In 2017, the prospective development department had a difficult task to update the outdated version within 6 months.

The Internet bank is made in the Saas application paradigm. All information is transmitted once to the user's browser, then JavaScript substitutes the interface elements on the screen without reloading the page. Data exchange with bank processing takes place in real time with the help of the developed REST

api.

The user can pick up in the online mode the required deposit for the chosen currency. Information about actual deposits comes automatically from the processing of the bank. The calculator online transmits the basic information of the request through api to processing, and it returns a list of appropriate deposits.

After choosing the necessary deposit, the user can immediately send money for crediting. The system will process the request and the user will receive a new one in his personal account.

We developed a personal financial manager for bank users. The history of your bank transactions is kept in the bank's processing. If you divide the entire history by date and classify it, we can construct circle diagram for each currency.

Payments are classified (food, restaurants, shopping, etc.). The system can work with all your credit cards and three currencies. It fully takes into account both incomes and expenses.

The current version of the Internet bank was developed as an independent web application. We designed the application as three independent items.

The result of our collaboration is high marks from the relevant portals of the country. In the UX project, Infobank gave 103 points to the retail bank. It made BelVEB the second bank in the country on the number of functions and services. It is significant that all services operate well and without complaints.

The task is to develop a catalog, get the late sizes and the latest models from the manufacturer's warehouse, prices and availability of ready-made clothes. The client can find information in a personal account, where the manager works with personal prices and conditions. The project should be developed on the basis of content management system Bitrix and 1C: ERP 8.2 (Enterprise Resource Planning), as a program for working with

the warehouse and the customer loyalty system.
After the first meeting with Devita we decided to try to implement the project under the program of support and development of small and medium- sized business of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The bank's program gives first-time entrepreneurs the opportunity to receive a subsidy for business development.

The marketing department of Beltelekabel set an ambitious task for abiatec not just to develop a new website but also to show fifteen years of enterprise development, make a product catalog, show the diversity of the company's product line. The marketing department will receive not a simple website, but a tool, which will help customers to find the necessary products in the product catalog, get acquainted with

technical characteristics, quickly select appropriate cable products and make an order.

In order to show in detail all the structure features of the cable, the abiatec team in collaboration with the Beltelekabel engineers developed high-polygon cable product renders. Engineers and technologists described the properties of materials and structural features and our designers created these materials using 3ds Max.

In 2015 Joint Stock Company “Stroydetali” decided to make a new version of their online catalog of interior doors. The old corporate website was very limited in functionality and gave information only about the company itself and the fact of door production. Now company and brand ViLario successfully holds positions as leader on the production of interior doors not only in Belarus but also in the CIS countries.

The

products are very well sold in overseas markets and are popular among consumers because of their price and quality characteristics. The new version of website must have corresponded to all contemporary requirements and standards and given an opportunity the user to work with convenient original cost calculator and the calculator of choosing door to the interior.

The task of the design was to enable the user to use the basic functionality of the website in a few clicks. The main feature is the lack of a product card. The user cannot actually make a specific order through the website, but can fully acquaint with the main qualities and possible colours on the listing page and go directly to the page with cost calculator.

The website provides a cost calculator. The user in the section products can acquaint with all the existing functionality. After he chooses the necessary type of door, he can follow a direct link to the page with calculator. Then you can choose the necessary options, colour and size of the door. All properties of the door are unique for each group of products and can be configured additionally by the administrator. Also in the website management system, the administrator can set the cost of each unique storage position depending on the colour and size of the door panel.

The main difficulty in the selection of interior doors is the doubts of buyers about how the door will actually combine with their interior and apartment. We solved this problem with the help of JavaScript and canvas technology. The user can upload any of his photos to the website and select one of the doors by colour. Moreover, the two-dimensional image of the door can be zoomed on the photograph, thereby creating the effect of real presence. If the user likes the resulting image, he can save it to his computer in JPG format.

I am a business development director for RNDpoint which is an IT company located in London, UK.

What challenge were you trying to address with Abiatec?

We needed website development for our company. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had two projects with them. One of them was for website development. It was a website for our company and they successfully completed the project. It was developed using PHP 7, MySQL, and JavaScript. It took us two to three weeks to create the design successfully and then we transmitted all the designs to the coder who coded it to the frontend. It took them two months to develop and I am quite satisfied with the pace of work we were able to establish. They were very fast. On the backend, we used their CMS which they developed and this was quite comfortable for me.

We had another project with them which was for content sketches for our client’s web platform. We weren’t the end client in the case, and more so the contractor. They helped us to adjust the server, prepare the necessary settings for the server setup, and also provided us with their CMS. We then uploaded some content and sketches on it. It turned out to be a project that lasted three to four weeks and was duly performed.

What is the team composition?

We had dedicated resources who were a developer and coder. I could handle them myself which I think was very good. I could avoid having other people in communication or in management which decreased the time to go live

How did you come to work with Abiatec?

I know one of the founders of Abiatec personally, so I think it is a personal thing, but I am still satisfied with the results that they have provided.

How much have you invested in them?

The cumulative cost for both parts was around $35,000–$40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

It was from November 2019, and the projects were completed by May 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They have highly skilled resources on their team. I am quite satisfied with their performance. I would rate the quality of their work a nine out of 10 and this is very high. Not every company can provide such qualified resources. In terms of quality, not only are they technical, but they also have soft skills which are also very important for me. It is very important to find an initial understanding when starting to work with people.

How did Abiatec perform from a project management standpoint?

It was on time and the client was happy with the result. I didn’t want to have the buffer in front of me by having a project manager or coordinator, so I decided to work with dedicated resources to avoid the communication gap. For these two parts, we weren’t tremendously dependent on their tools, and we used email and Skype to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness is the key thing I can say about our cooperation that I was impressed with. In terms of the technical resource skills as well as their soft skills. I could get an immediate answer to any of my issues very quickly.

I like the ability to be able to knock on their door at any time to get their feedback or support.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The project wasn’t big enough to have a lot of headaches with it. It is hard to find something negative.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Knock on their door and give them the task you want to be done. They are very responsive.
