I'm the owner of a Car and Bike Tyre Shop in Ahmedabad having 2 locations. We sell tyres and provide services like Alignment, Balancing, Brake Servicing and replacement, tyre repair etc. We are into this business since last 25 years.
For what projects/services did your company hire Areterix Technologies, and what were your goals?
We started our tyre store 2nd location in March 2019. We were initialy using an offline desktop base software to manage our invoices, inventory, and accounts. With the new branch it was difficult to manage both branches with an offline desktop base software. We wanted something that can connect both branches and give us an inventory report, and sync invoices together while keeping our existing accounting software.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We searched on google for different options available in the automotive industry. We found 2-3 different options who have worked in automotive industry. Most of them had a standard SaaS base solution. We wanted something that can incorporate our custom requirement of keeping our exisitng accounting software and managing invoice on the cloud sync everything with the offline software. Areterix convinced us that they can do that and gave us a small working demo. Hence we finalized them.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
They designed our software in Codeigniter. They started delivering us in phases. First they designed what was our most priority that is generating sales invoices and syncing them with accounting software, then they gaves us feature through which we can track payments received, later the purchase invoice and stock management, the CRM functionality, expense tracking. Each of these functions smoothely sync with our tally accounting software.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There were 2 people working fulltime on the project, 1 developer and 1 project manager who coordinated with us for requirements.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
They delivered us timely as and when promised. All our operations of invoicing, inventory, recevables and payables management, service reminders to customers etc are fully dependent on this cloud software.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We timely received our deliveries and feature improvements, our software has till now 100% uptime. We usually communicate via whatsapp and calls and few times a physical meeting if necessary.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Along with their professionalism, all members were friendly and always suggested a better futuristic solution. Plus some companies i earlier had discussions used to charge for every small change/feature we discussed while i never felt the same with them. They always said "It would be done".
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
As they are a startup scope of improvements is always there. One thing i felt was they can deliver faster if they had worked with two developers instead of one, but it is not much of a matter to me as they delivered me as per my schedule.

I am the Purchase manager and design engineer at Maniar & Co. Maniar & Co. is in the business of Manufacturing of Municipal Utility equipment ( Garbage compactors, Vacuum Trucks, Jetting trucks, etc) and Aerial Work Platforms.

We had engineering Data entry and data management problems. We needed simple, scalable and human error resistant, purchase, parts and engineering Bill of materials related software.
How did you selectAreterix Technologies and what were the deciding factors?
Vendor understood our problems and provided simple and effective solution to our data entry/management issues. Their solution covered all our problems, and was scalable, if required in future to add more features.

Their software is SQL server - Web based. Initially project was for data entry/management of Engineering/purchase parts with Part number generator. More features such as Sales order, Finished products, Bill of material, Work order and Tally sync were added. Software features included user sign-in, and user group based feature rights.

We had 1 contact point from the vendor's team - Position: Partner/Project manager
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Project was launched fairly quickly. Data entry error have reduced considerably and data management has improved exponentially and has become very easy and less time consuming. There is good visibility of data across different departments in company.

Their project management is good, and mostly met their timelines or delivered before that. Communication was usually through email and whatsapp.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Single point of contact worked best in our case. We had single point of contact in our company as well. They have managed well their work within their team.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Project is still on-going for adding new features and I am sure if we point out any issues, vendor will sort it out.
Areterix Technologies delivered everything on time and met all of the client's requests and expectations. The client and third-party clients were highly dependent on the software the team created. During the engagement, they communicated seamlessly through WhatsApp and several physical meetings.
