Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m one of the managers of the online marketing team at a carpet cleaning company. We’ve just been franchised throughout the US and Canada.
What challenge were you trying to address with Adplorer?
Our locations rely heavily on Google Ads to drive new business. They provided us with PPC services to centralize our campaigns and manage regional ROI.
What was the scope of their involvement?
To achieve this, they created a template for our local websites on our web platform Originally, that involved how they set up the protocol and created templates. Now, they handle keyword research and set up campaigns, linking to the appropriate landing pages. They input coupon codes into our system and interface with our CRM for the franchisees, providing us with a full-service operation.
What is the team composition?
We’re in contact with the CEO, our account manager, and a teammate that handles the coding and linking of our content to platforms.
How did you come to work with Adplorer?
Their CEO knew our CEO from various conferences in the franchising space. He seemed to know anything and everything. Even if something wasn’t in their job description, they were willing to help out. Their flexibility was important in hiring them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We likely signed on with them in March 2016, and our collaboration is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They were always willing to adapt and customize the entire program to our system. Even when we weren’t receiving the best results, they showed flexibility and were able to take criticism. They’ve done very well, never taking issue with going to fix problems.
How did Adplorer perform from a project management standpoint?
We have a weekly call during which we discuss projects that need to be worked on. They also have a live document that is regularly updated with changes and gives their team access to resources they need ahead of schedule. That way, they don’t need our help to progress to new tasks.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their ability to adapt to changes has been helpful. When things go wrong, they analyze and work toward something different. Their ability to make us happy this way is the most important.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Communication is difficult when there about 300–400 franchisees at several locations. They’ve also learned to adapt to this situation, so this definitely isn’t heavy criticism for them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be upfront with your needs and what resources you have available. As long as that communication is there, they can be accomodating and help you through the project.
