restaurant business. WE Operate multiple restaurant location through our company.

Aveo Software team helped us to create an iOS and android application for our restaurant. The app connects to several different order management systems and also helps us to manage our shifts.

Our team members found Aveo Software online.

We need an iOS and Android application for our restaurant. The app connects to several different order management systems and also helps us to manage our shifts. Employees pick up shifts using our app.

Five resources, One Project manages One Designer, Three Software Developers. We are in touch with only the project manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The Project is currently in testing phase right now but it's been looking good so far. There are some bugs but the team is very quick to fix them.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was very smooth from the start of the project. Everything was well planned and they communicate very well with us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were proactive and highly skilled in the workflow. They have never given us no for an answer. We've asked for things that weren't included in the original project, and they've been willing to do them without ever complaining.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, We have been really happy with their work so far.

I'm the founder of Wonder Kids Yoga, an online platform with kids yoga and meditation video classes.

For what projects/services did your company hire Aveo Software Inc., and what were your goals?

We hired Aveo Software to develop the entire web platform from user design to wordpress development.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We chose Aveo for their excellent communication (quick and reliable), use of the AGILE methodology and competitive price.

Aveo developed a web application for wonder Kids yoga. Which included technologies such as PHP/MySQL/JavaScript, Vimeo, Stripe, Mailchimp. The site has: - Payment applications, promo code & gift card functionality - Multiple profile pages for users - for several members in the family - Filters to search different by class type, teacher, age group - A "My classes" section for kids to gather their favorite classes -

A widget that tracks when a child completes a class. As we plant a tree on their behalf once they complete a class. Steps included: 1. Wireframing 2. Designing website and admin panel 3. Admin panel development 4. Website development 5. Testing 6. Deployment

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There was a UX designer, project manager and web development that our team worked with. I'm sure there were many others behind the scenes!

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Aveo created an incredibly user-friendly experience for parents and children. While the site is still in its early launch stage, we are receiving very positive feedback about the striking design and easy navigation.

The Aveo team held a very thorough scoping session and then as we moved through development, they shared wire framing tools to gather our team's feedback. They then shared the fully functioning test site for review.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was very impressed with Aveo Software throughout the duration of our project together. They were very professional and thorough in the scoping stage of the project, yet flexible when having to pivot for various reasons. They were very quick to respond throughout the process and very clear in their communication.

They took full accountability for the project as if it was their own business and would suggest ideas to make things more user-friendly. They took time to teach me WordPress so our team could manage smoothly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When we first launched there were some bugs happening, but they quickly reacted to resolve the issues.

Should I Eat This is a mobile app that teaches patients with chronic diseases what is appropriate to eat.

For what projects/services did your company hire Aveo Software Inc., and what were your goals?

I hired Aveo Software to build a minimum viable product in preparation for an incubator/accelerator.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I wanted a vendor with positive feedback and the ability to execute within the given timeframe.

The MVP was created using the Google Firebase platform and involved a rules based algorithm in conjunction with API integration.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I interacted primarily with Jignesh.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The work was delivered as described and the quality of work and turnaround time was great. The app is still pre-launch.

Timelines were met and the method of correspondence was through email and phone. I worked directly with Jignesh and he was available to answer questions and concerns.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their high-quality work with a good turnaround time while keeping prices fair is impressive. That is hard to find in a developer.
