Disrupting the event industry forever.
Glownet reached out to us in their early days to help them build the core of their system. Our responsibility was mainly to provide a back-end system that would connect RFID devices to an administration portal that allows the devices to be managed, including credit purchases through service stations and global sales monitoring.
We additionally built end-user interfaces that would allow online credit purchases and refunds to take place as well as integrating its services with third-party ticketing systems that would enable users to preorder credits on checkout.
Glownet has deployed its fully cashless services at over 600 events across 40 countries worldwide with over 4 million unique activations. Clients and partners include Spotify, Live Nation, Sonar, Mad Cool, South Summit and many more major festival organisers.
We built a mobile-first and highly customizable user interface so that each client could integrate their brand into their customer journey. Our builder allows clients not only to select a brand colour and upload header images but also allows uploading of custom CSS to give them full freedom to promote their brand.
The focus of our solution was to save queue times and to grow revenue. The user is at the centre and in control of all the actions, from allowing users to activate their tickets themselves to allowing them to add credit to their accounts while triggering them with up-sales and add-ons.

Disrupting the auto ecommerce market.
We were contracted to build Trive's vehicle ecommerce platform from scratch with several innovative features, such as Live Video or Test Drive. These features allow users to inspect the vehicle from their computer or phone while being described by an expert as well as allowing users to request a physical free test drive.
The Trive platform allows car dealers to showcase their stock while assisting customers in purchasing the right vehicle through a seamless checkout experience that incorporates car customisations as well as financing and insurance options.
Car purchases are normally handled through bank financing. That is why we built in a customizable financing calculator that would enable clients to configure their loan according to their needs. Once the client requests the purchase, the loan request is triggered directly to the bank including all documentation, which simplifies the whole process of buying a car.
To satisfy the customers' demand of wanting to see and feel the car before making a purchase, we integrated a virtual tour functionality. This guides clients through the vehicle features while examining the vehicle through real-time video. Besides this feature, users can also request for a physical test drive by just completing a form, and the car will be dropped off at the clients' location.

Revolutionising dog nutrition with an algorithm
Happets is a premium subscription service for customised pet food. It handles the entire fulfillment and delivery process from picking and packing the product samples to shipping them off to the home of the consumer.
Its underlying technology analyses a broad array of data using an algorithm and then turns that intelligence into specific nutrition instructions. This data-driven, custom-tailored approach gives veterinarians better insights and advice for shaping a dog's diet. It also helps the team provide a highly personalised treatment to each customer.
Happets belongs to Agrolimen, the Spanish holding specialised in consumer goods, with leading brands in food and pet food industries as well as quick service restaurants, including Gallina Blanca, and Affinity Petcare.

Building the future of connected vehicles.
We were contracted for the ideation and creation of building the core technological architecture on which BotOn is based. Working tightly with the projects team, we designed a system that would be versatile and could work for individuals as well as for businesses.
The core services included detailed trip analysis, real-time geolocation tracking, vehicle diagnostics and a push notification system for both end-users and management.
We also developed an API that third-party developers could use to integrate BotOn services into their applications. BotOn brings the opportunity for fleets and manufacturers to keep an updated status of each vehicle at all times.
Offering the ability to forecast when a car should be scheduled for maintenance or be informed in real-time if any vehicle of a fleet has been damaged or stolen.
Whether you are a business, a driver or a sales representative, our tool is highly flexible and can be adapted to various user roles. We built BotOn to be robust so that it can adjust to multiple use cases and allow for future customisations.

Powering vehicle owners to P2P markets.
Fleeet contacted us to help them build their marketplace platform that allows individuals and businesses to monetise their unused vehicles through a rental based subscription model. Once an owner has registered a vehicle, it becomes available on their marketplace website, allowing anyone to rent it through a simple checkout experience.
Fleeet has proven to cover a massive gap in the peer-to-peer economy by helping owners earn passive on their vehicles from the comfort of their homes. Fleeet allows users to search and browse for car rentals and complete their checkout from the comfort of their phones. With just a few clicks, clients will be ready to make use of their rented vehicles.
Fleeet provides a simple checkout experience with default payment periods but also allows for custom rental intervals. All subscriptions integrate insurance, which is automatically calculated at checkout, while subscription payments are automatically collected through direct debit or credit card gateways.

Putting an end to endless paperwork.
Being one of the largest human resource platforms in Spain and responsible for over 280,000 signed contracts in the last four years. This company with an international presence has redefined how technology is implemented in the human resource industry.
They provide corporations with a platform that allows managing large employee data-bases with features such as contract renewals, digital signage of contracts and employee document management.
This ever-growing industry and Synergie’s hunger for innovation has developed a strong partnership between us where we are continually improving their system, enhancing latency, improving security while continually planning the next features to enhance their services.
With different companies having various methods of signing contracts, we built the platform to include multiple types of electronic signatures, including biometric and digital signatures that could be selected at the users' discretion.
Through powerful filtering capabilities, biometric signature integrations and mass editing tools, we simplified how managers search and manage employee contracts. One key feature of our solution was to allow managers to stack contracts and sign them all with one signature action, saving them valuable time.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder of DESCIFRA, a map infotech company. We help business owners create strategies using maps.
What challenge were you trying to address with Acid Tango?
We wanted to redesign our whole UX/UI from scratch.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Acid Tango designed the customer journey by coming to understand how our customers use our previous platform. They then mapped all of that into a new design for the whole platform. We originally thought we wanted to update the existing one but it turned out to be a better idea to redesign it from scratch. They helped us implement an agile scrum way of working. They used Zeplin and Illustrator.
They built widgets and the capability of selecting maps. They helped us develop more on the frontend side but they also helped on the backend side.
What is the team composition?
We worked with four people from Acid Tango most of the time.
How did you come to work with Acid Tango?
We were looking for an agency in Mexico and we weren’t able to find one right away. Out of the blue, they sent me a message on LinkedIn. They looked good so we decided to work with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We have invested $80,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from February–July 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our customers thought the platform was fantastic and easy to use. We got a lot of good testimonials.
How did Acid Tango perform from a project management standpoint?
We used Monday and Slack to collaborate. Project management was great. Internally, we didn’t work with any particular methodology but they helped us go into scrum and agile.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of their work was excellent. Their willingness to complete the project despite the budget limitations was quite notable.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We were happy with Acid Tango's work.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure you have the right scope of work that you want to do because it’s not cheap. You want to make the most out of your time.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO and co-founder of Happets, a premium subscription service for customized pet food. It handles the entire fulfillment and delivery process from picking and packing the product to shipping them off to the home of the consumer.
For what projects/services did your company hire Acid Tango, and what were your goals?
We hired Acid Tango to optimise and scale Happets' back office, add new functionalities to our platform, and improve the performance of the home page.
As a funded startup in need of rapid growth, we had to be able to swiftly implement lots of requirements in our platform.
Since this could not be covered by hiring people at that point, we looked for skilled and experienced developers matching our needs.
How did you select Acid Tango and what were the deciding factors?
We considered several providers, but chose Acid Tango because of a personal recommendation. We decided to go with them due to the speed and expertise they were able to provide.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The project involved improving our back office, which had been developed in-house, to encompass a wide variety of functions, many of which were interlinked. Acid Tango added new functionalities related to the subscription model management, orders management, and customer service support mainly.
They also maximised scalability in the back office, eliminated most manual data entries, and redesigned the platform so it could be more usable. Finally, they carried an A/B testing to monitor the performance of the home and the checkout page.
This led to the optimisation of the user experience implementing new design features and custom functionalities. Other functionalities incorporated included the user log in, profile, ingredient specifications, order tracking among others.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
They assigned us a dedicated project manager, and a team composed by 3 front-end developers, 4 back-end developers and 2 UX/UI designers.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our team found the process much easier to fulfill as a result of the new features included and the manageability of the back office. It made the company scalable.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
The team was always very engaged when it came to finding a solution for complex problems and the workflow was highly efficient.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We were impressed with the diversity of the skills. They held and their commitment to our project as if it was their own.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There’s always room for improvement, but I’m happy with what they’ve been able to do, I don’t have any complaints.

Exolum, a new company from CLH Group, its mission: push new sustainable business opportunities that preserve the environment. We want to be a lead agent for change that contributes to society creating viable green projects based on the transformation of infrastructures.
For what projects/services did your company hire Acid Tango?
We wanted to develop a secure and technological parking network for trucks, where the operation of the facilities could be managed from an App for our customers.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal has been to allow users to enter the parking facilities in an agile, comfortable and safe way through their mobile devices.
How did you select Acid Tango?
We met AcidTango through a common contact, and after reviewing different proposals, we found that their business philosophy was similar to ours.
Describe the project in detail.
Customers use the parking autonomously to access and leave the facility, but also to make reservations on a one-off basis (as if they were a hotel). A booking system had to be created to analyse availability and manage occupancy in real time. Access is done through a double check that reads the vehicle's number plate and an smart QR reader to validate entry and exit.
What was the team composition?
On our side, we had 3 different profiles assigned to us. On the Acid Tango side, our main interaction was the project manager, but there were different profiles adapted to the following needs: graphic design, iOs development, back-end development, front-end development, user experience, etc.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Although we are still validating the business model, you can download the Yubick app on both iOs and Android in their respective stores.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Communication was quite fluid with daily and weekly meetings. In addition, we used Slack to communicate easily all the time.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their synergy with our company and ability to develop in a lean way were impressive.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We believe that more flexibility in the customer relationship model would be helpful.

Our startup aims to give citizens of Madrid, Barcelona, and other cities of Spain different possibilities to move around their cities, by car, scooter, and so on. They can also use our app to pay for public transport and taxis.
What challenge were you trying to address with Acid Tango?

What was the scope of their involvement?
Acid Tango has worked with us in two main areas: backend integrations between our system and operators, namely the companies that own cars and scooters; and client application development.

We have seven developers from Acid Tango working with us, both frontend and backend. They’ve assigned us UX developers as needed.

We gained 60,000 users in one year. We launched in September 2019, and we were going very slowly. Acid Tango started with us in December of that year, and we increased our user count very fast after that.

We all work with Slack, and we use Jira to log issues and tasks. We also use Confluence, and we use Figma and InVision for design.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re very proactive people, and they always come up with new ideas to test.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I always tell them to hire more people. Acid Tango has good expertise in mobile applications, but they could always improve in terms of marketing and getting us more downloads.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The team's spirit and knowledge of the industry was excellent.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
