They had extensive experience in this type of projects. He made several other similar implementations of B2B systems for other distributors in Poland.

First, they conducted an audit and performed a detailed business analysis of the project. Then mockups were made and after their approval programming work began.
What was the team composition?
We worked exclusively with Marcin (Project Manager ) who led the team. This was great because the only think we needed was to consult with him, and he took care of everything else.

The project carried out for Megabajt is a key element of the business model. It provides comprehensive support in serving clients and meeting their needs. The system has been very positively received by both the customer, operators and users.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
In this peculiar workshop management, the Project Manager was responsible for supporting Business Analyst and managing the communication between us and 7Apps

the mobile application performed had the following functions: - the application takes pictures of invoices, processes them and automatically converts the invoice amount to the settlement currency - all data is available in the panel for the accounting department, thanks to which the process of verification, accounting and booking of delegations has been very optimized - the system analyzes costs and creates various cost statements - the application works under Android and IOS, Panel for accounting as a Windows application

They designed, developed and launched a new WMS with a production module. In the first stage, they performed a pre-implementation analysis for us. They started programming works when all points of analysis were refined. We worked in 2 week sprints

The team comprised around 5 people. We have closely worked with a project manager, who was our primary contact person.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Thanks to the system we exactly know how many components we have ordered, how many are on the way to warehouse, how many are on stock and also in which warehouse (we have a few localizations in world). We are able quickly and precisely plann production and verify each stage of it. The system also allows us to analyze many parameters related to production, production costs or products movement.

VOLTA Ltd is one of the biggest distributor of security equipment in Poland. Company have been establish in 1987. Currently we have all territory sales network (11 branches) and good recocnizing e-shop (www.ivolta.pl).

We cooperated we many manufactures and distributors. Because they very often change their product prices (MSRP and purchasing prices) we need to upgrade those prices to our ERP system. Until now we did it manualy (for small quantity of items) or with help of our IT staff (for mass upload). Then we decided to found company who will be able to prepare for us software module which will be able to mass upload of new prices.

Save time of our staff and be able to do it without any delay.
How did you select this vendor?
We know 7Apps from other job. Because previously they did it correctly then we decided to do this job with them. Additionlyy they know our ERP system well. It is big advantage because our ERP is not easy to integrate.

In simple words software module prepared by 7Apps transfer prices from excel file to ERP price list database. In detalies there were many additional functions and features. First of all we need to made few type of prices uploads. MSRP prices and purchase prices. The purchase price list must be assigned to a specific supplier and currency.
After upload software module should prepare report where operator can see changes and calculation of changes. Due that Operator will decide what is the next step. Upload or prepare correction. Two step checking give us better control of proces and save operator instead of any mistakes. After upload software module create backup of previous database. It could be helpfully if they did unexpected errors.
Finally system create excel file with list of changes. We can use it as report which we can send to other VOLTA staff. To anounce price changes to sales department for example

Because it was not big job we made it with two dedicated person from our company mostly for testing of beta software version

At the moment our Product Managers are able to upload new prices within few minuts. Previously was sometimes few hours or days... Thank's that they save a lot of their time. additionally we are able to change prices very quickly and without any delay.
