Class Equity
Online platform helping students grades K-12 build financial literacy and positive social behaviors.
Technology: Python, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL.
ClassEquity is an online platform helping students grades K-12 build financial literacy and positive social behaviors. The web app consists of both a teacher and student side and allows students to open their own type of bank account. Thanks to the application they can practice earning, saving, and spending in a low-risk environment. Students apply online for classroom jobs that the teacher has preset. These applications are sent to the teacher, who then hires students and sends salaries for their job. Students can spend that salary in the class store but have real-world expenses to be mindful of, such as rent for their desks and utilities for classroom space. Teachers can easily send bonuses, fines, rent, and salaries from their accounts. After a teacher has sent a transaction, the student deposits it on their side, providing a real financial experience. When teachers set up an account, they are offered to start right away with our suggestions but are able to fully customize their settings at any time so that they can fit their classroom needs.

AI-based HealthTech app
An app that aims to bring patients relief from postoperative pain.
The vision of our client from the HealthTech industry was to bring their patients relief from postoperative pain with their innovative idea. The system enables modern methods of treating postoperative pain in hospital conditions after laparotomy and laparoscopy by means of transdermal stimulation of acupuncture points with the system of wireless electro-stimulators.
The system works by stimulating sensory receptors to release endogenous opioids, which then bind to opioid receptors. As a result, their activation causes an analgesic effect in the patient’s body.
The client asked us to create an application aimed at wireless, concurrent service, control, and configuration of medical devices using the Bluetooth Low Energy standard (up to 4 devices simultaneously!) used for transdermal therapeutic electrostimulation.
As a result of our cooperation, we have created a mobile application for Android based on native technologies, using the Kotlin language.

Dinga.ai
An easy-to-use web application and a powerful CLI client with a simple interface.
Technology: Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Vue.js.
Dinga.ai is a French start-up in the AI industry. Our task was to realize the Web GUI to provide a friendly interface for users and the CLI client to facilitate the automation. CLI (Command Line Interface) client is a tool to communicate with the application via the terminal). Both applications were supposed to make it easier for customers to use our client’s product.

A mobile app to help treat spine-related ailments
Receive a customized therapy session that consists of properly selected rehabilitation exercises to be performed at home.
Technology: Flutter, Ruby on Rails
The product we developed is a mobile application that allows users to select appropriate exercises for back ailments. The idea behind this application is to help patients in a similar way to visiting the physiotherapist’s office. Based on a proprietary algorithm, the patient, after performing a few diagnostic exercises and filling out a questionnaire, receives an individually customized therapy session, which consists of appropriately selected rehabilitation exercises to be performed at home. During the prepared therapy session, it’s able to monitor the patient’s condition and their reported ailment, so that if their condition worsens, we offer them a new more tailored therapy session.

Mobile app that helps users implement healthy life
A mobile app that supports people in implementing and maintaining healthy life habits.
Technology: React Native, PHP, Flutter.
The product we developed for our client is an app that helps people improve their lives by developing healthy habits and daily routines that positively affect their physical and mental health. Users can set up their own habits and routines they would like to develop. Another option is to use programs offered by the app, which are based on the problems the user is currently facing, mental and physical health, goals, and motivations. The application also provides premium content like coaching sessions and courses that helps users build new habits and progress even faster, show new ways to live healthily and explain how to implement these habits and routines in their lives. This digital product is more than just a habit tracker – it’s a personal lifestyle coach. Using behavioral science, the app helps the users build a routine of lasting habits in a way that works for them.
As a software development provider, our task was to create a user-friendly solution that delivers everything needed for personal development like dedicated programs, and audio and video content based on a subscription model. From a technical perspective, the application was built on the basis of PHP (API) and React Native (Mobile app). Using cross-platform technology allowed us to create Android and iOS applications using a single codebase, which significantly reduced the costs needed for mobile development and maintenance. For animation, we used Reanimated, which is more powerful than the animated API from React Native.
Despite a very complex architecture, we managed to create a powerful and functional application with a significant focus on user experience. A product that encourages its community to incorporate new, positive habits into their daily lives must be intuitive and user-friendly – these goals we successfully achieved.

Web application for medical research
A web-based application designed to allow platform users to buy medical tests easily.
Technology: Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, WordPress.
Our client is a company from the healthcare sector providing medical services. They asked us to build a digital product for them – a web-based application designed to allow platform users to buy medical tests easily. Its goal is to provide comprehensive customer service, but also to provide a simple order processing system for administrators and laboratories.
The application provides the highest quality of customer service. For this purpose, we upgraded the app with Amazon S3 storage service, which provides storage and easy access to any amount of data. For efficient communication, we added Mailgun, a service that allows sending emails to users. Mailgun replaces its own SMTP server. For sending SMS, Twilio is in charge. An additional solution we have introduced for the application is downloading the coordinates of the collection points using Google Maps API. This way, the Google Maps API can determine the coordinates of collection points based on the address.
The result of our cooperation is an easy-to-use and intuitive web application for the simple purchase of medical tests. The application helps to organize one’s results and enables efficient communication between the person being tested and the laboratories.

Family Section
A platform connecting cooking families with potential customers.
Family Section arose from the needs of the inhabitants of Saudi Arabia where the sale of homemade food is very popular. The application is intended to act as a platform for families to share the dishes cooked by them with their potential customers. The families can add self-made meals there and the consumers, on the other hand, can easily find those households in their neighborhood. Until then, such advertisements could only be found on Facebook. It makes our client’s solution very innovative.
The final app was intended to be used mostly on mobile devices. For that reason, we decided to use Flutter and Ruby on Rails. Thanks to Flutter we were able to create the app both for iOS and Android platforms, and the fast RoR allowed us to keep up with the pace of the frontend development.
As the outcome of our collaboration with the Family Section, we have created an MVP for a mobile app available on Google Play and AppStore. The platform is a perfect medium between the families preparing meals and the consumers. The most unique in the idea of our client is the fact that it’s not a typical delivery app working with restaurants. Here the customers can order food that is not available anywhere else!

RTYST
A social video application that helps aspiring artists build an engaged fanbase, collaborate, and compete for fame.
RTYST is a mobile application with video streaming technology, helping aspiring artists share audio-visual content while competing in contests. You can think of it as TikTok for aspiring artists around the world. The idea was born from the heart of novice creators who wanted to share their talent, build an engaged fanbase, find peers to collaborate with, create traction in their industry and generate income. In contrast to traditional social media promoting existing, career-advanced stars, the RTYST platform supports those who are at the beginning of their journey. This social network platform is a place where every artist can develop their talent: from singers, musicians, and dancers to comedians or magicians. Each of them can perfect their creations thanks to the built-in features enabling users to sing over beats, create and edit videos, add sound and video filters, and choose from a selection of instrumentals and sound effects.
The goal of our client was to create a digital space for talented people that combines creation and competition. The RTYST application perfectly reflects these values. Thanks to the platform we have developed together, young talents have many benefits, such as:
- wide range of ready-made beats and samples,
- opportunities of taking part in contests and challenges – to receive rewards or just to have fun,
- the ability to promote their final videos on various social media channels,
- creating and discovering new content from the field of their interests,
- gaining recognition from labels and sponsors,
- collaborating with other talented people,
- receiving feedback from others based on ratings,
- mastering their skills thanks to the elements of gamification,
- being part of a bigger community of artists.

Pacific
Exchanging money while caring for the environment
The application serves users to exchange money while caring for the environment. Pacific allows users to order cards that are eco-friendly because they created them from recovered ocean-bound plastic. With every use, the company donates 0.1% of every transaction with this card to cleanse the seas and oceans. The mobile application that we helped to develop serves to make money transfers between users and currency conversion.
Our goal was to make the application as easy to use as possible while maintaining the highest possible safety level – it’s a fintech product all in all.
To develop both iOS and Android mobile applications we used the Flutter framework. Moreover, Java was used for the back-end development of the digital product.
After several months of intense cooperation with the Pacific team, we were able to deliver functional mobile applications developed with Flutter for both main systems – Android and iOS. Users now are able to transfer money while carrying for the oceans’ environment. We love such cooperations that bring digital solutions while improving the offline world!

Cadi59
Mobile and web applications for golfers and club professionals
Our challenge was to develop functional MVPs of mobile and web applications. The mobile app is for use by club members and is the recipient of what was created by the club owner in the web part. The web app serves as a system for managing the entire golf club. The users of the app are to be managers or owners of these clubs.
The server part of the application was written in Ruby language using the Ruby on Rails framework. Ruby language is interpreted, fully object-oriented and dynamically typed. Moreover, it is flexible and in connection with the Ruby on Rails framework, it allows for the implementation of both very simple and complex solutions. The version of Ruby used in the backend application is 3.0. The mobile app for the Android and iOS platforms was prepared in Flutter using Clean Architecture and Bloc/Cubit state management.
Finally, after 6 months, our MVPs of web and mobile applications were ready and we could start tests with users! We really enjoyed getting to know the golfer’s life, their needs, and their challenges. It was a fascinating experience and we hope to continue our cooperation with Cadi59 founders!

Lucrosus Capital
A crowdfunding platform, that empowers individuals with benefits previously beyond their reach through LUCA coins
The goal of the Lucrosus Capital was to develop an MVP that consisted of a dedicated web and mobile application that would allow its users to acquire LUCA tokens and participate in the governance of the fund.
The task of our team was to service the case holistically and develop the web applications powered by the backend delivered by the client. The main challenge here was to integrate the existing solution with the blockchain infrastructure which was the core of the product. It enabled the acquisition of coins and governance of the decisions that drive the fund.
Back-end was developed mainly on the client’s side, but our Senior Backend Developer supported the project with the usage of Ruby on Rails technology. In the front, we adopted such frameworks as React, Redux, and Next.js in order to meet the client’s requirements.
Our dedicated team played a huge part in creating the Lucrosus product that meets the highest international standards as well as in developing an MVP that will help them scale their business. The best measure of a project’s success is the counter of sold tokens and the return on investment.

Eko-logis
Web and mobile apps for disposal of waste and debris in containers
The Eko-logis offers disposal of waste and debris in containers, as well as sells and purchases the aggregates. The client approached us with a need for a custom development service – a CRM system that will increase the efficiency of the company’s management.
The mobile app is written in MVVM with coroutines and flows. The local database is in Room, a single source of truth in repositories from DB (some command & query). We also used a Navigation Component as well as Viewbinding. CI is developed on GitlabCI with detekt and Kotlin. CD is on Firebase App Distribution delivered by Fastlane.
The web application was developed with the use of Electron JS, Vue.js, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq. The set of tools was adjusted according to the needs of our clients. The design was delivered in Figma, which is one of the favorite tools of our UX/UI Designers.
As a result, we developed two functional digital products for internal use for Eko-logis. The applications work well, optimize the workflow and allow to save time, money, and resources which is every entrepreneur’s dream! We had a pleasant experience cooperating with a local business and hope to see more projects in the future with such clients! All in all, making everyone’s work easier should be a common goal for everyone!

OTC desk for worldwide institutions
A platform for settling cryptocurrency transactions
Our client is a global company combining the financial industry with digital securities by harnessing the potential of blockchain technology. They put the safety of crypto transactions in the 1st place.
The product we developed is an OTC (over-the-counter) desk working with institutional clients. Shortly speaking, OTC enables buyers and sellers to trade their crypto assets in a direct and easy way. The goal of the platform is to make it possible for organizations to quickly settle their crypto transactions in a possibly safest way and environment. Another important feature of it is the opportunity of conducting both OTC and P2P transactions directly between the customers. That makes it quite unique among other similar products. Ultimately, the platform is intended to serve 50-500 clients.
Developing a platform committed to such vulnerable matters as OTC securities or P2P transactions wasn’t an easy task and required from us a high level of expertise and carefulness in selecting solutions to implement. Integration of services enabling safe customer operations was also quite a challenge. As a result, we contributed to creating a platform generating a turnover of about several million USD per month. The significant role of the platform is providing support for BTC, LTC, BCH, and USD cryptocurrencies.
Ultimately, the company’s plans for the future are ambitious. Shortly, you can expect the introduction of mobile apps and support for more assets. Can’t wait!

Nine's
E-commerce website for sports restaurant
The Nine’s is a sports restaurant. A place situated in the historic 19th-century Brewery – the heart of the Warsaw Breweries. It was recently opened and encourages healthy sports emotions on 4 floors. Behind Nine’s idea stands Robert Lewandowski, Professional Football Player and Founder of the restaurant.
Our task was to create a website that reflects the place’s image and atmosphere, as well as allows clients to book a table, see the event calendar and buy offered goods.
As a result, we developed highly functional digital products for the use of Nine’s and its clients. Thanks to font delivery from the client, our designer was able to create a beautiful logotype with the characteristic “9”. It looks modern and reflects the brand’s image.
The website works well, cooperating with Nine’s team was efficient and we hope to see more projects in the future with such clients! All in all, when you can encourage a passion for sports, it is always an amazing experience!

Daily activity app for kids
Health app that motivates and rewards kids for healthy behaviors such as walking.
Our client is a start-up that uses the latest technologies and changes the game's rules to promote healthy lifestyle changes for children. They wanted to build a functional app for kids and came to us with their brilliant idea! Their goal was to encourage children to be more active and take more steps daily through a mobile application. It can be used individually by children and groups of children (e.g. schools) to compete against each other to be more active every day. To motivate them even more, the client wanted to showcase training videos on the web application.
The mobile app was developed on Android and iOS and is integrated with the 2 most popular health tracking mobile apps. For backend development, we used Ruby on Rails, and Android and iOS apps were created in the Flutter framework. The web application was developed in Vue, and a website was created using WordPress.
We plan to develop the product further, among the plans is introducing quizzes into a web application, as well as additional achievements for a mobile app. Our client’s goal is to introduce the product to foreign markets and allow international competition between children to take more and more steps and maintain good health.
There are many solutions related to physical activity and medical parameters, but none is using gamification to encourage children to be more active. Well, now there is!

University of Wrocław mobile app
Higher education for students from abroad in Wrocław made easier.
The University of Wrocław is one of the oldest universities in Poland. With its years of experience, interesting courses, and professional staff, the university attracts numerous students from abroad. That is why we were asked to build a mobile application that would help foreign students get the most useful and essential information in one place. One of the crucial pieces of information was The Jungle Book, which we had in paperback. Our goal was to digitize it in the most suitable way for young generations.
The app was developed for Android and iOS operating systems using the Flutter framework. UI and UX design were crucial in this project to organize the data in a user-friendly way. It needed to be as easy to understand as possible for all of the students coming to study at Wrocław from all over the world.
The application is now published on both the Apple Store and the Google Play Store, and the first users have already downloaded it.

Movie streaming platform
A streaming platform with inclusive movies about LGBTQ culture
Our goal was to develop a streaming platform that showcases inclusive movies about LGBT culture. This platform aims to provide a safe space for people, regardless of their orientation, gender, or beliefs, so they can live in harmony with each other and pursue their dreams without struggling with prejudices. It shows movies with characters whose stories can be an inspiration. Often these stories are about ordinary people with typical dreams. And even when something bad happens to them, they can love and be happy as they are.
When we started to choose the technology, Vue.js was chosen rather quickly. First, Vue.js is our specialization at Applover and we feel confident when it comes to this technology. Moreover, it is one of the fastest frameworks which makes it the best idea considering TVs with weak processors. In addition, it is very flexible and easy to develop, which makes it well suited for this type of project. Hence, Vuetify as one of the most advanced UI libraries for Vue was a natural choice.

Marketplace vendor platform
A platform for marketplace owners.
Our client was looking for a trusted IT partner that could develop a platform for marketplace owners. The main purpose was to have one place where vendors could see all the sales data of customers – which goods sell the best, which warehouses need more things to send, and which ones have a full inventory. It was supposed to be simple to use, as vendors from all around the world should be able to easily browse it. After establishing the project’s shared vision, our team was entrusted with the task of designing and developing a platform.
We looked carefully into these needs and managed to deliver the expected technological solutions. The technology we used was Vue.js for front-end development and Ruby on Rails for the back-end side. The client was highly satisfied with how carefully we listened to their needs and suggestions.

Web application for exchanging internal documents and visuals.
One of our clients was a banking institution in Poland. They hired us to provide them with a safe and reliable web application that will allow them to exchange documents and graphics for internal use. The platform’s main goal is to enable the commissioning of multimedia works to authorized users. Digital Product Agency – Team Rental
Extending digital agency team with our mobile developers.
Our client is one of the largest digital product agencies in the United Kingdom with over 12 years of experience in mobile application development for global brands. They hired us for development services for two different mobile applications projects, which mostly consisted of iOS and Android tech stacks.
Although there were many technological aspects as our developers worked on various projects for the agency, we want to focus on our cooperation on this occasion, as this is the biggest fear when it comes to outsourcing. Our experience allows us to say that the tech stack can be adjusted, technological solutions can be tough but there is nothing that would not be possible if you have the right team. And when it comes to the people who are going to be working on the project, it is essential to make them your priority.
We eagerly exchange knowledge by holding joint workshops for departments not related to IT development. The digital product agency saved around 20% of their budget on IT staff as they did not have to employ the team internally, and we were able to expand their team on demand, whenever it was needed.

Digital Transportation System
Public transport made more accessible and easier.
Our intention was to digitalize information for passengers of public transport. The main purpose has been put to make it available and easy to use in practice.
The application was developed using Vue.js 3.0 and TypeScript. These technologies allow us to easily scale the product and connect with the server easily every second without decreasing the app’s performance. The application was created in the same way as web applications are created based on JavaScript. Except here we had one fixed screen size (no RWD) and no user interaction.
The product was developed before the deadline which made the client’s team really satisfied with our work. After just a few small adjustments the application was ready for users. What was most appreciated by our client? The animations created by us, made the app look even more modern and user-friendly.

Rating Captain
AI-driven technology to focus your campaigns on people who are more likely to recommend your business.
Rating Captain is a tool that allows e-commerce stores to manage user feedback, automate customer service and make better business decisions thanks to the use of AI technology. The aim of the project was to redesign the existing product and design a new landing page.
Our main goal for this product design project was to improve the usability of the application. Our designer wanted to develop a consistent visual style for the Rating Captain that will allow the brand to build a stronger position in the market. Moreover, our aim was to create a landing page that will present the Rating Captain as a tool with a wide range of possibilities. One of the tasks of our UX/UI Designer was to design onboarding for the application that will present a product value proposition in a few steps and encourage new users to register an account.
As Rating Captain hired us for UX/UI design services, there was not a technological solution involved. But the whole product design process is interesting and can make it more clear how we work with our clients, no matter the scope of the project. The process kicked off with a meeting with the client to establish the project requirements. The next step was to explore the issue by conducting preliminary research and competition analysis. Then, a UX audit was carried out to detect the product’s problem areas and propose design recommendations. After consulting the client and determining the direction of changes, the wireframes were created. After approval of the mock-ups, mood boards with inspiration for UI were prepared. The next step was to design the visual layer for the application. Finally, the last stage of the work was to create mockups and designs for the landing page.
The client was highly satisfied with the result, especially that it was delivered before the deadline, and we were really content with our cooperation.

Steppie Mobile App
Insurance policy app that rewards users for healthy behaviors such as walking, running, and cycling.
The new application uses a combination of technology and science to benefit both parties (Insurer and Customer) and it is the greatest uniqueness of Steppie’s solution.
The customer gets an insurance policy together with a smart device such as a smartwatch or a mobile app, which allows them to feel the value of the service they have every day. Thanks to this, the customer receives not only a guarantee of protection in the event of damage but the 24/7 protection and self-care. Moreover, thanks to health recommendations and monitoring parameters every day, the insurer takes part in improving the client’s health with the use of gamification elements and rewards. A positive change in lifestyle contributes to the reduction of the probability of civilization diseases, which in terms of the insurer’s long-term business model reduces the costs of insurance activities.

The company of The Ticketing Co was founded in 2006. A platform, which they have created, allows fans of various artistic activities to buy tickets for numerous events such as concerts, festivals or club parties across the United States.
A thorough analysis of the client's needs and ideas was required due to the extensiveness of the project. A series of calls and meetings took place and overall, together we managed to reach a compromise. As soon as The Ticketing Co had approved the colors and mockups of individual screens presented by our UX/UI specialists, we started the development process. We kept on being in touch with the client regularly, solving technical problems, which occurred more frequently during the data transfer to the newly created platform from the previous one. Data included information such as the list of events, registered users, sales data, etc.
The newly created Web platform was written in Vue.js and it is supported by a back-end platform programmed in Node.js. The mobile application was programmed respectively with reliable Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS.

Czysta3.vc website
Venture capital fund that raised millions for various startups and helps businesses scale up.
Czysta3.vc wanted to create a unique website for their niche which could stand out but also present their core values and strategy. They have invested in various companies, including ours. That is why we were happy that they trust us enough to allow us to develop their new website. It was a great opportunity to work with Czysta3.vc in different scope so they could see how we operate with our clients and get a beautiful and functional website from us.
To develop the website we created our own custom theme for WordPress. We used WordPress as CMS because it’s widely known and a very popular feature, so everyone can easily manage the content on the website, including texts, portfolio, contact details, and SEO-related content.
As every WordPress theme, it is developed with PHP, HTML and JS, but this time we used SCSS connection and BEM methodology. We use this combination for most of our front-end projects as it allows us to achieve higher readability and makes the maintenance easier.
Moreover, we optimized every video in terms of page performance and it’s page speed, which is so crucial especially for mobile versions. Our UX/UI designer took care of the emotional and visual design. Choosing blue, grey and black was the best choice as it’s consistent with the brand’s identity and symbolizes trust, elegance as well as high quality. These colors together we found to be a perfect match for a venture capital website.

The app helps you get in touch with over 65 employees, lawyers, and notaries, and what’s most important – schedule a meeting with every person in the firm. This is a huge improvement for the firm as it saves time and money!

Signium web app
HR services, Top Management Executive Search assignments for C-level and upper management positions in the CEE region.
The web application was created for internal use, and the end-user has many of the available functions, easily accessible on just a few clicks. We used a limited number of colors while designing the interface so that the product itself helps and doesn’t distract while working. We provided Signium with full technical specifications which will allow us in the future to analyze the application and develop it further.
Signium has always been taking care of GDPR compliance, but the new system ensures data security and more effective tracking of consents to the processing of personal data. Now they can conduct searches at top executive and upper management levels even faster!

Slock.it web app
Rent and share anything with the USN, the first decentralized application.
Slock.it gave us a task to bring a web application to life. We have started our cooperation with workshops, so we could establish the needs of slock.it correctly and assess all the tasks. Our project manager made sure that every aspect of the product is agreed with the technology, client’s needs, and user preferences.
In spite of challenges that came with blockchain technology and advanced library created by the client, our skilled crew released the product with success and within the determined deadlines. Slock.it could promote a shared economy and its blockchain-based product with its new web application!

Amino app
Training made simple. Book your personal trainer anywhere anytime.
Despite the distance between us, the whole communication process with the client went so smoothly that after the delivery of the iOS app we had been asked to continue the collaboration. So, consequently, we designed the Android version of the app, fully reaching Amino’s business assumption. Now everyone, no matter if they are an iOS or Android user, can easily book their personal trainer. No excuses.
However, our relationship with Amino did not end there. We worked also on more recent improvements. We modified and simplified some structural and aesthetic details to make the app even easier to use than before. Together with the client, aiming for the best user experience possible, we created Amino’s currency system. We also upgraded the booking process and payment systems management.
The app had been enriched with the Fitness Consultation service, thanks to which the customer may discuss his training plan with a qualified personal trainer.
To develop the back-end and the administration panel of the application we chose the Ruby on Rails framework. It is worth mentioning that our highly skilled developers had to overcome some obstacles; the biggest was connection and integration with the payment systems operating in Dubai.
Our UX designer took care also of the emotional and visual design, choosing black as the dominant color to symbolize power and elegance as well as high quality; and orange as the accent color to emphasize positive energy and determination. These two colors together are the perfect match for a fitness-related application.
Despite some unexpected difficulties, we kept to the deadlines and released the two apps within the scheduled time!

Foodsi app
How to create a new trend and help the world by contributing to decreasing food waste.
Despite the fact that the cooperation with Foodsi was purely being processed remotely, we managed to successfully get the application through the development process. Despite difficulties with the Android app’s compatibility, thanks to our skilled crew, both apps were successfully published in application stores within the determined deadlines.
Foodsi started its activity on April 1, 2019, cooperating with only three restaurants in Warsaw. Currently, they have established collaboration with more than 150 restaurants all over Poland including Warsaw, Katowice, Wrocław, Poznań and Gdańsk and their number keeps on growing. We hope Foodsi enjoys the taste of success for as long as possible!

LabPlus app
LabPlus lets users buy and schedule medical tests, without waiting in lines.
Technology: iOS Android Java Swift
Mobile applications have been successfully published in shops and the number of its users is gradually growing.
LabPlus offers over 1000 types of specialist tests, which can be performed in numerous laboratories located throughout Poland. It is possible to search it by name, type, or location. It is also possible to compare the costs of tests in different establishments. The results of the examination are safely stored in the LabPlus database; the application requires the introduction of a security code every time it gets opened.
The product has been appreciated not only by application users but also by the National Centre for Research and Development. This is how LabPlus received funding for its further development. And this is a healthy way to be!

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of Inngen, a company in the health sector that provides medical services like a web-based application allowing users to buy medical tests easily. As a med-tech company, Inngen's goal is to deliver comprehensive customer service, but also to offer a simple order processing system for administrators and laboratories.
For what projects/services did your company hire Applover, and what were your goals?
We chose Applover as a software development provider to help us build an IT platform allowing users to buy medical tests. Our main goal was to develop a functional MVP version of the application.
Our MVP consists of several modules to perform such tasks as checking the store's offerings, making test purchases, checking the history of your results, reading articles about tests, monitoring customers and their orders, managing laboratories and tests (products in the store), managing the capacity of the facility, managing collection points, defining tests performed by a given laboratory, handling ordered tests (changing status, entering results).
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We got a recommendation to cooperate with Applover. However, we also looked at their positive Clutch reviews and portfolio. We were surprised by how smooth the communication between us was. Furthermore, we really liked their proactive approach.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We started our cooperation with extensive workshops that helped us in developing the final concept of individual modules and select key functionalities for MVP. Then UX/UI Designers provided us with the first mock-ups, and we started the development process. We knew the progress at every stage of the project, we also had the demo presentations of the web application functionality.
What is worth mentioning, Applover suggested and implemented several enhancements during the development process. The team added Mailgun, a service that allows sending emails to users, and Twilio for SMS communication. For smooth transactions, Applover used PayNow, a payment gateway provided by mBank. PayNow allows paying via quick transfers, BLIK, and card payments.
An additional solution that was introduced for the application is downloading the coordinates of the collection points using Google Maps API. This way, the Google Maps API can determine the coordinates of collection points based on the address and indicate the nearest points for the patient.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The core team contains 2 Vue.js Developers, 1 WordPress Developer, 2 Ruby on Rails Developers, a UX/UI Designer, a QA, and a Project Manager. 8 people in total.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
During the project, there were no serious complications. The product was delivered on time. During the process, we were shown a demo that presented the results of the Applover’s work. Every month we got a detailed report on the functionalities developed, so we knew exactly what was going on in the project.
Our product is now easy-to-use and contains intuitive panels for the user, administrator, and laboratory worker, as well as an ecommerce module and landing page. The application is now fully functional and is prepared for a release! We are also advised by the team what functionalities would be a ‘nice-to-have’ in the further development process.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
After a few meetings with the project team, we were able to work out a communication system that suited us and Applover. Regular messages via Slack, frequent calls with the team, and a detailed report every month gave us the feeling that we left our project in good hands, and that we could always be up-to-date with the progress of work.
Despite the fact that our cooperation was remote, there were no problems communicating with each other online, via calls, e-mails, Jira, or messages on Slack. The team was highly engaged in our project, and they responded to our requests almost immediately. The Project Manager was at our disposal almost 24/7.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What I liked the most about working with Applover is that they are passionate about their work and devote to it 100%. Both their technical and communication skills are at the highest level. I gained peace of mind, entrusting them with my project. The team was extremely engaged in the project - they advised on many aspects and acted as Product Owners.
They saw and understood how various enhancements influence the different functionality, what were the risks, and how to mitigate them. What’s more important, Applover’s team did everything, so the end-user was guided from start to finish through all application paths as smoothly as possible.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I don’t see any area for improvement. Everything was fine.

MVP Dev for AI Startup
“Applover did a good job delivering everything we asked for from a specifications standpoint.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and president of an early-stage AI and SaaS startup.
What challenge were you trying to address with Applover?
We engaged Applover to help us develop an MVP.
What was the scope of their involvement?
First, we met with Applover for a workshop to plan out the project before writing the specifications. Since this was a fixed-price project, we set expectations for the deliverables and discussed the specifications in detail before Applover started doing any work.
Once we communicated the requirements, we tasked them with creating two key deliverables: a physical UI, and a client interface. They developed the UI from scratch and worked with our existing open-source framework, Occam, to make the application more technical for the client interface. They also integrated our web application’s backend with Google Cloud to ensure that users could use the application securely.
The web application allows users to upload data from their desktops. Once they’ve uploaded the data, it gets sent to our server and then to our web application through a backend API. Since the team implemented everything in Google Cloud, customers can use the web application to add new users or create admin accounts to control access levels for each user.
What is the team composition?
We worked with developers from Applover.
How did you come to work with Applover?
I found Applover through a recommendation from a relative. After reviewing their website and reviews on Clutch, I decided to move forward with the partnership.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested €25,000 (approximately $26,000 USD) in the partnership with Applover.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with Applover from July–October 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Applover did a good job delivering everything we asked for from a specifications standpoint. Our initial workshop was very useful, and overall, they generated significant value for the price. I was very happy with the results.
How did Applover perform from a project management standpoint?
Even though we faced challenges, Applover managed to deliver the MVP within the fixed price we agreed to. They communicated with us daily via Slack, and we were pleased with their responsiveness. We used Google Workspace and GitHub to manage the project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was impressed by the quality of Applover’s developers. They didn’t just do what I asked, they also proposed solutions and contributed to our project in a meaningful way.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The project took longer than expected, but that didn’t impact us negatively because we were more concerned with the specifications than the timeline.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Applover offers two types of pricing: fixed price or time and materials. I recommend taking advantage of the fixed price option because Applover will deliver the project according to your specifications and budget.

Web Dev for Financial Literacy Program
"They were very quick to understand our vision and passion for that vision."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CTO of a company that teaches financial literacy to K–12 students, while also helping teachers with classroom management.
What challenge were you trying to address with Applover?
We operated off a fairly bare-bones web app MVP for our first year and we’re ready to transition to a more robust setup, both in terms of our team and our solution. The goal for the work with Applover was to revise our MVP from a solution that focused on individual classrooms to one that could benefit entire schools.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started off with some workshops that allowed Applover to learn, in-depth, what we were looking for. They even came in with some pre-research done on our competitors. After a few visioning conversations, their UI/UX team created several mockups that we provided feedback on.
The final solution is comprised of two platforms: a teacher side and student side, and they are integrated together. In terms of technologies, Applover utilizes PostgreSQL, React, and Python.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with everyone on their team: their CTO, several business development resources, four UI/UX specialists, two frontend engineers, two backend engineers, and a project manager. In total, we’ve interacted with around 20 people. They’ve also assigned us a business manager who advises us on how the technology can support our business goals.
How did you come to work with Applover?
They were actually recommended by another person within the edtech space. We received maybe five different recommendations, and after some preliminary interviews with them and Applover, it was clear Applover was super professional and timely, as well as willing to work within our time constraints; the app had to be ready before the beginning of the school year.
We were on a pretty tight deadline, and they seemed more than up to the task.
How much have you invested with them?
The total cost so far is around $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since April 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve been able to transition around 10,000 teachers and students to their appropriate platform. Retention numbers are still incoming, but we do know that we’ve onboarded around 80% of our old active users onto the site.
Feedback from teachers has been amazing. We did a lot of work on the whole look of the app, improving its navigation, usability, and ease of use. The same is true of our feedback from students. We’re also pleased that while it’s easy to use, it’s not so childish that it’s unrealistic. At the end of the day, the app is designed to enhance financial literacy, mostly through skills and experience. The app is designed like an online banking app to familiarize students with that world as much as possible. Everyone has reacted very positively.
How did Applover perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re always there to answer our questions. Applover is great about meeting deadlines and communication, which allows us to ensure features are prioritized correctly at any point. They’re very flexible with us. Their realistic view of our timeline has also helped us trust that know how long things will take and if we can add anything else.
We mostly communicate with our assigned project manager, as well as their whole team via Slack. Notion helps us aggregate our feedback as well. Any time we’ve suggested a new tool, they’ve been quick to start using it alongside us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were very quick to understand our vision and passion for that vision in the beginning. We could tell immediately that the decisions they were making on the front- and backends were very well informed by our website and users.
We’d worked with another team in the past, but it felt like we had to hold their hands through everything. We’ve had complete trust in Applover, however, as they’ve put in so much work to understand what we’re trying to do. All their suggestions and changes are right on the mark. We have a true partnership with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
If there’s something we need to update later on, they’re always happy to do so. No project goes off without any hiccups, but Applover has been super accommodating.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Focus on communicating your goals and who your company is, but also focus on trusting that Applover can provide valuable insight. Lay everything out to them in the worksheet they provide at the outset.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO & Founder of Lucrosus Capital, the first decentralized Venture Capital providing institutional opportunities to individuals. It is a DAO Venture Capital that empowers individuals with benefits previously beyond their reach through LUCA coins.
Thanks to LUCA, investors can acquire tokens of promising projects at lower prices than the market average, allowing them to stay ahead of everyone else. Such a feature provides significantly higher profits, combined with the trust and credibility guaranteed by Lucrosus Capital. Full-stack support and personal involvement differentiate us from other Launchapads and VCs.
For what projects/services did your company hire Applover?
In the first place, we needed Applover as a consultant. We had workshops that helped us analyze and improve the design. After that, based on those upgrades, Applover started developing a crowdfunding platform, to achieve our business goals.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We found Applover on the Internet, they have positive Clutch reviews and several other projects for fintech, so we asked them for the offer. The team was highly communicative, we liked their approach, and the pricing was reasonable so we decided to start the cooperation.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The main goal was to build an innovative, modern crowdfunding platform, that empowers individuals with benefits previously beyond their reach through LUCA coins. The system allows the LUCA tokens for public sale, storing of user data, and the number of tokens they have purchased. The token appears only in the created virtual base, outside the blockchain (in the initial phase).
In the next phase, the system was expanded with the payment of due tokens to the wallet address provided by the user (blockchain). The sale of tokens takes place in phases 1 to 100. We started with 1 million units in phase one. The price of the token at the start is $ 0.026. In the following phases, the token price is systematically growing. We are currently at the stage of selling tokens from the 27th phase and we go on dynamically.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We have started with a group of 4
- The Greatest Ever PM - Ania,
- The Incredible Back-end expert - Radoslaw,
- The Awesome Frontend Specialist - Lukasz
- and a Perfect Graphic Designer - Patryk.
However, later on, we grew to
- 2 back-end specialists,
- 3 front-end experts,
- QA,
- a Graphic Designer,
- and a PM ofc.
And we’re constantly developing the platform.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The best measure of a project's success is the counter of sold tokens and the number of attracted users worldwide. You can follow these results up-to-date on the Lucrosus Capital Home Page
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Both sides (customer and dev team) tried to develop the best model of cooperation, comfortable for both parties and, above all, allowing the most optimal implementation of the project goals. We checked several solutions and workflows to find the one that works best and guarantees: good communication, quick response time, good, realistic planning, visible progress, and delivery of new functionalities on time and of the highest quality.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I liked that they were always honest about everything - the offer, pricing, and time estimation. The team was highly responsive and reacted dynamically to the market needs. I find it really impressive how many experts are on the team, their technical knowledge and experience are stunning.
