Branding for Retail CBD Distributor
"I thought it was going to be exciting, but they went above my expectations with their production."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of a manufacturing startup in its early stages. We provide everyday lifestyle products, and we enhance them a little bit. Since my business partners manufacture CBD, a lot of our products use it.
What challenge were you trying to address with Adrenaline Design?
I needed Adrenaline Design to take care of my whole brand identity. I knew how I wanted my company to look, but I only had the name. I needed everything else, from the logo, the branding, and the packaging.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had an initial meeting to explain what I was trying to achieve and needed. They started off by giving me a few tips or style scapes, as they call it, which gave me an idea of how the brand identity was going to look. Afterward, they delivered a portfolio with different style directions we could use.
They also did mockups for my business cards. They started off with the logos, the typefaces, the color schemes, and a brand strategy of how I was going to approach the launch of my company.
They also planned mockups for my website, including letterheads, and showed me how they would look. They helped me with branding, explaining the use of certain colors, and helping me choose which one was best for my goals.
Adrenaline Design also helped me establish the company’s mission and values, and to see what my business was going to be.
We finished the main goal last month, and I haven’t spoken about developing the website further than the mockup because I’m now getting the manufacturing sorted, but I’ll probably go on with them later.
What is the team composition?
I mainly worked with two people, which were Gareth and James (Directors).
How did you come to work with Adrenaline Design?
They’ve done projects for a family member a while back. I absolutely loved the way they presented the website. That’s why I went with them. I knew they’d be able to make me achieve what I wanted my company to look like. It was the same high-end style that I wanted for my brand.
How much have you invested with them?
I’d estimate a £12,000–£15,000 range (approximately $16,000–$20,000 USD)..
What is the status of this engagement?
It started November 2020 and by February 2021, we decided we were happy where we were, and we put our collaboration on pause while I’m working on manufacturing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Adrenaline Design helped me with things I didn’t even know that I needed at first, but once I had, I didn’t know what I would've done without them.
Furthermore, when the company I’m going into business with saw the branding Adrenaline Design did for me, they asked if they could go in as a joint venture with me because they absolutely loved how it looked. They said it was the best-looking CBD brand that they currently manufactured, and they thought it would do really well in retail. I took them up on that, and I believe the way it looked pushed them to agree.
How did Adrenaline Design perform from a project management standpoint?
I loved how well they communicate. They were constantly updating me and giving me time frames as to when things would be done. If I needed little tweaks here and there, I’d make requests only to discover that they were already on to put it together and show me what it'd look like.
We usually communicated through Zoom calls and phone calls when we weren’t able to meet in person. We also used Whatsapp to throw some ideas back and forth, but it was mainly Zoom and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I haven’t had much experience with others, but the quality of their communication stood out the most. They understood what our needs were right away and were able to give me things I didn’t even know I wanted. They make the best version of it, which is really cool. They have great attention to detail, and it’s impressive how quickly they responded.
Moreover, I believe they’re just great people to work with. Some agencies may carry a bothered or negative energy, so it doesn’t feel exciting to work with them. Adrenaline Design got me so hyped about the company. They were super positive about the entire process. They were excited for me as well, which was really nice. The overall energy of making it an exciting experience to build something new was amazing. Their collaboration made me feel like it was already a big success.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I'm 100% happy with everything, from the whole process to the results. I thought it was going to be exciting, but they went above my expectations with their production. So I don’t have any kind of constructive criticism.
Any advice for potential customers?
Be open to any suggestion and any direction they propose and see where they can go with it. Give them as much information as you can on what you want. Don't be too restrictive on certain things. If I had stopped them from doing certain things, I wouldn’t be where I am now. Trust their judgment.

Branding & Web Design for Logistics Company
"Adrenaline Design was very efficient and communicated well."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the managing director of a parcel and pallet delivery company based in North Wales. With around 150 employees, we cover nationwide express courier and overnight delivery services.
What challenge were you trying to address with Adrenaline Design?
We had purchased a transport company two years ago and It was a small, family-run organization with very little promotion, web presence, or brand identity. We approached Adrenaline Design to help us promote that new section of our company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Adrenaline Design was tasked to have a look at the website of the company we had purchased. The web design was quite old and certainly wasn’t attracting any traffic. When we assessed it, it also didn’t marry the look of the physical vehicles and the look of the company.
The team then worked with us to revamp the site and create a fresh and more modern look, with the goal of building a brand identity, attracting more traffic, and gaining more business. The design they used for the website was also used on the vehicles and was symmetrical to the old look of the company.
Adrenaline Design built new web pages as well, for which we provided content that they enhanced and added visuals to.
What is the team composition?
As far as I’m aware, there were two people who were working on this project.
How did you come to work with Adrenaline Design?
They were recommended to us by a couple of people, including one of the IT people in our company. I looked at what their online presence was like and went through examples of their previous work. I found their designs nice and fresh, so I decided to hire them.
How much have you invested with them?
Overall, the project came to about £5,500 (approximately $7,600 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
It was a pretty quick project and was all done between September–October 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’ve not gone into the metrics side of the website but I was just happy with the look that we’ve gotten from the branding and redesign. We’ve got more than enough work coming at us at the moment and have earned five-star reviews on Google, so it was certainly good work.
There has been a fair bit of interest in what we’ve done with the branding and how the website looks. The visuals were refreshing and the pictures of North Wales — which is quite a rural area — that went into the design were fabulous. We’re certainly pleased that the branding went well on our Facebook page and that some of our customers have commented positively on it.
I’ve just commissioned Adrenaline Design to create another web page for me, which they’re working on at the moment. There are problems that people are experiencing due to Brexit and delays in the poll, and we’re able to offer a solution that we need everybody to be aware of.
How did Adrenaline Design perform from a project management standpoint?
We had a few phone calls but the majority of our correspondence was done via email, which was what I preferred for the traceability of communication.
I could bounce ideas back and forth with the team or send them scripts, and they would show me mockups which made it easy to visualize the designs. They were quite pleasant and didn’t feel frustrated when I wasn’t happy with the direction of a certain piece of the project. Instead, they would be very fluid and come back to me with more ideas.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The speed at which they could get around was impressive. With a previous company, setting up the website seemed to take forever, so I was surprised that we turned it around in 6–7 weeks even when I kept changing things.
Adrenaline Design was very efficient and communicated well. Their pricing was affordable and they did exactly what I asked them to do. I was pleased with the whole experience from start to finish, which is why I’ve gone back to them for another project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No — as I said, I was quite happy with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t be afraid to put plenty of ideas on Adrenaline Design as one person’s vision can be very different from somebody else’s. I found email very useful because it’s where they sent their mockups, background design alternatives, and color options, and how we eventually arrived at the design I wanted.

Full Web Dev & Design for Tree Surgery Company

Please describe your company and your position there.
I run a tree surgery and grounds maintenance company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Adrenaline Design Ltd., and what were your goals?
I decided that my website was in need of a complete re-work, as my original site didn't get across the right feeling and message of who we are and what we can do. It was also extremely limited in the ability and ease of modification.
I hunted around and got recommendations from several people, but chose Adrenaline Design as I felt that they listened to what I wanted and needed.
How did you select Adrenaline Design Ltd. and what were the deciding factors?
Adrenaline Design were appointed as I liked their portfolio of previous and current works. Even though the world of tree surgery was a new industry to them, their creative ideas came into play instantly and allowed my business to stand out from the competition, but also remain true to my line of work.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had an initial meeting in which my former website was analysed and my ideas of what I wanted to see were put forward. I wanted a smart, snappy and fresh website that looked different from the rest and some ideas were presented to me over the next few days.
Once the layout was decided upon, I left the guys at Adrenaline Design to get on with it. I occasionally sent over key images I wanted to be included. They gave great advice all the way through, suggesting on many occasions, ideas that I would never have thought of. The end result appeared within 10 days or so and I couldn't have been happier.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked with Gareth who is co-owner of the company.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Using Google analytics, I saw an increase in traffic to the website of around 45%, with many leads from there converted to actual contracts won.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
I found Adrenaline very easy to work with. I gave them my brief, described what I wanted and essentially left them to it. I said I would like the website done in 2 weeks and the end result arrived sooner (10 days).
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I like the fact that they are keen, very easy to get on with, and really know their stuff. I had extreme confidence in their abilities and really felt very comfortable in relying on their expertise to deliver the website I not only wanted, but needed as the business grew.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There really is nothing that I could fault with the whole appointment.

Rebranding Services for Manufacturing Company

Please describe your company and your position there.
We are a manufacturing company that make health and wellness products. My role is COO and head up most of the sales in acquiring new brands to manufacture for.
For what projects/services did your company hire Adrenaline Design, and what were your goals?
We hired Adrenaline Design to give our brand a new look and feel as we are relatively new in the space and over time our business has evolved. We wanted to shape the brand into a clean, aesthetically pleasing, modern looking brand that assured our clients quality and care.
How did you select this vendor?
We had been looking at plenty of other companies work and as soon as we came across Adrenaline Designs previous projects we knew it was the direction we wanted to go.
We had numerous zoom calls with Gareth and James which ultimately filled us with the confidence that they cared and truly wanted to understand the vision we had for our brand.
I can’t praise them enough for this aspect as they were so attentive in trying to really get inside our minds as to what we were imagining the finished article to look like.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
To start, they did a discovery Zoom call, where we told them the story so far.
Then we got into how the business was starting to evolve into a slightly different space and that we had the vision of a brand that showed extreme quality and a refined look to fill our future clients with excitement that their products were being manufactured by a company that’s branding looked like a household name.
Once we got into the story, we had zoom calls with Katie, who was the creative writer and she started to put some tag lines together which were all so good we couldn’t pick the final one! We ended up having a few different tag lines that worked out perfectly in the end.
Next up was colour schemes and general look of the brand, as well as different materials we would like to be associated with. All adding up to give that final refined look we were so desperate for. We then moved into the different fonts and type faces.
Where we were given our own trademarked fonts so they would always be unique to us. In terms of deliverables we were given, specific items we asked for i.e pitch decks to approach potential clients with. Social media images and 3D imagery that Adrenaline Designs made specifically for us.
We were given a brands guideline pack which was a comprehensive document to show any existing and future employees of ours exactly who we were, the tone we wanted to speak in as a brand and why we had used all of the different fonts/colours and tag lines to showcase who we are.
The guys truly went above and beyond to deliver all of this.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked directly with Gareth and James. We had numerous zoom calls throughout the process. They were always extremely punctual, friendly and pro-active throughout the whole project.
We had group WhatsApp chats to go back and forth on any questions we may have had and we also spoke to Katie the ‘creative writer’ on numerous calls so she had a good understanding of our needs when it came to writing up the tone/story we wanted to showcase to the world.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Because of the project I was able to acquire our biggest client. We are still in the early stages of development of products for them. But with the pitch deck I was able to show them they were blown away and I’m certain this was a huge part in getting them over the line.
As they wanted their brand to look similar in quality to ours, which was always the goal.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Their management of the project was second to none. Timeliness was always spot on, sometimes they would provide the deliverables ahead of their time stated. Communication wise we relied heavily on zoom calls and WhatsApp chats which suited us down to the ground.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Most impressive for me was how well they understood our vision and brought to life the quality we had in mind. If anything they actually surpassed our wildest expectations.
The best compliment I can pay the guys is that everytime we had a zoom call to go over one of the latest deliverables I would always be blown away and so excited afterwards because it looked better than I could have imagined. Or that they had provided something exactly as I had in mind and worded perfectly.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I honestly don’t think there was anything that could have improved Adrenaline Designs service. On a personal and a professional level the service was top class. We have become good friends and I truly believe that the future success of our brand will have a lot to owe to Adrenaline Design for giving us a platform to build from.
The Adrenaline Design team was detailed, communicative, attentive, and efficient. Their thorough collaboration and superior design allowed the startup to build interest from an external business partner. The energy and commitment they invested went a long way in the client's success.
