We are the online version of one of the biggest and most influential online magazines for women in Poland. I'm head of business development.

For what projects/services did your company hire Artegence?

To create a new visual language and user experience design for our magazine’s web platform.

What were your goals for this project?

To create a modern, unique web magazine platform. Unique design and visual language were of utmost importance. All to boost the brand’s recognition among users. Also, our goals were to become first choice in the category for readers and to attract a new, younger generation of women readers.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

A few years ago we did another redesign together for our main brand – the online newspaper platform.

Describe the project in detail.

Artegence was responsible for the UX workshop, product concept and UI/UX design of our platform. Together we established our premises: who are our users, what, where and how they read, who’s our competition and what they do, who are our potential new target group and how to reach them.

Then Artegence provided us with a product concept; a few screens and user flows presenting a new approach to user experience and interface design.

When it comes to visual design, we wanted it to be minimalistic and elegant, but also distinctive and – the most important - unique. Then Artegence prepared a user interface style guide and all user flows for desktop and mobile. At the end they were responsible for user tests.

What was the team composition?

The Artegence team was comprised a UX researcher (initial UX workshops and user test sessions), UX designer and UI designer working together. There was also a Project Manager role in the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Six months after the site was launched, we saw a great increase per year: 54% more reach and 38.6% more page views. Website was promoted to 3rd place among women's magazine websites in Poland!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Thanks to the initial UX workshop we had very good communication throughout the whole project. The project manager kept us updated and well informed. The cooperation and project flow inside the team were very effective. When it comes to tools, the PM’s main tool was Redmine, and there was a Slack alternative for communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were pleasantly surprised by the unique, fresh approach to design they presented. We could immediately discern the top-level quality.

Are there any areas for improvement?

In such portals, conversion rate is one of the most important elements. And with conversion there’s always room for optimization – it’s constant work on user experience.

What were your goals for this project?

Creating a webpage that would help Oriflame consultants to grow their knowledge about running business online. The site was supposed to be clear, easy to navigate and highly informative. We needed a space that would aggregate knowledge about marketing, business relations, social media, online recruitment.

How did you select this vendor?

We've already worked together on other projects for our brand and we were pleased with the cooperation plus we run a small contest of offers on the market for the project. We choose Artegence mainly because of their UX/UI skills.

What was the team composition?

The team size is project dependent. We have an agreement that allows us to expand or reduce resources as needed, and currently work with a team of four to five people.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Many of our consultants find the platform very useful. They value the knowledge and practical tips we provide them in an attractive form.

It’s important to understand that Oriflame consultants come from different backgrounds. They are women and men of all ages. Not everyone is digital savvy, so the website Artegence created is a great tool for them!

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We plan large projects a few months ahead. The account manager was responsible for coordinating communication between our teams. Numerous times we’ve worked together at the Oriflame headquarters – our team values face to face communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I value their technical expertise; they’re knowledgeable about what they do.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I have no complaints, keep up the good work especially in the technical and creative / design areas!.

I am a Project Owner of implementation of new website for B2C and B2B customers. Nationale-Nederlanden is one of the bigest European  insurance companies with approximately 4 million customers on our local market. We offer life and pension products.

Our company website was created over 5 years ago and had not been updated since. We had noticed that our previous portal is not suitable for presenting new digital products and we would like to change on-premise model for hosted one.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to increase our organic traffic and number of leads that we receive through our lead forms on the website. We also needed fast and user friendly CMS for instant changes on the platform. Having inhouse possibilities for creating sub webs with new products.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

First of all we searched for the best vendors on Polish market with the biggest experience in digital. We started the RFI process and after having preliminary offers we selected best five offers for the RFP process. Finally we selected vendor based on the quality of their final proposal, their know-how and their price which was very fair.

Once we selected this vendor, we had a series of meetings regarding our goals and objectives. After that vendor came with an implementation schedule divided in to phases (Discover, Design (UX & UI), Development, Test, Launch).

What was the team composition?

We were assigned a project manager to support us and serve the main point of contact. There were also an analytic, UX and UI team, 4 fronted and 5 backend developers, as well with QA resources behind the scene.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After our new website was launched we noticed increase in overall traffic and higher conversion rate from the lead forms. The new design is much more user friendly and leads customer by the hand to the products that they are looking for.

We hear positive feedbak on the usability, flow and look and feel. The CMS which was recomended by the vendor improved our workflow and effectiveness.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication beetwen us and the vendor was very smooth, we had a sense of control over the project and watching over the schedule.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are doing smooth implementations. Artegence’s experienced specialists are a source of useful knowledge and helpful digital experience. They supported us in every step during all process and their job is well-rated by our clients. Well done!

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is always something to be improved and what can be done faster but overall we think that choosing Artegence was very effective for our project.
