We were working with another service provider on our branding strategy. Once we redefined our branding strategy, Asset Digital Communications stepped in to implement our new branding on our website. They completely redesigned our website and provided us with a comprehensive SEO and digital advertising strategy. They conducted a competitor analysis for other players within our niche industry, which they used to inform their keyword research efforts.

We’d acquired a new company that contracted Asset Digital Communications for their digital marketing and SEO requirements. As we started thinking about rebranding our website and working on SEO, we reached out to two other parties for quotes. Our industry is relatively niche, which makes it challenging to find information about qualified partners.
We decided to reach out to Asset Digital Communications to discuss their capabilities, the project scope, and pricing. From a pricing standpoint, they lined up with the other service providers. We chose them because we liked their strategy and the fact that they were already working with another division, so they understood how our strategies could potentially intersect.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We receive a monthly report which enables us to review the movement in visibility and targeted keyword rankings. We can also see the impact of keywords and other elements when we compare our results against our SEO competitors.
How did Asset Digital Communications perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management style is excellent, and they deliver work within the budget. Furthermore, they submit work on time, sometimes even to a fault. We’ve had instances when they’ve chased us to make sure that the deliverables are completed. We communicate over email and meet monthly via Zoom.
They’ve been very responsive, and whenever I’ve shared feedback, they’ve taken it in stride or challenged it, which is good. We work in a complicated, niche industry, so it’s challenging for those outside the industry to understand our impact. We faced a challenge with some of their blog authors initially, but they immediately brought in technical writing experts who were more in tune with our industry.

And because people are bilingual, they implement the keywords in French and English. Additionally, they also do some email marketing through MailChimp.

One of their major tasks is to choose a theme for the festival — and the theme is perfect. As a company, we appreciate how they make sure everything works. We have a different program that we put online, and as soon as we give them the tasks for that, they usually finish them very quickly.

What we do is write a script for all the changes that we want implemented, and once that’s done, we send it over to them. Afterward, we review the changes that they made through Zoom and everything is usually 100% after the first meeting.

I would say that their communication is the most impressive thing about them. They communicate everything like issues, site updates, as well as license subscriptions.

We need to select a new theme for the website, one that includes a video feature — which they’re looking into right now, so we’ll have an update on that soon. They could also improve on the budget. Since we’re a non-profit organization, the problem usually lies within the budget.
