I’m the social media director at Gas Monkey Garage. We’ve been featured on the television show Fast N’ Loud, and we build and sell cars. We’re also engaged in online merchandising.
What challenge were you trying to address with ATTN Agency?
We needed help in marketing and advertising.
What was the scope of their involvement?
ATTN helped us launch a new campaign. We changed our digital marketing plan, and we raffled one of our cars, and every $1 purchase entitles our customers to one raffle entry.
They advised us about email, SMS, and social media best practices. They also connected us with a specialist for anything that we needed help with. Their specialists then gave us guidance on our various needs.
ATTN also helped us with our paid ads on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. We provided them with the content, and they checked the placement and targeting. Additionally, they’ve added backend links for tracking and ensured links were working correctly. However, ATTN’s role was only advisory, and I was still the one who posted our content and ads.

They were excellent at project management. We communicated through Slack, email, and text messages.
Are there any areas they could improve?
ATTN could have provided better examples when discussing strategies. They mentioned competitors in our area on a lot of their advice. However, half of the time, we didn’t have any concrete examples to compare.
Additionally, whenever we asked for a quote, the final price always increased as we got more into details. We weren’t able to completely trust their initial quotes.

Since we don’t have any brick and mortar space, digital marketing is our bread and butter. Owning the customer journey is really important to us, so we hired ATTN Agency to support our paid marketing efforts and acquire new customers.

They are responsible for all of our paid search and paid social efforts. They work on Facebook and Instagram primarily, but all of the various search platforms, as well. Display ads and Google Ads are also handled by their team. For short term projects, they work as a consultant for us, too.
We build most of the creative and copy in-house, but ATTN Agency helps with iterations on those materials. They make suggestions and small changes to our copy to make everything more efficient.

We developed our own website and needed some help pushing it out and picking up some sales.
What was the scope of their involvement?
ATTN Agency provides PPC through Google Ads and Facebook to bring in new people. We’re putting in more money on Facebook to get new customers. For each ad, we give ATTN Agency the creatives and graphics, and then they tell us what’s working and what’s not.
The metrics, reports, and analytics provided by ATTN Agency let us take that information and find the right audience using targeting and retargeting. ATTN Agency took over our email efforts as well. Everything’s set up to scale up. Every week phone conversation, they go through reports and explain where we’re looking good, what’s picking up, what should pick up. Everything they tell us follows the path they laid out.

We were trying to scale our DTC business and had high CACs that were completely unstable. Our goal was to bring stability to our CAC as well as drive it low enough to make the business scalable from an economic perspective.
