Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am head of customer marketing for a life insurance brokerage.
What challenge were you trying to address with ASSISTED?
They work with us across our paid and organic search marketing to improve our SEO and our acquisition activity.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They work with us on a consultative and a hands-on basis. They have access to our CMS, and they guide us technically in the building and development of our new website. They apply metadata, build internal links, and manage all the technical aspects of SEO.
Initially, we invited them to work with us through an RFP process. We selected them and created a strategy to explain the audience we were targeting. They provided insight and analysis on keyword volumes and density, and they helped with web development projects to identify the technical SEO management systems we needed to add. They changed our URL to redirect attributable search engine queries. We have them on retainer to create content, build leads, and manage one-off projects.
What is the team composition?
We typically work with one main point of contact, but the wider team includes another two to three people.
How did you come to work with ASSISTED?
I worked with their head previously at another company. I introduced ASSISTED to my colleagues when we were selecting an agency. They came to us through that association, but they competed with the other agencies we considered in our RFP process.
How much have you invested with them?
We've spent between £30,000–£40,000 (approximately $39,000–$52,000 USD) over the course of our collaboration.
What is the status of this engagement?
The engagement began in April 2017 and is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We've achieved our average search engine position we wanted, and our link density has improved. Site traffic increased from 15% to 20% from organic searches. We worked with them on Google Ads campaigns and have quickly driven down the cost per click. We've improved our clickthrough rates and other metrics to improve our campaign performance.
How did ASSISTED perform from a project management standpoint?
They perform well, and everything is ordered, structured, and well-organized. We communicate daily.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their attitude is winning. They're flexible and agile, and they're never bound by process or the clock. They go over and above to get the job done correctly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They've been successful in the short time since they established. They should consider the structure of their account management, as we still communicate predominantly with their founder. As they grow, they would benefit from a more robust client services team.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Hire them. They're one of the best at what they do, and they have a proven pedigree of success. I would definitely recommend them and would be happy to bring them with me to any organization.
