Web application development for manufacturing co.
The main requirement of the project was to create a marketplace for Iron and Steel products - to connect sellers and buyers together. The goal of the website is to bridge the gap between sellers and buyers of iron and steel products in micro (C2C) or macro (B2B) scales. Service Providers register on the site and can create Products, Auctions, RFQs, Tender Sales. There are various intricate interactions between these three components, and a detailed membership module delegating permissions based on membership levels. Also the site needed to be fully bi lingual, in Farsi (RTL) and English.

Online portal for a reputed online publishing co.
The client is a reputed online publishing and business listing company. They were running sites with primitive proprietary CMSs and was facing increasing difficulty to maintain these websites. Particularly the three above mentioned websites were different versions of the same website as these are affiliate sites of the same parent company. There were three major focuses on the development - Ease of content editing, a very advanced advertising management feature and an impressive look and feel with interactive elements.

Online Chef Discovery & Hiring Network
It is for foodies and for people willing to get the best taste of dishes made by the expert chefs to search, discover, and book a private chef all around the world – online or from a mobile phone. It is a platform for hiring a chef based on location, distance, event, cuisine type, diet type, experience level, availability, and hourly rate. Its basic purpose is to hire/book chefs for cooking/providing food for various events ranging from weddings to potlucks. It is also a very good platform for chefs to feature themselves and their skills with an authentic rating system to promote their profiles highlighting their achievements and awards.

Online landlord reference verification system
This site is an online landlord reference verification system. The client wanted to have a system in place where a landlord can request a reference from the previous landlord of a tenant regarding different security and behavioral aspects of the tenant to make sure the tenant is fit to be allowed to stay in his/her property.

Implementation of online portal for ERRIN
The goal of the project was to first set up a perfectly lined up content management system for the client's growing content needs. The site was content rich, with news, events, partners, working groups etc, which contained intricate relationships amongst each other. Apart from that, we needed to set up some complicated functionalities like invoicing, content moderation and approval mechanism and calendar features. An extensive search for various content was a must for this project.

Online platform for students to book classes
The portal is an online platform for students to book classes from various tutors of diverse backgrounds. Students can search for tutors and classes based on various filters and criteria. These classes can be both online via web conference, or home tutoring.
This project was meant to be a website for students to book classes from various tutors online. The tutors would register online and fill up various information and their resume. They would then go through an approval process and once verified, their listing would start to appear on the site. Students can search based on different criteria using an extensive filtering mechanism. They can then book the two modes of classes - either online or offline (if a tutor has added this option to his profile). Then the student makes a payment deposit as per selected tutor as per selected time slot and per hour rate of the tutor. And once done, the payment is escrowed to the tutor, after he enters his bank details, IBAN and BIC details. Another great functionality which we implemented here is the group class feature. Any tutor can start the group class and can mention how many students can be accommodated in one group class. And then students start to register for the class till it is full. There are various complex discount calculations which a student is entitled to if refers another student to the group as there is a feature to get referral discounts for referring other students to the group class. Some of the processes, especially referral discount calculation, were very complex, and our team of experienced backend developers successfully handled those challenges and went above and beyond every expectation.

Development of legal compliance &assessment portal
It is a legal compliance and assessment portal. The main purpose of this portal is to be able to test and measure your legal compliance knowledge quotient across your competitors in different job roles, age groups, work domains and demographics. The client came to us with a detailed product idea and wanted us to develop a solution for them, both functionally and a very lucrative design which should be simple, dark and engaging. Also an advanced quiz and test handling mechanism was to be developed to be able to give the site administrator full control over the tests, question composition, category and difficulty level compositions.

Decentralized real estate investment platform
Project was not a simple one dimensional project. It had multiple layers and staged roll out plans. The initial goal was to set up a basic platform for people to register and add their details, complete KYC and then be able to browse some data like properties, charities etc. They also get access to the dashboard where they show them the key matrices. At this point, client planned to start in depth and extensive advertising campaigns reaching out to as many users as possible across the globe and get them on board. For this they needed an email newsletter campaign builder, capable of sending 20K emails/day, based on customized templates and selecting recipients based on certain criteria. Also, they needed an extensive translation system, which was simply not possible with Drupal's native translation interface, though it definitely was a good base. Next was in depth referral system. They wanted to further reach out and lure users to refer others who would then join the platform using the referral. Referral benefits were provided in the form of DOM tokens, which later once the currency went live, users will be able to withdraw. While these things were happening and the user registering and referral program was becoming more and more successful each day, we started to work on the main aspect of the site, the DOM token order sell. The Pre ITO and ITO phases were upcoming, and we allocated a section of the team to dedicatedly work on these aspects. We devised a well thought out sell procedure based on extremely complicated conditions and restrictions. Pre ITO arrived and ITO arrived, both a huge hit. Next, was the blockchain integration, which is at present underway. We are discussing the architecture and integrating the ARDOR API for this, making steady progress each day. There is constant monitoring work going on behind the scene, and a section of our team is steadily working making small fixes and maintenance polish ups, ensuring the site remains perfect and performant.

Online portal for shipment & transportation co.
At the point the client contacted us, their main business was handled offline, and through a very primitive booking system. This was causing huge issues to their expansion plan. They came to us with a vision to create a full blown back office management system for their business. This includes creation of shipment (called as jobs), manifests, connotes, scanning of barcodes feature, integration with quickbooks API and a host of other features. A systematic transition from one phase to another needed to be achieved which helps in smooth transit between different branches, along with the detailed record keeping and job sheet creations through barcode scanning feature which we implemented.

Implementation of high end search and data import
About The Project:
The client had a huge database. Maintained in traditional SQL. The existing search mechanism was slow and inefficient. Wanted us to suggest a solution. Build a smooth and fast search process. Filters were important, so users can find the right data.
Business Challenges & solutions
Our architects designed an efficient data structure using powerful content types taxonomies. Highlights of what we achieved.
-
Design a highly scalable and efficient content structure. The data has extremely complex interrelations. And planning was key. Our architects were able to develop an efficient solution through content types, field references, and taxonomies.
-
Design a data cleanup and sanitization script. They had an extremely large data set, and the data was not very quality. It lacked basic checks and sanity. We not only had to process the data and sanitize the data but also, needed to fix some broken interrelations, which was important before it can be imported into the new system.
-
Design an efficient data import mechanism. Large data set. Hence needed to create a robust import mechanism, that not only would import data once but can be used to import several batches of data, from their other partner sites, which can be updated periodically.

Alumni Networking Portal for an EdTech Company
They contacted us to build a digital platform for the registered schools, institutions, and students across the UK. They wanted to build a personalized alumni networking space supported by features like online chat, video conferencing, career consultation, and more. The platform allows alumni and students to interact using different tools available in the platform.

Drupal e-commerce multisite using Aegir setup
This project was about building a web product for an ecommerce company, who wanted to sell ecommerce extensions to different websites. Ideally, it would be a multi site setup for different clients who would want to set up an ecommerce extension for their own websites by purchasing this service. This is a classic example of a complex drupal multisite set up heavily relying on Aegir. Ideally any website owner, who wish to set up an ecommerce store, but don’t want to go through the pain of implementing a full blown ecommerce into their site, would purchase the service from this client, and would select a few basic features, like subdomain name, and package and template they wish to subscribe to. The client already had different templates for ecommerce stores, which are nothing but drupal installations with different features, themes and set ups. Once they select this, Aegir will roll out a new drupal website with the selected template, with the subdomain that the client wanted. For example, let’s say a company xyz.com have purchased a service from the client, and then wanted to set up an ecommerce store at abc.xyz.com which is rolled out by Aegir system automatically with the pre selected templates (called drush make files), which are nothing but complete drupal set ups ready with themes, modules and configurations like necessary content types for products, informational pieces and banners.

Platform upgradation for an online fan store
At the time they contacted us, the client’s portal had a vast array of fans and fan accessories, but was poorly designed with a primitive and slow fan builder process. They were running a Web Store based on Drupal 6 + Ubercart. There were 4 major targets:
- Migrate their site to Drupal 7
- Port their ecommerce store from Ubercart (with about 30,000 fans and fan accessories) to Drupal Commerce with enhanced features.
- Create a much improved version of their fan builder feature which allows visitors to compile various parts of the fan (like motor, blades, light kits, downrods) through an interactive graphical interface.
- Redesign the website to make it more attractive and responsive.

The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the founder of a premium salon and spa. It is a perfect platform for women to ensure their personal care through our wide range of hair and spa treatments.
For what projects/services did your company hire Auxesis Infotech Pvt. Ltd., and what were your goals?
We reach out to Auxesis Infotech for their WordPress development services. The project is in its final phase. As a professional who is working in the beauty industry for more than 15 years, I wanted to create a unique platform for women that provides all the beauty-related assistance under one roof. And we are pretty much on the track to create such an amazing platform - thanks to Auxesis Infotech.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I was looking for the right WordPress development firm for my project and someone referred Auxesis Infotech to me. I got in touch with them. After knowing their expertise and having a few meetings to know if they have the potential to be the best WordPress partner for our project, we brought them on board.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We hired WordPress website development services from Auxesis Infotech. The website is built on WordPress and is in the final phase of the development process. It covers some unique and interesting features including a ‘book appointment’ feature.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
For the project, we are provided with an experienced WordPress team that includes a designer, a developer, and a project manager.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
They are doing a tremendous job in making the website as per our business needs and expectations. Till now, we have no complaint about the services they have provided for our project. However, it is still too early to comment on the impact of the project on our business as the website is in the final stage.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The project management is quite seamless and we are very much satisfied with their services. They are very professional in keeping the client updated with each and every step of the project.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The professionalism and the work approach of Auxesis Infotech are worth mentioning. They have set standards for themselves and always make sure to meet them in every little task.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Technically, we haven’t found any areas where they should look to work as the final output is yet to be delivered. However, we want to see them grow into a firm that provides 24/7 services and support to clients.

Web Dev. for Optical Wholesale Company
"As we progressed, I had to compromise. I didn’t want to jeopardize it by not finishing, but that’s what happened."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We're an optical wholesale business specializing in microfiber cleaning products and other optical accessories and supplies. We’ve been in business for 28 years.
I’m one of the owners and the CFO of the company. I work more on the administrative side, but it’s a family business, so I wear multiple hats.
What challenge were you trying to address with Auxesis Infotech Pvt. Ltd.?
Although we’ve been in business for 28 years, we hadn’t had an e-commerce platform before. We were looking to get online sales, build a broader reach in terms of prospective customers, and better serve our existing ones.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our platform was on WordPress, and the contract was for Auxesis to assess our needs, recommend a platform, and build out an e-commerce site. There were some complexities related to the nature of our products. Customers would submit a logo, and there would be an approval process before the order went to production.
We spent a considerable amount of time reviewing reference websites that we wanted to mirror, especially before contracting Auxesis. We had many calls with them to discuss those examples, and they took a lot of time initially to run through my concerns and what I wanted, but the execution was poorly done.
I don’t know technical jargon, so I went over functions that I wanted, and they provided the scope of work. There was a certain key term that wasn’t included in that scope, and it was one of the core reasons we wanted an e-commerce platform in the first place. I came to realize later that it wasn’t a part of the scope.
Auxesis tried to play this game, saying that the verbiage hadn’t been included in the scope of work and that we’d have to pay for a second phase. When looking through our Skype chats, I can see that it was clearly communicated as something we needed, but they didn’t include it in the scope of work. I don’t know whether that was a failure of communication, or they thought that it would take a long time and didn’t want to incorporate it. As someone not familiar with the technical jargon, I wasn’t able to catch it.
What is the team composition?
It started off great. We had a project manager assigned to the team. She connected with me and relayed the information to the rest of the team. We had consistent meetings and status updates at first, but it didn’t turn out very well as we progressed.
How did you come to work with Auxesis Infotech Pvt. Ltd.?
Given that I’m not a nontechnical person, I tried to do as much due diligence as possible. I looked at reviews on Clutch, asked for references, and talked to some of the candidates’ previous clients. Auxesis has a lot of good reviews on Clutch and other platforms, and they spent a considerable amount of time evaluating the websites I wanted to emulate. I felt at ease thinking that they understood my expectations.
This could’ve been a one-off, and they just dropped the ball because of the coronavirus, but they haven’t done much to make it right.
How much have you invested with them?
The entire cost of this scope of work was supposed to be $10,000. Thankfully, I didn’t pay them as much as I thought I would.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Auxesis in late-January 2020, and I still don’t have a functioning website. It’s come to the point where I’m a nuisance to them, and they’re hoping that I go away. It hasn’t been a great working relationship.
Our last communication was Auxesis saying that they’d finished the work, but it’s obviously not finished. There are still a lot of things that need attention. Every email I get is them saying “We fixed it. Here it is!”, but it’s still not fixed. There are still errors. I’ve compromised a lot of quality during this process, just wanting to get the site done.
Our last interaction with Auxesis was in October, and we pivoted to a different company in November 2020 to start building out what we wanted.
Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.
I’m a business owner myself, so I’m not a big fan of leaving bad reviews. I know that there are a lot of different variables at play, which can be isolated incidents, but, in this case, I feel that Auxesis really cheated me.
There wasn’t a direct impact on our business, but there’s the potential opportunity loss, along with the cost of the website and my time. I don’t think there’s anything we could’ve done to prevent this. Of course, communication could’ve been improved on both sides.
What irritates me is that we paid for a service, Auxesis recommended a platform, and the contract was that they were going to make custom integrations to fit our business model and processes. With the limited knowledge I have, when I look at the website’s backend, I can see that Auxesis has basically purchased a third-party plug-in (which isn’t even the premium version, but a trial or lite one). They claimed that it was custom-coded, but it was obviously not. Their integrity and the quality of the work were awful.
How was project management handled?
They gave us progress updates through Trello, and I could leave comments there. The project management portion was okay, in terms of updating us on what they were working on.
We contracted out a fully dedicated team for this project, and I was paying a premium for that. Auxesis promised me a developer, a designer, a tester, a project manager, and one other resource—a team of five individuals to solely focus on my work. There was no dedicated team. The designers on their team worked a little bit on my project for a couple of hours a day.
As we progressed, I had to compromise. I didn’t want to jeopardize it by not finishing, but that’s what happened.
Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?
They did well in trying to earn my trust in the beginning, spending a lot of time going over my concerns. I appreciated that part because there aren’t a lot of people willing to commit that amount of time, not knowing whether they’re going to get a contract or not. Unfortunately, that didn’t escalate into actually delivering what we discussed.
In what specific areas can they improve?
They can improve in terms of honesty, integrity, and quality of work. If the website wasn’t finished, but they were working hard on it, and the work quality was good, I’d be fully okay with that. They told me that it would take two months, so the project was supposed to run from January to March 2020. We’re now in November, and they’re still sending me updates saying that it’s finished.
What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?
I’d say not to go to Auxesis, but they have good reviews, so other people must’ve had good experiences with them. They may be good at other tasks and projects, but Auxesis may not be the best company for custom e-commerce development.

Web Design/Development for Telecommunications Company
“They were really perfect.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the marketing manager at WTC Communications. We're a telecom company, and we offer internet, phone, security systems, and television.
What challenge were you trying to address with Auxesis Infotech Pvt. Ltd.?
The website that we had was incredibly out of date. Not only did we want a website that looked modern, but we needed new functionalities that the old website didn't have.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started with an RFP, which outlined our needs for a plan builder, mobile-friendliness, and the need for cities to change depending on what area the customer was viewing it from. They confirmed that they could do all of those things and outlined a template for us that we could review as a team and adjust as we went along. It was excellent.
What is the team composition?
We worked with four members of their team.
How did you come to work with Auxesis Infotech Pvt. Ltd.?
When I initially sent out an RFP, I literally had hundreds of people that had varying levels of price and experience. I was overwhelmed until I had received their proposal which had stood out far beyond anyone else's. It was very clear and it was so well organized I could tell that they had experience doing this before.
How much have you invested with them?
We've invested $8,000 – $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in September 2018, and we wrapped up in November 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our team was really happy with the updated site. I had done a lot of the visuals, including the graphic design, and they made sure the designs looked the way we wanted but also functioned properly.
How did Auxesis Infotech Pvt. Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?
We had a few Skype calls in the beginning, and as it went along, they set up spreadsheets that had items that needed to be done, whose responsible for them, and I was able to control when something needed changes. Everything was color-coded so we could easily tell what tasks had been finished and what needed to be done. I was really glad they did all that for me. Usually in projects, I'm the one that has to initiate that kind of tracking.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their professionalism stands out to me. Throughout the entire time, the way they communicated with me, delivered projects, and performed follow-ups felt very professional. It was really reassuring when you have a lot on the line and need to get things done by the deadlines. I knew I could trust them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don't think so. A lot of the challenges that came up were on our side. For example, if we asked for something and suddenly changed our minds about it, it put us behind schedule. It was never really on them; they were really perfect.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to be clear at the beginning of what you need from the project because developers aren't minded readers. Giving them a clear request is always best.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We are a communications consultancy based in Brussels, Belgium, and work with several European associations primarily on website development. We are currently focusing on European policy and associations. I'm the owner.
What challenge were you trying to address with Auxesis Infotech?
It was initially web development for my own company. Once that was done, we built 10 more websites with Auxesis over the next two years.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Currently, our biggest project is for a European network. We're building the site on Drupal, with a custom Bootstrap frontend. It brings together 130 members, over 1,000 users, and 12 working groups with activities such as event registration, news, and policy document publication. The site has many functionalities, including member activity monitoring, providing different permission levels to certain types of users, pushing information to them through built-in email services, and sending out registration links for events automatically after the registration has been accepted. This goes across 27 different countries.
What is the team dynamic?
I have a single direct contact, with a team underneath him. The size varies from time to time, but now we're working with a team of four to five people. They’re always available; no matter the time of day, I can get in touch with them on Skype or WhatsApp, and we can talk through the problems we’re having. There's a good level of English as well.
We run projects simultaneously, up to four at any one point.
How did you come to work with Auxesis?
We found them through Freelancer.com. Auxesis came out on top of other developers based on the ease of communication and the previous projects they’d completed.
We took a three-month break from Auxesis when one of their colleagues was ill. It was painful, and I was happy to move back to them. This was an eyeopener, since we thought we’d simply use Freelancer.com again. We went through five or six developers, and it was a struggle; the work was eventually done, but there were multiple mistakes, the English level was not right, and timelines were extended every week.
How much have you invested with them?
The more complex website had a cost of between €10,000 and €15,000. [$12,000–$18,000].
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Auxesis in the summer of 2015. They're flexible, so we have a monthly subscription for a set amount of work and jump between projects, chucking any bugs on a site into the task list.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Using Google Analytics to look at the number of users we have, we’ve seen an increase year after year. We also run a membership survey within our organizations; the website was one of the things criticized previously. Ever since we launched the redevelopment, there’ve been many compliments on the improved look, functionality, and ease of navigation.
How did Auxesis perform from a project management standpoint?
One of the things we changed halfway through was using an online system called Trello, which monitors task completion. This has been the most effective way of managing tasks and has improved our productivity significantly since being implemented.
If an issue is urgent, we get it fixed in the moment. If not, we put a plan together and set a timeline for fixing it or developing new functionality.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I'm impressed by their communication and speed of action. We had a bug with one of the modules of the website, which produced an error message. I couldn’t work out what the problem was. Within 10 minutes of contacting Auxesis about the issue, we were already working on solutions, and in less than two hours, it was up and running again.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We both need to be clearer and more realistic on timelines when setting projects, to monitor the process a bit more, and to be aware of how much we’re extending the timelines with new tasks.
