AI based Identity Verification System for KYC
We built an Artificial Intelligence based Identity verification software for an online platform for digital securities issuance and management (https://www.pixelogy.co/). The Identity verification system had 2 core components, a facial detection model and a liveness detection model. Both these models were deep neural networks trained on data that we had collected for the task. The system achieved accuracy of > 97% and was used to perform KYC in the client's platform.

For what projects/services did your company hire Aegasis Labs?
We brought in Aegasis Labs to help building our machine learning pipelines and algorithms for measuring performance analytics for golfers
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We chose the vendor through referrals from our recruiting partners. Their prior expertise building ML pipelines was a key factor for choosing them.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
First, we had a series of discovery sessions with our team of data scientists understanding how to implement the alorithms in a functionally correct way. Aegasis then used a modern data platoform namely ClickHouse, AWS Step Functions and advanced AI libraries from Python to implement our algorithms. Worked with the entire design, delivery, QA and product teams to create an automated delivery mechanism to deliver the pipelines to production.

We had the main consultant work with us as a technical resource.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The team successfully built 2 of the 5 deeper analysis and algorithms modules in our pipeline and delivered to production.

Aegasis team worked very closely with our engineers, participating regularly in zoom and slack huddles.

We had originally anticipated Aegasis to provide functionality that could offer processing on a global basis and due to time constraints and other priorities, we could never get to getting that done.

I’m the CTO of a medical AI company. We're developing a biomarker for retinal diseases.

We needed their expertise in AI and software development.
