Hotel Extranet (for various companies)
The development of a core sourcing tool for DMCs, Tour Operators and OTAs.
Hotel Extranet is a direct contracting application that allows our clients to shift the workload over to their hotel partners. Hotels are able to manage their rates and availability as well as mid season yield, allotments, stop sales, release changes, restrictions, supplements, discounts and much more.
Booking management allows each hotel partner to keep track of their bookings, and confirm on request bookings for our clients.
By using Resfinity Hotel Extranet our clients can drive sourcing and yield costs to their hotel partners, and free up their employees' time for more important tasks. Resfinity Hotel Extranet can be also used to monitor channel manager rates and availability, as well as apply discounts and offers to channel manager contracts.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the CEO of a travel tech company and a tour operator based in Sweden.
What challenge were you trying to address with Anixe Polska Sp. z.o.o.?
We had challenges with connectivity, data caching, and the data mix of the supplier chain, so we recruited them to help us solve that.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Anixe Polska Sp. z.o.o. developed an API integration technology for data mining and caching prices within the hotel sector of the industry. I'm not aware of the framework they used, but it's an API delivery and exports of cash data. We started by having some meetings where we explained what we needed.
They're also solving data mining and cashing and exporting this info from the supplier chain in a file.
What is the team composition?
We work with around 5–6 members of their team.
How did you come to work with Anixe Polska Sp. z.o.o.?
We did extensive research within our network. When we found them, we interviewed some of their previous clients and chose them based on their advice and recommendations.
How much have you invested with them?
We've spent around €1.5 million (approximately $1.7 million USD) with them so far.
What is the status of the engagement?
We've been working together since June 2016, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The first success of the whole thing is that they're highly open, proactive, and friendly. Also, the communication skills of their team are essential for us; it's been a very open dialogue, and we have been challenging each other to grow.
They see the success of what they deliver as our success and vice versa — it's a very close relationship, and from day one, we felt that it was a perfect match.
How did Anixe Polska Sp.zo.o. perform from a project management standpoint?
They performed exceptionally well; their team is structured, and it's been a speedy and seamless process. They also constantly implement new ideas on using new features to improve the product. In terms of communication, we use email, meetings, and phone calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We like their openness and willingness to understand our needs and how we are seeing the market and can utilize their competence and technology, which gives us a return of investment. They're also transparent with communication, and their deliveries are always on time.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't think there's anything they can improve on.
Any advice for potential customers?
Be open with what you need so they can find a solution for your business — transparency is important, and it'll work great.

I’m eCommerce Director of TAP’s national airline – TAP Air Portugal. We are TAP’s biggest eCommerce platform with a daily multi million operation, on >50 different markets.
For what projects/services did your company hire ANIXE Polska Sp. z o.o., and what were your goals?
Anixe handles our Internet Booking Engine (IBE) which represents a large part of TAP’s overall sales. The platform handles ~10.000 daily bookings and evolves constantly with new enhancements aiming at increased conversion through improved customer experience, session duration, checkout capabilities etc. Our goal is to have a scalable solution to help us track and hit our revenue targets.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Anixe was selected because of it’s focus on TAP’s lime of work as a full service carrier. Anixe had the capability do develop a highly customized solution to fit TAP’s needs. Other competitors proposed off the shelf solutions which did not suit TAP’s needs. Anixe was the most adaptable solution and presented the best time to market in terms of delivery capabilities
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
TAP has been working with Anixe for a long time but the baseline relationship guidelines have been stable over the years. TAP has been using Anixe Resfinity eCommerce platform, customized in several flavors for B2C, B2C Award and B2B each with it’s different capabilities, but sharing the same backbone. This platform evolved each 3 weeks on an agile methodology supported by a dedicated team, in charge of this constant evolution
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
TAP and Anixe work on an agile methodology and the team composition team is composed by 1 scrum master, 2-3 senior lead developers and 2-3 junior developers. But as important as this team, Anixe also provides a 24/7 support team that handles maintenance subjects and an infrastructure team to handle baseline topics on TAP’s farm.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Anixe always adapted to TAP’s requirements, even on the scenarios of scope change. In a business as dynamic as TAP’s sometimes we need to handle last minute wildcards, outside sprint scope and Anixe always adapted to the given circumstances, shifting it’s attention to what was really necessary for the business to run. Deliverables presented with a high degree of quality with facilitated UAT when it was time to be evaluated by business teams.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The project management was very well executed, with deliveries on time, in some circumstances exceeding TAP’s expectations. They went beyond what was requested and we liked that they were foreseeing future needs during the development. We communicated through Skype/Teams, Redmine and obviously email as well
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We had direct access to the whole team, which made it easier to communicate our ideas. Things can be lost in translation if you're only talking to a project manager. Also the capacity to anticipate future needs lead to a significant amount of feature to be developed as configurations which facilitated the overall roadmap
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The quality of work was great, the people with which we work was knowledgeable about the solution, they have the ability to anticipate requirements. They could have been more diligent about benchmarking the industry and proactively proposing features being used by competition

Anixe offers an API which enables us to sell multiple hotel suppliers and aggregators. Anixe added the local fees and resort fees that are introduced by hotels.

As Anixe is our main partner for hotel data we adressed our needs and based upon their expertise and software development they provide us with the best solution

The project was initialized by Airtrade which send Anixe the requirements. Project was split up in two deliveries as multiple products were involved. After the analysis Anixe provide with an offer incl. the planning. Delivery was on schedule.

We worked with their Head of Client Engagement as well as their development team

The deliveries were on time and met our expectations. We were able to test and accept the new delivered software
