We are an online marketing and ecommerce agency founded to serve the needs of small business clients. Services include marketing, branding, ecommerce, and web development.

Our client had specific and nuanced ecommerce needs where an out-of-the-box solution was not viable. AdornCommerce was contracted to implement the custom functionality we needed to satisfy the client's project scope.

The solution had to meet the client's unique needs, both for their service offerings, and for integration with an ancient management software platform.

After an extensive interview process, we selected this vendor ahead of many other candidates because they were able to express a clear understanding of the scope and requirements of the project.

They understood, created, and implemented custom ecommerce functionality. Additionally, they managed the custom-built integration system between the website and the client's ancient software platform.

The project had one main point of contact, supported by a team of developers who executed the development work.

The result was a functional and reliable integration, and custom functionality that the client was very pleased to use.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was handled on our end, with our PM liaising with their primary contact person. Overall, very effective with no wasted communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The vendor's team had a thorough understanding of the software involved, and was able to craft and implement effective and efficient solutions without a lot of handholding.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is not much to improve - we are very pleased with the results.

We hired Adorn Commerce for one of our client's magento 1 store. Our goals were to refresh the UI and upgrade the site to magento 2.

We did RFP and by interviewing lots of teams we found Adorn Commerce best match for our needs.

Magento upgradation from magento 1 to magento 2. Some of the pages were taking 9-10 seconds to load which needed to improve and load within 4 seconds. UI of the entire site was refreshed.

Magento 2 upgrade was successful. site speed improved 50%.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

At the time, there were only a few teams who knew how to upgrade to Magento 2, and AdornCommerce LLP was one of them. Few of the modules we had used were not available in the market and they build it from scratch which means they have development team who knows how to do custom work.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Communication - at times things delayed but they were able to successfully complete all tasks on time.

We have been using Adorn in an ongoing capacity for 7 years as our development team. The most recent major project they handled for us was upgrading to Magento 2.

What were your goals for this project?

Successfully transition our site from Magento 1 to Magento 2. Maintaining our SEO rankings and having all our different extensions work seamlessly was very important so we did not lose any productivity.

We have worked with Adorn for 7 years and trust them implicitly so they were the obvious choice for the M2 upgrade.

We worked with the 2 partners at Adorn and they also had a team working on our project but the 2 partners served as project managers.

This project was a major undertaking and paramount for our business to grow. The impact on our business has been huge and I am very happy with the upgrade. The site looks beautiful, functions the way we want and is also much faster and more secure.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The 2 partners at Adorn served as project managers and this was very effective as we communicated almost daily.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

As a company we have been working together for 7 years and I love working with them. They are very good at communicating and more importantly, getting their tasks resolved quickly. They stay late and have worked through the night and on weekends to make sure issues are resolved so that our business is not affected.

We worked with AdornCommerce to create our website and to maintain / update / customize it since.

To have a fully functional website, providing good user experience and allowing us to manage sales, products, customers...

AdornCommerce is taking care of all the developments we need for our website. Automations, changes of design, extra functionalities, regular updates...

What was the team composition?

The team is of decent size each one with different skills, some are developpers, others designers... we mainly work with one member of the company and then the tasks are split internally.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The efficiency is really good especially since we decided to work directly with AdornCommerce. Most of the times a new task is done within a few days, thanks to the day to day collaboration we have.

The project management is managed from our contact in AdornCommerce and usually exactly corresponds to what was announced, unless exceptional issue or changes in our requests.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have the ability to do anything we ask and have solved all our issues so far.
