I am the owner of Soccer Band-Its, a custom athletic apparel company and wholesaler. We have two main products we customize, lace keepers and custom shin guard stays. 

What challenge were you trying to address with AIsoft?

Our website was on Weebly, but it wasn’t capable of custom innovation — we wanted our customers to see a mockup of their logo on our product. We needed a company to help us achieve that. 

What was the scope of their involvement?

AIsoft developed our new website in Shopify. We already had a Weebly site, and AIsoft migrated that content over to a new Shopify website. 

Most of the work was already done regarding imagery and digital assets, but AIsoft helped with even more than I initially brought them on for. Their team provided me with quality insights to improve the website, including the layout. AIsoft suggested a new separation of products to streamline the website layout and bestseller and featured product tabs. 

AIsoft also did some API integration for us to allow customers to upload their logos to my products. Their team worked with an app development team to achieve that goal, and then they integrated the final product into the website.

I work directly with Teddy (CEO), who relays my requests to the rest of his team. 

How did you come to work with AIsoft?

I found AIsoft through Upwork — I posted my business and the job description, and AIsoft sent me a proposal. Many companies that sent me job applications were rote and didn’t tell me a lot about their company, but AIsoft included a short video that introduced Teddy. 

I then looked into AIsoft and went through their profile and portfolio. I liked what I saw, and after an in-depth interview over the phone, I decided to hire them because they seemed like a good fit for my business. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested a little over $3,000 with AIsoft. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The partnership was from September–November 2021.  

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website is essentially finished — it is perfect and came out exactly as I wanted. The website is miles better on Shopify than it was on Weebly. Other than that, it’s a little too early to provide specific metrics. 

Moving forward, I will be using Google Analytics to track website traffic.

How did AIsoft perform from a project management standpoint?

I think AIsoft had exceptional project management. I communicated directly with Teddy through Slack and he managed the project for me. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The personalized relationship that AIsoft curated was very unique. I usually work with a team with other companies, but with AIsoft, I worked with Teddy every day and he was very hands-on throughout the process. 

The quality relationship made the project very easy to collaborate on, and I definitely plan to work with them on my next project. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any complaints. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise clients to get the AIsoft team on the phone and talk over their plans. These days, many businesses hesitate to deviate from their original ideas, but Teddy and the AIsoft team have great input that is very helpful. 

At the end of the day, I think it was good to follow Teddy's suggestions, especially since he didn’t change anything too drastically. Client’s need to be open to engaging with AIsoft.

I’m one of the co-owners of Neroli Spa, a medical and day spa treatment provider.

What challenge were you trying to address with AIsoft?

We needed their team to build an e-commerce site for our retail products.

What was the scope of their involvement?

AIsoft has developed our Shopify selling platform from the ground up, incorporating content descriptions and images provided by our team. They’ve initially submitted the site layout for our approval before implementing their finalized design and development solutions. Their team has already accomplished the development phase, and they continue to deploy site and product description updates on an as-needed basis. AIsoft has also trained our staff on operating the Shopify interface before the product’s go-live.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement with AIsoft started in August 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve only recently launched our website, and while most of our clients are still local, our international shipping and order placement site features have brought incremental revenue to our business. We have AIsoft’s team to thank for making this order automation possible and providing our customers with flexible payment options, which in turn leads to increased site traffic. We’re also expecting to secure more online orders as this year’s holiday season approaches.

How did AIsoft perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicate via email. Teddy collaborates diligently with our team to ensure that all deliverables meet our standards and any issue we encounter is addressed accordingly. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

AIsoft has incredibly met our exact needs while requiring little effort from our team — they’ve proactively taken charge of the entire development process and managed to keep us in the loop every step of the way.

We can honestly benefit from a more in-depth explanation when it comes to payment processing.

Be upfront in relaying your expectations to help AIsoft customize their game plan based on those.

GenTap is a family-owned manufacturing company in the U.S. specializing in 12-volt siphons. I have been a manager for the past 5 years.

For what projects/services did your company hire AIsoft, and what were your goals?

Our website was made years ago within the company, it was very outdated and unprofessional. We wanted a modern website with many updates.

How did you select Alsoft and what were the deciding factors?

We searched for weeks for a web designer and particularly appreciated how professional AIsoft was on our video interview. All of our questions were answered well and AIsoft actually followed up afterward, unlike others.

We had a meeting to discuss our exact needs and wants. We were then sent a list to review and add/remove from. AIsoft kept us updated along the way and helped us to make the new site go live. We got updated links to the site as it progressed and were able to give recommendations.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

So far our clients love the updated website and can clearly see the differences in our very similar products. We expect to see a large increase in sales.

AIsoft did not ask much from us and were very independent, which we enjoyed. We got periodic updates and our requests were always fixed or changed immediately. We emailed back and forth throughout the process and they were always happy to get on a video call if needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They ask good questions to lead us in the right direction and understand what we want and deliver it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We sent a drive of photos over and almost none of the new photos were used, when we mentioned it all of the photos were on the site in no time.

We are a non profit organization with a mission to shine a light worldwide on the global epidemic of child sex trafficking, and in so doing rescue more children from slavery and assist law enforcement to seek justice for those who violate children. While our focus remains on children, we assist survivors of all ages to bring them safety and healing. We place survivors on a path to recovery by partnering with vetted aftercare providers or by placing them with families.

After a video introduction, Teddy put together a mock site that I approved. Implementation was prompt. The entire project took less than a week from start to finish.
