We have teamed with Absolute Marketing to help Alessi Bakeries deal with all our social media platforms, posting, updates, events, photo shoots and responsive to all comments and issues that arise. They also maintain and designed our website and update pricing and keep our site looking modern and fresh. When we have our events Absolute is there to help us campaign and facilitate all our needs to make sure that our event is seen on all social media sites. They are very easy to deal with and a pleasure to meet with via zoom or in person.

The scope is vast and we deal with each project via email separately. Calendar dates are setup for holiday and food related images are posted. Weekly specials are given to them and they post on all social media sites. Charity functions and Tampa Bay Events we are featured in or attend, are posted and photographed by the team.

All of Absolute works with us and his team of lovely young ladies 2 to 3 depending on the event size or need. Also Alfred the owner is absolute joy to deal with, he is very informative and always knowledgeable to all aspect's of media and customer impact.

All projects that Absolute manages for us have tremendous feedback and they always deliver above what we expect.

Excellent workflow, we email communications most of the time and I always get feedback within 24 hours. They are very helpful and remind me often of items I forget and notify me as a reminder.

For what projects/services did your company hire Absolute Marketing Solutions, and what were your goals?
My original website was created five years ago and I wanted to add a new Blog page, plus attract qualified leads and increase the conversion rate.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I searched the internet for web marketing companies and after interviewing three different ones, I chose Absolut Marketing Solutions because of their marketing strategies, their broad line of marketing tools, and the online recommendations from their customer base.

After the intiial interview and deciding to hire this vendor, their team put together an action plan that included a WordPress mock up of my updated website. The new content included the Blog page I wanted plus a new contact form and a much more user friendly page for my students to submit their materials for testing. They were also able to move my training videos over from my Vimeo account to the new mock up site.

There were a total of three people working on my project. There was a project manager, a web designer, and the owner was very much involved with making suggestions and responding quickly to any issues.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
I was very specific about my stretch goal of obtaning new customers monthly. Oneof the first steps this vendor took was to look at the current analytics to see the activity on my site. Now that the project is finished, they are continuing to monitor that process.
Too early to report any increase in activity. However, I have had a huge positive response from my current customer base about how the new site looks and feels. It pops! I am confident that with everything now in place on my site, I will crush my projected new customer goals.

When we first started the project, there were weekly meeting with thier project manager. Then as time went on, I only needed communicate with the project manager as the pieces were coming together and if I saw any flaws on the mock up site. The project manager was very quick to communicate their progress and any delays. If I had a question, their response time back to me was usually that same day.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I was mostly impressed with their willingness to listen to my goals and their desire to help me reach them. They gave my website a great make-over using WordPress. I was amazed that they showed me how to navigate around my new site and how to change the content of the pages, if needed. This is somthing that my previous company did not do for me.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I can not think of anything that Absolute Marketing Solutons could improve upon. I was treated with respect, as if I owned a multi million dollar company. They were very professional and committed to my project. This team worked long hours and even weekends to complete my project. I feel they delivered more than they promised.

I’m the owner and manager of Pardo Wine Grapes, Inc., a business that distributes California wine grapes and freshly pressed juice in the fall and Chilean wine and grape juice in the Spring to winemakers. We distribute throughout Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. I don’t sell wine; I just provide the products to people who make wine, whether they be home winemakers or wineries.
What challenge were you trying to address with Absolute Marketing Solutions?
I wanted to improve my website. I was using a network solution by myself for quite some time, and I needed to put more personality into it. On top of that, I wanted to integrate order forms that could be sold out online.
What was the scope of their involvement?
With Absolute Marketing, I wanted to update my existing website content and functionality. They reevaluated the use of my network solutions as an alternative to the platform I previously used. Users should also be able to create and submit order forms online.
Moreover, they reevaluated AOL as my email provider. I had an AOL email for years for personal and business use. However, we’ve replaced that email with a more professional one. Then, they also reevaluated the use of Outlook for keeping my customer list information. I’ve also used Outlook for quite some time, and I have the whole Office 365 suite. So far, we’ve retained Outlook since it provides the functionalities that I need pretty well.
Finally, they’ve helped me integrate the above changes with my platform. So far, they’ve completed the bulk of the project. We’ve been talking about going further with the online forms, but they’re currently waiting for my decision to allow online payments.

Our organization is Hyde Park United Methodist Church. We have a downtown location called the Portico, which is a community gathering space. We also had a full-service cafe called Portico Cafe, where we were hiring people transitioning out of homelessness, which recently closed down and moved to have an online presence
What challenge were you trying to address with Absolute Marketing Solutions?
We worked with Absolute Marketing Solutions to help us transition.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The team has done a range of services. First, they helped us strategize how we connect to potential customers through social media. They’ve provided social media services and strategy sessions for us. They also provided postings when we were open and helped us get our focus back on track.
When the pandemic hit, they did some crisis management and crafted our message for foreclosure and how we’re moving forward.
We pivoted from being an open cafe to making sales online. During the pandemic, they did some emergency support to redo our website, content, and landing page. They also helped us work with the website’s UI through Squarespace.
They worked with one of our staff to develop a three-month strategy and got pictures of food and people, which they posted on different sites that weren’t Facebook and Instagram.

Absolute Marketing Solutions engaged our team and supported us at a time of need for all the right reasons. Everybody has a profit motive, but that wasn’t theirs. They truly wanted to give back and helped us design a digital strategy and think through important questions as we tried to reach our target customer base.
Alfred really saw this as a way to give back. We were going to get into a fiscal relationship with them at a not-for-profit rate. However, he said he didn’t want to charge me, and he wanted to do it for us until we were in a good place. That was really generous and helpful for us.

I didn’t communicate with them very often, but during the pandemic and the website redo, they turned on a dime. One person from my team worked directly with them. They were responsive and met deadlines while doing it for free.

I’m the vice president and managing partner of Laser Locators. We buy, sell, and service ophthalmic lasers all over the world — we do business in over 100 countries. We’ve been in business for 16 years. I run all the daily operations of the company at our headquarters in Tampa, Florida.
Our business model is we purchase used ophthalmic lasers and we bring it to our facility and refurbish it to the manufacturer’s specifications. Then, we market it and resell it.
What challenge were you trying to address with Absolute Marketing Solutions?
We needed to revamp our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Absolute Marketing Solutions uses WordPress. As far as marketing ideas and designs of logos, photographs, e-blasts, layouts, etc., they usually lay it on us and we chop it up. A part that’s great about working with them is that I don’t have to explain why we want the layout to be a certain way, they already understand it.
Once they create a page or produce an email, we only need to proofread it for clinical content that I don’t expect anybody to know. We can review it, make quick changes, and send. We’re on the same page with a lot of those things — I’ve had issues with other companies in the past with that.
We’re in the end stretch of a total revamp of our website. It’s not live yet but it’s complete. We’re waiting until the end of the year to launch it. Every two years, we essentially do an overhaul. They help us look at what Google says we should be doing and what the new products coming out are as far as shopping carts and payment options and we make adjustments accordingly. I rely on them for that and always will.
We’ve done multiple projects with his company from website redesign to SEO to branding on social media. They take pictures of our staff during events and put them online. They’ve really helped us with every aspect of our business.
I’ve chosen not to launch it yet because we’re launching a new service department. We’re going to be selling service contracts and some other things we haven’t done in the past. We’ve got some legal things being done in the background and it’s taking a long time with our lawyers.
What is the team composition?
Alfred (President) has 5–6 people in his office in Tampa that are developers and a lot of people that are behind the scenes, very intelligent but close-to-the-chest coders. He also has coders in Romania that are working all the time. We’ll see emails from them in the middle of the night.
He’s got a really good team and it’s grown over the years. Partially why we also worked really well together is because our company has grown, too. We’ve grown together and it’s a good relationship.
How did you come to work with Absolute Marketing Solutions?
I don’t remember how we met but it was likely through mutual business contacts. The reason I teamed up with them in 2014 is that we went through a growth spurt and the company that was doing our marketing couldn’t handle it. We were doing business in other countries and they had no clue how to support it.
Alfred does business in Romania, China, and all over the world so he understood what we needed from a marketing standpoint. We hired them to do a variety of different projects.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $30,000 for this project. I have them on retainer for $3,000 per month right now just to do various things like marketing and e-blasts. We’ve paid their company $350,000 over the course of the last six years.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2020 and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’ve done such a very good job with everything we’ve tasked them with. I’m very happy with our results. The reason we worked so well together initially is he knew the issues we were having and they were easily able to identify what needed to be done to change it.
Every time we’ve redone our site with them, we’ve seen more leads. More importantly, we see higher quality leads. We’re a very niche business, so a lead doesn’t necessarily equate to a sale unless it’s a high-quality lead. What we’ve done over the years is really define that recipe to find the high-quality leads in the countries that buy the products that we offer, which has been the best part of the redesigns.
With every redesign, we always feel it’s more of a state of the art, modern design that’s similar to the times. Our industry is behind when it comes to technology because the FDA approval process takes a lot longer than most things. For us to have something that’s cutting edge, modern, works well on mobile platforms is really important to us. That shows our customers that we’re forever updating our business.
How did Absolute Marketing Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
There have never been any issues with the deadlines and we don’t have to send reminders. If they can’t meet a deadline, we’re told way ahead of time. Their communication is the most important thing to me.
We meet every three months and get a very professional document that summarizes what has occurred in the past 90 days. It maps that quarter back five years, so we can see the growth or the shrinkage. That’s very helpful and we make changes accordingly and then we move on.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re more of a boutique marketing company which is the style I like. We can get a hold of anyone, whether it’s text or email, so it’s relatively informal. It’s an easier form of communication.
I would never hire a really large marketing agency to handle this for me because we have to think outside the box. We’re not a 9-5 business and if we focused on 9-5 business, we’d be dead in the water. We need partners who are the same way and work with the same people. They really know our business and they’ve cared to learn a lot about us over the years. They execute what they learn and they translate that into success.
His niche customer is a growing small business so he can relate. We’ve hired them even for charity work. We really got to know their work ethic since they offered to do volunteer work without getting paid. I see the same consistency of quality throughout regardless if it’s a charitable project or a paid project. It’s been very consistent.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I always like to give some kind of creative feedback but I can’t think of anything for them to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
See if there’s synergy there in an understanding of each other’s business. Some people would say that doesn’t matter, but I feel the way they engage their customer and communicate means there has to be a willingness to learn.
A company has to have a willingness to teach their business to Absolute Marketing Solutions. They perform the best when they literally understand. If this was fresh and I was hiring them, I’d sit down first and tell them about the business and have them ask me questions. It’d give me a little more of a feeling as to whether or not they’re a good fit.

For what projects/services did your company hire Absolute Marketing Solutions?
Our Customer Profiles were maintained in a giant excel sheet converted to .html and we were basically waiting for the links in the sheet to break. We wanted to. move away from excel, with better security features and easier to use for our team. We needed to outsource this project as we do not have web developers on our team.

We wanted the new Customer Profiles to be:

We were working with another firm recommended to us by our IT advisor and it wasn't going as planned. Our PR Firm recommended Absolute Marketing Solutions and after the initial meeting, we were on board with their WordPress site solution.

After our initial call with the Absolute Marketing Solutions team, they had a proposal and outline of the site ready for us within a week. After approving the proposal the team began on our project right away and within a week we had a working sample of about 5 company profiles to review and make sure everything was working as intended.
he original draft needed very minimal updates and most were errors on our end. The project was completed within a month and was exactly what we discussed in the initial meeting!
What was the team composition?
We worked directly with the President and 1 Developer for our project needs. Both were great at communicating project status and updates with us.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The new design achieved everything we were looking for. The site is much easier to use and get information from, it's much more secure than our old system and we have control over who can update the information. Updating the profiles is very straight forward and everyone has been super excited about the move over to this new system.

The team we worked with was awesome. Very responsive, quick but thorough on any updated/changes requested. We communicated via email and zoom meetings as this was not a very large WP project it was easy to keep everything in email format streamlining the process.

We had a 30-minute initial call with the President of the company and in less than a week he had a visual representation of EXACTLY what we were looking for and the proposal and quote were in line with our budget and included everything discussed on the call.

Alfred was in a business group with the owner of our firm, and we reached out to him for some feedback. We wanted to keep the ball rolling after that initial conversation, so we kept engaging him until Absolute Mobile eventually became our marketing partner.

I'm very pleased with their project management. They provide us with a monthly report, accounting for spend and deliverables. We also go over everything in a monthly meeting and stay in touch through email as needed.

Be open to all their suggestions. At first, we had a very set approach, but after we learned to trust their suggestions, their advice started to pay off.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the senior brand and training director for a restaurant group with about 18 locations.
What challenge were you trying to address with Absolute Mobile Solutions?
We started off as a small restaurant group and wanted to make sure our online assets were both appealing and up to date as we started to grow. We were looking for a vendor to oversee the functionality and user-friendliness of our sites.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Absolute develops websites based on designs our graphic designer provides. They make recommendations on how we can best achieve our goals while maintaining each site. We've divided a lot of the work into phases, so their team can help with various brands. Initially, they helped clean up and modernize our original website. They're now going through each brand site and helping to customize each one.
