Static Code Analysis
Worked on Contract #W56JSR-17-D-0004 with the Department of the Army through Harmonia Holdings Group as a subcontractor. We assessed the source code of various applications from the Army to make sure that they were free of vulnerabilities and make recommendations on how to fix discovered security threats. We also participate in other projects as needed providing cybersecurity services like vulnerability scanning, code analysis, penetration testing, risk management, and more.
HIPAA Compliance & IT Security Planning
Created an IT Security Plan and Cybersecurity Policies/Procedures to help the company become HIPAA compliant. We also conducted an internal risk assessment of the organization to see how vulnerable they were and to point out any gaps that needed to be filled to meet their security requirements for HIPAA. We conducted vulnerability assessments as well to point out any vulnerabilities on the company’s network. Recommendations were made on what the company would need to do in order to remediate discovered issues.
NIST 800-171 Consulting
Supported Xeryus by conducting a risk assessment and a GAP analysis for a client based on NIST 800-171 guidelines. The client’s architecture was analyzed and all gaps between their compliance with the standard was reported along with remediation actions for each finding.
HIPAA Web Application Security for PrepMod Application
Created a System Security Plan (SSP) for the healthcare organization’s application, “PrepMod”. We are currently assisting the organization with their HIPAA compliance efforts and also are leading their security efforts in regards to their application. Our work with them currently involves conducting threat modeling, building security into their application and development process, ensuring the organization is HIPAA compliant, integrating new applications/tools into their environment, and managing the security of their AWS infrastructure. We also will be providing Cybersecurity Awareness training to employees on an ongoing basis with a custom made curriculum.
Internal & External Penetration Testing for Non-Profit
Conducted an internal and external security assessment of the organization. This included conducting a penetration test and vulnerability scans on the networks to determine where their current gaps are security wise. Remediation actions were provided as well to help them fix the discovered vulnerabilities.
External Penetration Testing
We conducted a large number of penetration tests for their clients, which were typically small businesses with complexity similar to those mentioned in this RFP. External security assessments were completed for each client and a report was generated to assist them in understanding all findings and to help them remediate discovered vulnerabilities.
HIPAA Web Application Penetration Test
We conducted a web application penetration test for Witty Health’s healthcare application and reported any discovered vulnerabilities. Along with that, we conducted a full security audit on their AWS infrastructure and recommended actions they should take to improve their security to meet secure baselines from CIS and AWS. All security gaps were identified and remediation actions were provided.

I'm the CEO of GAMENANA. It's a video game networking marketplace, where gamers can sell and buy used or new video games to other gamers for free.
What challenge were you trying to address with Anthony Timbers LLC?
We were in the process of changing the website to a program, and Anthony (Owner) designed the site.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had a codified website, but Anthony recommended that we use another method that would give us more flexibility. This would also take the burden off of finding developers in the future. He built the site from scratch.
What is the team composition?
Anthony is our main point of contact. It seems like he has a whole network of people that work on backend development, but we have never met them. Regarding meetings, Anthony is the only person we go to.
How did you come to work with Anthony Timbers LLC?
We were enrolled in a program by Prince Willian County, and one of the councilors recommended Anthony Timbers LLC to us. Anthony came at a high recommendation, and he didn’t disappoint us.
How much have you invested with them?
We haven’t spent money because it's a PWC contract. It’s a proposal that Anthony and the PWC people worked out, and they make the payment. I don’t know how much they spend, but on our end, we don’t pay anything.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2021. Anthony Timbers is still helping us to get all the tasks done while we're getting ready to launch the website.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We love our new site — it’s incredible, and we can’t wait to launch it. Right now, Anthony is still working on the cosmetic aspects, but we can already go into the backend. He’s included some metrics that allow us to see the user sign-ups, activity, and subscriptions. It’s a good visual picture compared to what we had before. Anthony recommends items that help us in the long run. He’s helped open our eyes to areas we’re missing.
How did Anthony Timbers LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
Anthony is good. He finished the project a week before the scheduled completion date. The communication has been awesome. Anthony is very responsive. He replies to text messages and emails. We created a group chat to track the progress of the work. He is always present at meetings, contributing and sharing ideas.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Anthony is much better compared to the first developer the PWC people connected us with. He gives us more of his time than the previous developer.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Anthony has already been improving. He's completed what the PWC contract asked him to do and is already working on more tasks. Anthony is cleaning some items in the backend, training us once a week, and getting us to where we can launch the website.
That's of great value to us because without his help we would’ve spent a couple of months to figure it out. We're able to ask Anthony any questions we have. Sometimes, he’s able to do tasks on the fly. Other times, we have to go through third-party vendors to get access, which we track and report back to Anthony. We created an account where we provide feedback.
Any advice for potential customers?
I recommend being clear with the scope and open to sharing information, whether it's a website, plug-in, or update. The problem with business owners is that they think that their ideas will be stolen. However, if they don’t open up with the developers they’re working with, they won’t be able to help.
That’s something that we learned when we started working with Anthony. At the beginning of the project, the PWC people we were working with didn’t understand the scope of what we were doing. Then, we spoke to Anthony and explained the whole project. He understood what we were trying to do. It was a great help because he was able to make recommendations.

We are a petroleum wholesaler delivering fuel of various sorts to companies and government agencies in the Washington metropolitan area. I'm the controller.
What challenge were you trying to address with Anthony Timbers LLC?
We had a terrible website. We were hoping to get it dramatically improved to make our digital presence a little bit stronger than it has been.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Anthony Timbers LLC helped improve our website and put improved pictures and graphics on it. We also needed it to be properly seen on mobile devices. When we originally started, the website didn’t look like it fit when we pulled it up on the phone. It looked ancient, which it was.
They also helped us get more hits. We measured the website’s attractiveness, effectiveness, and efficiency, and we wanted to improve those metrics. They essentially built the site from scratch, but they also worked on the things we already had.

We were incredibly happy with the site. It was absolutely amazing what Anthony was able to do in the time that he had to work. The graphics were wonderful and the interfaces were good. They were very good at communicating. Anthony was patient when I didn’t have time for him and even though we were under time constraints. We primarily communicated via emails, and we had conversations if necessary.
They were professional, thorough, and pleasantly persistent, which was exactly what we needed in that situation. I often told him to get things done and do what he had to do, and he would tell me what he needed. I would give him that as quickly as I could.
Having them was very good because I didn’t have the time to sit around and do this task all the time. It was the 20th responsibility down my list.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The way that he was able to understand what we wanted was impressive. They came up with ideas on ways to do things. Their creativity was a really important part of the project because I didn’t want to sit and just tell them what I needed them to do.
We were relatively easy to please because our system was so outdated. Anything would have been an improvement, but they went way above and beyond my expectations.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m impressed with their patience for the lack of knowledge on our part. However, in the future, when they end up with a similar project to ours, they can maybe assume that the customer knows absolutely nothing about what they’re talking about.
With us, they started talking about computer terminologies, websites, and interfaces, including names and acronyms. I didn’t know what they were talking about, and I didn’t want to take time to find out.

Get Anthony, hold on to him, and treat him like gold.

Anthony has a great understanding of applications and vulnerability. The speed at which he was able to perform tasks and the diligence with which he performed them impressed us. The government did not come back to us with any contradictions to what was reported to them.
