Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an aspiring musician and entertainer.
What challenge were you trying to address with Ahmad Digital Agencies?
I wanted to get more exposure and to have more people be familiar with my sound. I’m in South Africa and the most-streamed music here is house, hip hop, and others, but my music is more of a synth-wave pop, soul, and R&B sound. If people could be more familiar with it, becoming an aspiring musician wouldn’t be as much of a challenge.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I started by telling them my goal and let them sort out everything. I haven’t checked my social media in a long time, but I believe so far it is going well. I started my Instagram again and they’re working to get me more followers. They manage both my Instagram and Facebook.
How did you come to work with Ahmad Digital Agencies?
I did a lot of research on how people become famous or get exposure and I found that marketing plays a big role. From there, I did some research on Google and I found them.
How much have you invested in them?
I’ve spent less than $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
I believe we started working together in January 2020, and I’m still working with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Because of my limited time as a student, I only check social media once a week. However, I’m happy because they’ve been able to grow my audience, which I struggled with for a long time. I’m not a big fan of Facebook but I’ve seen people liking my music page and they’re interested in my music, which is cool.
How did Ahmad Digital Agencies perform from a project management standpoint?
We do call each other to manage the project more, but we sometimes communicate by email. I prefer calling rather than texting, too.
What did you find most impressive about them?
People are finally listening to my music, and they’ve been helping me get that attention. Because of their help, I’m finally getting the marketing support I need. As an aspiring musician, people have to know you, so people recognizing me has been the best thing. I see changes within days. Their work, graphics, and creativity are all things that I haven't seen before.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything — I’ve had a great experience.
