Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of Special Projects for a logistics and transportation company that has multiple sub-companies. I get to decide what the company does in the future and what technology we can use. 90% of our business is focused on transporting flowers in the continental US.
What challenge were you trying to address with Alphas Technology?
We recently completed a project in August 2020, and we built a piece of software for our company that we spent a year and a half developing with another company in Columbia.
As a result, we were looking for a company that could provide us support and development services in case we needed something created or implemented within the system. We wanted to partner with a company that was familiar with the brand-new technology that we used for our software.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our software was meant to improve our company's information services. We chose Alphas Technology because they had the ability to manage the software inside Amazon or Google. They met a lot of our requirements with regards to auditing which ensured that we knew the software well specifically on how to implement changes and how to use other procedures.
Alphas Technology continues to help us manage databases and instances. The team is also in charge of the development portion of our software.
What is the team composition?
We directly work with three people, but we also collaborate with a lead and their company general manager.
How did you come to work with Alphas Technology?
Alphas Technology was a referral from the company that originally designed our software. One of the individuals that were working with their company also did some work for us. Through that knowledge base, we were able to approach them. After looking at their work as well as their capabilities, we saw that they were very organized and were equipped with the technology that we needed.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $15,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in June 2021, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They've familiarized themselves with our software, and they’ve been able to take it over with no issues. We have weekly scheduled meetings and Alphas Technology always puts together all the updates on a slide show. We go over each item that needs to get done and then they come back to us when they’re complete or when deliverables are going to get deployed. They’re always on schedule so we don’t do any deployments haphazardly.
They’re very organized; I’m glad that I’m working with them because the structure they’ve created has been working for us. Overall, I’m very happy to be working with Alphas Technology.
How did Alphas Technology perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Jira to manage the project and for communication, we use Slack. Whenever we have an issue, they answer within a few minutes. They also let us know if our issues can be fixed immediately or if it’s something we have to put off until later.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their responsiveness is one of the big things for us. They’re also good at providing our needs and providing the items they’re working on. Their approach makes it easy for us to plan and budget the project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We don’t have many things they can improve because they’ve resolved whatever issues we’ve had in the beginning. Perhaps they can train their individual workers to speak more English. However, I have to share that I’ve also learned how to speak more Spanish because of them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Communicate directly with Alphas Technology. Ask them what you want and list what your parameters are. That way, you can see what they can provide for you. In dealing with them, I’ve learned that they’re straightforward — they say if they can or can’t do your project.
Have the directions in writing, screenshots, or videos because that will make their response and product much better. Overall, your detailed description of what you need will make a difference to the engagement.

I am the Paid Media Manager in a company focused on hotel sector and direct sales channel.
For what projects/services did your company hire Alphas Technology, and what were your goals?
We are developing an automated mechanism (web-app) that combines our internal CRS data with Google Ads platform data in order to improve audience management, campaign creation & optimization by certain algorithmic rules and by expanding the audince reach by through 1st party data.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We found them through refferals, we knew they had very good knowledge of hospitality industry therefore when the great technical refference meets industry knowledge it was a no brainer for us.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
After initial meetings where we presented our desired outcome and the whole purpose of the project, shortly after that we were presented the overall scope of work, time plan and task plan broken into every single task.
The project was divided into 3 parts, campaign creation, optimization engine, audince composer. Each part was reviewd in detail. In order to achieve completion of these parts Alphas connected the web app to our internal CRS API and from other side to API of Google. During the project we were shown mockups several times, demos, we kept meetings weekly on regular basis before we went to final approval stage.

We were able to achieve the project on time with 100% of demanded functionality.

I am impressed with how fast they understood the project from a marketing point of view. knowledge of hositality industry and its key data, organization and perfect timeline.
