We then reached out to each lead that expressed interest in our services and had the budget to work with us.

We searched online for lead generation providers and shortlisted several firms. We then interviewed Atlantic Growth Solutions and hired their team.

I’m the founder and CEO of a care coordination platform. It’s a cloud-based application for nonprofits and private community health organizations to help their clients navigate through the services and resources in the community.
What challenge were you trying to address with Atlantic Growth Solutions?
We wanted to have some pilot customers to introduce our product and value proposition.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Atlantic Growth Solutions is guiding one of our staff members through the process of generating leads and creating a value proposition. As a result, their work mainly revolves around corporate coaching and training. We also work with them on a biweekly basis to achieve our targets. They give us additional help with our calls, too.
What is the team composition?
We’re collaborating with two people, including a director on the executive team and another person in charge of training and coaching.
How did you come to work with Atlantic Growth Solutions?
I went through an accelerator program locally and they had engaged Atlantic Growth Solutions to be part of that program to help startups with sales coaching and playbooks. My experience working with them directly was good.

We’ve spent $4,000–$5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in December 2019, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since engaging with them, we already have two pilots in progress. Those projects are a collective effort of our organizations. We’ve had some success with refining the playbook and value proposition through having conversations with them. We’ve also been able to learn some lead generation tactics from them. Overall, we’ve implemented all the knowledge base we gained from Atlantic Growth Solutions.
How did Atlantic Growth Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re good. The communication between our teams is very open. We communicate through email between the checkpoints. We also do Zoom calls. Everything is very clear, and they’re upfront on how the coaching will look with very limited changes on anything.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Atlantic Growth Solutions understands our product very well, and they follow our product’s journey, which is the reason why we want to work with them. They know the customers and try to challenge some of the assumptions that we make about the customers. When they apply their sales coaching and tactics, everything works well.

They might have room to improve on the coaching development side.

It’s important to see whether a company is comfortable and passionate about your company and your product or the customers you’re dealing with. When that match happens, then you should go ahead and engage them.

Atlantic Growth Solutions supports our sales and communication efforts by conducting sales coaching sessions for our team. As the sales manager, I rely on their team’s services to identify effective measuring tools that I can use to gauge the performance of my team members. They’ve introduced the scorecard method to help us collate quantifiable performance data and analyze the efficiency of our pipelines.
Upon examining the scorecard results, we keep track of any trends or commonalities and use those to put our account planning into place and set strategic goals. Atlantic Growth Solutions also provides us with performance improvement plans and tips to help our resources make the most of their productivity and sales expertise.

I’m the managing partner of Perimeter Group. We’re a digital imaging service, taking companies from paper processes to digital platforms.
What challenge were you trying to address with Atlantic Growth Solutions?
They’re our marketing and sales arm for lead generation.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Atlantic Growth has assigned a resource that calls into various industry sectors for us. They have their own methodology of marketing to generate leads in a B2B sector, and we supply them with marketing collateral (like case studies) to send to potential prospects. Once they’ve set up a lead, my partner and I handle the interaction from then on.
They also execute email marketing and LinkedIn marketing campaigns, acting as an extension of our sales team.
What is the team composition?
We’ve interacted with four teammates, but there is one full-time resource. The latter has a manager that backs them up at Atlantic Growth.
How did you come to work with Atlantic Growth Solutions?
We looked at 4–5 companies and shortlisted two, including Atlantic Growth.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $25,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with Atlantic Growth since April 2021. We just renewed our initial three-month commitment for another three months.
Six months to one year down the road, if we’re still doing business together — I see no reason why we wouldn’t be — then we’ll address a possible expansion.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re happy with the results so far but in our business results don’t come in overnight. We’re in agreement with Atlantic on our desired timeframe, and we’re pleased with the person who’s doing the calling. We’re also pleased with their manager, Kent (COO). The challenge is to make sure that leads are showing up for the meetings when they’re scheduled.
How did Atlantic Growth Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve performed well — very efficient and hands-on. We have weekly meetings on Google Meet for half an hour. They use this time to report on the work done in the past week. The sales manager hosts the meeting and he’s very detail-oriented.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I really appreciate Mark (Principal & CEO). He was flexible with our needs throughout the selection process and made sure that their financial model was in line with our budget. They didn’t just offer a one-size-fits-all solution. Rather, they came up with a system that fit both companies. The other potential vendor wasn’t interested in providing a custom engagement model.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We only have one resource working for us — and maybe that’s the way it should be — but if we had two people then things might go faster. On the other hand, this would drive the cost up.
The second item is that the pinning down of appointments. It’s not necessarily the caller from Atlantic Growth’s fault that the executive lead I’m supposed to be meeting with doesn’t show up, as they send follow-up communications. This is just a consequence of people’s relationship with time nowadays. This is just a challenge that Atlantic Growth has in the business they operate.
Any advice for potential customers?
Get to know Mark, who is genuinely interested in his clients, as well as Kent, the sales manager. Those two people are critical to the success of Atlantic Growth Solutions.

We developed a sales blueprint that is now being applied to follow up with 300 potential leads in the local geographic region. This sales process has been programmed into our CRM and includes call scripts, email templates as well as an email newsletter campaign.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Multiple group sessions took place over the course of 8 weeks and were followed up with additional check in sessions for an additional 6 weeks. These sessions provided plenty of time to ask questions, speak with other participants and continue to improve our sales process.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their great knowledge of the sales process and ability to help customize a process specific to our individual needs.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We are extremely satisfied. The only improvement could be if their services were for free and they did more work, but then again, that's us being facetious.
