Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the co-founder of a specialized digital marketing agency. We build websites and perform digital advertising for flooring retailers, distributors, and manufacturers.

What challenge were you trying to address with AdHawk?

We were initially doing Google AdWords in-house. However, we found it challenging to regularly scale our operations while producing consistently high-quality results for our clients. We engaged AdHawk to outsource our AdWords operations.

What was the scope of their involvement?

AdHawk fully manages our AdWords campaigns. We first provided their team with necessary information, including keywords based on customers we’re serving and on markets we’re targeting. We then worked together to form a strategy, which they then implemented using their platform. They take care of optimization, management, and scaling as needed.

What is the team composition?

We have two primary contacts. We work with Jeff (Franchise Marketing Lead, AdHawk) who oversees our account and scales resources as needed. We also worked with Jenna (Franchise Account Manager, AdHawk) who’s in charge of the details of every campaign. For optimization work and everyday details and onboarding people, she’s our point of contact. In larger meetings with our biggest clients, Dan (Founder and COO, AdHawk) will involve himself. For development needs, we’ll work with an engineer or developer from their team.

How did you come to work with AdHawk?

I had been reading their blog for a while, and the information they provided impressed me. When I went to a Google event in New York, I reached out to AdHawk. Todd (Founder and CEO, AdHawk) set up an informal meeting with me, which marked the start of our business relationship.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $250,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2016, and we retain AdHawk’s services on a monthly basis.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since we engaged their services, AdHawk has increased our conversion rates by over 200% and decreased our cost-per-action (CPA) rates on a consistent basis.

How did AdHawk perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team is exceptionally well-organized and productive. AdHawk has enabled us to land larger clients and put out hundreds of ad campaigns on those accounts' behalf within five days. We communicate primarily via Slack, which we find highly useful. We also update workflows in Wrike.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When we’ve worked with past vendors, we noticed a drop in attention to detail after the initial pitch and sales presentation. AdHawk, however, increased their efforts after the initial pitch; they assigned a whole team of people to our account and immediately dove into the details, accumulating enough information to provide us with our desired results. AdHawk also stays updated about changes in Google’s platforms. They involve us in Google beta tests and keep us apprised of significant changes and how their team will address those changes in our accounts. The ability to stay on top of these details distinguishes AdHawk from the competition.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we’re highly satisfied with their work. Any potential issues are rapidly addressed.

Any advice for potential customers?

Tackling AdWords in-house requires serious resources and scaling. Working with AdHawk provides a far better ROI.
