Please describe your company and your position there.
I work as the Sales Director for a Norwegian company. The owner of the company has a broad ski background and challenged me to find a development company that could make his ideas come true.
For what projects/services did your company hire The App Ideas?

What were your goals for this project?
The goals with the project is to make the prefered SKI app for the global market. As the owner of the company sees it, there is a gap in the app market for this unique ski app. We hope to have 1 million downloads within a period of 2 years.
How did you select The App Ideas?
I did a major search in the jungle of all the different APP development companies. What caought my attention was the service and friendlyness that the founder of The App Ideas showed allready in the first communication
. After some meetings I also understood that the founder and his company has great experience and also gave great mentoring in how the solution should be in order to deliver the best possible app on the market.
Describe the project in detail.
Due to confidensiality and based on the app is still in an ongoing development phase i applogize for not being able to share all details. But the key is to get a better ski experience when having and using the Ski App, regarldess of age and where in the world you are.
What was the team composition?
From our side we are to people involved and from the vendors part, first they were two and now we are working with different people in the team based on the task to be solved. At all times the founders is our contact person. This gives excellent workflow and understanding.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
After a few days prior from sharing the ideas about the APP and paying the start up agreed upon cost, The App Ideas made a very nice presentation of all the pages in the APP using video. This way we could see the presentation many times, and see how it will all work. It made and makes our work from the customer side, much much easier and better.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The last years I have worked with different development companies across the globe, and I have never experienced a faster delivere than The App Ideas has delivered. I have allready recomended the company to other people.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They put service, quality on delivery and speed on delivery to the best level as possible.
Are there any areas for improvement?
At this movement we have not seen any needs for any improvements. The company has handled excellent the difference in time zones, and the payment terms have always worked.

I am a consultant and a cofounder of a software consulting firm based out of California. We primarily work with startups and small size businesses to create Web and Mobile Applications for them. We also consult in the areas of SEO and Social Media Marketing.
For what projects/services did your company hire The App Ideas?
We hired App Ideas to build us a dating and relationship building project we working on for a while.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to have our prototypes completed and create the codebase for our application. We were also looking for a vendor who can guide us with marketing efforts.
How did you select this vendor?
Our management team sat together to locate the right vendors in the space of mobile app development based upon their portfolio of apps and websites developed. We selected App Ideas based on their work accomplished and their client testimonials.
Describe the project in detail.
Once we selected App Ideas as our vendor, we had a series of audio and video interviews with the founder as well as key technical teams. They performed initial requirements gathering and provided us with a detailed estimate of the project within less than a week. After we decided upon our approach, the prototypes were created by the firm within few weeks. They made necessary tweaks in the design without hesitation for more than a month as per our changing requirements. As of now, the development is underway. However, they release a new build every week for us to test with. This help us reiterate the design on an ongoing basis.
What was the team composition?
Our only point of contact was the founder of The App Ideas. However, the project is being handled by a designated project manager and a development lead. Apart from them, to my knowledge, there are two backend developers and a designated QA team assigned to our project.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
A detailed project proposal with all nitty-gritty was shared within less than a week. Prototypes and designs were revised as many times we wanted before the development began. The first version with some basic features were released for testing with the first week of development.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Weekly builds provided by the project manager assigned to our project were very effective. Apart from that, the founder kept in touch with our team on a continuous on-call basis. He was always available regardless of the time on the clock.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The fact that the company has real testimonials from actual clients and an abundance of software built under its portfolio were very impressive for us to start with. Apart from this, the founder communicated extremely well with our team regarding every detail of the project. They added more value to the project by adding additional functionalities to the app at no additional cost to us.
Are there any areas for improvement?
There is nothing we can say that's been left out. The overall project execution has been excellent so far.

I am a postgraduate research scholar conducting computer simulation of blood flow for patients treated with stent to unclog the blocked arteries. I've also founded the medical startup Triphastic.
For what projects/services did your company hire The App Ideas?
We engaged The App Ideas to help develop Android and IOS mobile apps so that our collaborators in other countries can install the apps and use it as a trial to test the usefully of our proposed predictor as a clinical screening tool.
What were your goals for this project?
The goals for this project was to provide a simple user interface so that measurement data taken from ultrasound scanner and blood pressure data taken from Ankle Brachial Index measurements can be entered by the users into the smart phone to enable the app to perform calculation and provide prediction and proposed screening outcome.
How did you select this vendor?
The vendor was selected based on reviews and costs as outlined in PeoplePerHour portal.
Describe the project in detail.
Peak Systolic Velocity Predictor app specifications:
- Introduction: Peak Systolic Velocity (PSV) Predictor is an app for use as a clinical screening tool for patients who have undergone endovascular treatment with Covered Endovascular Reconstruction of Aortoiliac Bifurcation (CERAB) stents. This app will take geometric dimensions and blood flow velocities from ultrasound scanning as well as Ankle Brachial Index readings as input. The app will calculate the predicted maximum velocity and together with the ultrasound measured maximum velocity, it will determine whether the readings are falling inside or outside of acceptable range and deemed to be “Normal” or “Abnormal.”
- Input Parameters from Ultrasound Scanner: 2.1 Infra-renal velocity, PSVin (m/s) 2.2 Infra-renal aortic diameter, D1 (mm) 2.3 Right Iliac Artery Diameter, D2 (mm) 2.4 Left Iliac Artery Diameter, D3 (mm)h 2.5 Maximum PSV within flow domain, PSVmax(m/s)
- Input Parameters from Ankle Brachial Index Measurements: 3.1 Right Arm Systolic Pressure, RASPR(mmHg) 3.2 Left Arm Systolic Pressure, LASPL(mmHg) 3.3 Right Posterior Tibial Systolic Pressure, PTSPR (mmHg) 3.4 Left Posterior Tibial Systolic Pressure, PTSPL (mmHg) 3.5 Right Dorsalis Pedis Systolic Pressure, DPSPR (mmHg) 3.6 Left Dorsalis Pedis Systolic Pressure, DPSPL (mmHg)
- Calculations: ABIL = max(PTSPL,DPSPL)/max(LASP,RASP) ABIR = max(PTSPR,DPSPR)/max(LASP,RASP) Predicted PSV = max(D22/D32,D32/D22)·max(ABIL/ABIR,ABIR/ABIL)·(0.684 + 1.461PSVin − 0.894·( (D22+D32)/D12). If (Predicted PSV/PSVmax>0.85) and (Predicted PSV/PSVmax0<1.15) then “Normal” else “Abnormal 5 User Interface User will be prompted to enter data as in section 2 and 3 above. The outcome will be displayed as shown in section 4 above.
For input data in section 2, PSVin: 0.1..3m/s User will have two options to enter the PSVin data. a) Manually type in the value, the app will adjust to one decimal point b) Pull down menu bar with default 1 m/s and increment or decrement of 0.1m/s in the scroll box minimum 0.1 m/s and maximum 3.0 m/s D1: 8..50mm
User will have two options to enter D1 data. a) Manually type in the value, the app will adjust to one decimal point b) A pull down menu bar with default 15 mm and increment or decrement of 0.1mm in the scroll box minimum 8 mm and maximum 50 mm D2 and D3: 3..20mm
User will have two options to enter D2 and D3 data. a) Manually type in the value, the app will adjust to one decimal point b) A pull down menu bar with default 8 mm and increment or decrement of 0.1mm in the scroll box minimum 3 mm and maximum 20 mm PSVmax: 0.5..5m/s
User will have two options to enter the PSVmax data. a) Manually type in the value, the app will adjust to one decimal point b) Pull down menu bar with default 1 m/s and increment or decrement of 0.1m/s in the scroll box minimum 0.5 m/s and maximum 5.0 m/s
For input data in section 3, All systolic pressure data: 90..250mmHg User will have two options to enter Systolic Pressure data. a) Manually type in the value, the app will adjust to zero decimal point b) Pull down menu bar with default 120 mmHg and increment or decrement of 1mmHg in the scroll box minimum 90 mmHg and maximum 250mmHg
For option 1, the app will display error message if any user data entered falls outside the range and the app will prompt the user to re-enter the correct data. Please format all input data to one decimal point for section 2 diameter and velocity data and zero decimal for section 3 systolic pressure data.
For output, please make the data point i.e. measured PSV on x-axis and predicted PSV on y-axis blinks on the graph. Likewise the word “Normal” flashes on the screen if the data point fall inside the error zone and “Abnormal” flashes if outside the zone followed by “Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) Recommended!”.

Website Development for a Forest School
"The App Ideas gave me exactly what I wanted. They delivered everything on time and to our specifications."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the founder of Tree House Learning, which is a forest school located in London.
What challenge were you trying to address with The App Ideas?
Our website had been hacked. The hackers took over some of the links and redirected them to other sites. The website obviously needed to be made secure, and to be restored to the way it was.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The App Ideas supported me to get an SSL certificate and then apply it to the site. I used the Wayback Machine internet archive to show them what the site used to look like last year. Then they did some WordPress development work to reinstate the pages as they were, and removed the links that were made by the hackers to outside sites.
What is the team composition?
I started talking to a business consultant. Once the project began, Chirag (CEO, The App Ideas) was my sole point of contact.
How did you come to work with The App Ideas?
They reached out to me on LinkedIn and I decided to take a chance on them. At this stage, my requirements were relatively minor. This was a good test of their skills and to see whether they would stick to their word. Plus, they agreed on a low fee.
How much have you invested with them?
I only spent £100 (approximately $125 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
The work was done over the first week of July 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The App Ideas gave me exactly what I wanted. They delivered everything on time and to our specifications. I knew what the site used to look like, so there was no subjectivity with the ask. They effectively delivered the site in exactly the same form that it used to be, with the addition of the SSL certificate and all of the proper links restored.
How did The App Ideas perform from a project management standpoint?
It wasn’t a big project but The App Ideas did a good job. We had an opening Skype chat to talk through the project, which was relatively short and sweet. Chirag used WhatsApp to communicate with me throughout the project. It was quite simple because I wasn't trying to communicate a new design, which might have been a harder task. I was able to show them a picture of how the site used to look, and they returned it to that version.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The speed with which they completed the project was impressive. Also, it's always great to not spend a lot of money. There was one point in the project where they thought they had finished but they hadn't. I pointed that out to them, and The App Ideas was quick to rectify the situation. Even if our expectations weren't aligned, they default to “the customer is always right.” They completed the project and didn't charge me any more money. They've given me the confidence now to invest with them over additional projects.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It's always tricky when you're dealing with an offshore team. The App Ideas didn’t sign a contract with me for this project. While that’s fine for a project of this size, there's a level of professionalism that would be required for larger projects. Clients are going to want the confidence of a contract if they're spending $1,000 or $10,000 or $100,000. They should consider tweaking their engagement methodology to be less relaxed.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My experience so far has been very good, so my advice is to build a relationship. You can feel confident that their work is precise. However, I've not yet given them anything particularly complicated so I don't know the full spectrum of their abilities. Certainly, they have the skills to handle a simple WordPress design.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the founder and CEO of Great Web Ventures, a software firm.
What challenge were you trying to address with Theappideas?
We needed more development resources in order to build our app within the 12-month timeline.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Theappideas is converting our virtual raffle concept into a functioning app. They integrated a ton of cutting-edge features, including a QR scanner, a vendor marketplace, a messenger system, contact lists, and multiple user paths. Since completing the Android app, they have been working on the iOS and web app.
What is the team composition?
They have ten developers on their team.
How did you come to work with Theappideas?
We found them through Clutch, which made the hiring process fast and simple.
How much have you invested with them?
We have spent less than $50,000 for their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
They began working on the app in April 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The Android app that they built is completely stable, so we’re very confident in their ability to deliver similar success with the iOS and web versions.
How did Theappideas perform from a project management standpoint?
Our teams work exceptionally well together. Despite our long-distance partnership, they maintain frequent communication and respond to all of our needs. We are pleased that they are honoring the schedule and budget requirements.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Theappideas has extensive experience in web development, but they are never condescending when explaining their procedures to our team. They are incredibly easy to work with, and they deliver fantastic results.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We have not experienced any issues so far.

For what projects/services did your company hire The App Ideas?
We hired them for redesign for simplification of read and use.
How did you select The App Ideas and what were the deciding factors?
The team reached out proactively, and that was the best thing to happen. While the redesign was on the mind for a while, it kept going on the back burner due to other immediate business issues. Their reach out made us confident we can complete a long pending project.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Since we are in an absolute startup mode, the entire process had many iterations from our side, a lot of scope creep, and on-the-go changes. This team is like none other. They made quick iterations as asked for, and sometimes helped with giving us alternate options, especially if our design was getting clunky.
How many resources from The App Ideas team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I think it was a team of 3 but most of the interactions came from a single point source, it was easy to have a point person.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Documentation strong, video tutorial for post-management. Ours is not a commerce site so there aren't any immediate ROI metrics to track.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Timely and extremely professional.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They enjoy their work and that showed consistently from start to finish. Their ownership and customer-centric work ethic were stood out in the workflow.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
