I am the head of digital marketing and operations for a tech startup.
What challenge were you trying to address with 6Minded?
We went through a major brand refresh and rebrand in October 2021, and we hired them to develop, design, and launch a new website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve built the entire website from scratch. After a thorough discovery phase, they’ve migrated everything from our old WordPress website to the new one using Hubspot. We have a set number of pages that we need on our launch date, and their team helps us develop and design each of them. They’ve also advised us on a few SEO-related matters and helped us with the implementation of the technical SEO bits.
The website has already been relaunched, and they’re currently helping us maintain it.
What is the team composition?
We mainly work with Mat (Coordinator) and Piotr (Project Manager), and there are also a lot of people working behind the scenes, including a designer.
How did you come to work with 6Minded?
They were already working with us before I joined the company, but from what I remember, someone from our team had previously worked with 6MInded and recommended them.
How much have you invested in them?
We’ve spent between $10,000–$50,000 USD.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in September 2021, and we are still working together.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve successfully rebranded and relaunched our website. As a result, organic traffic has almost doubled, which is thanks to the new design and all the PR and marketing efforts we’re doing. Our direct traffic has also significantly increased, but I am not able to share any specific numbers.
Furthermore, the new website has massively saved us time. We don’t need to go back and forth if we need any site changes. It’s built very easily and intuitively, so we can just change things on our own and no longer need to contact their team. They have also built some really nice and high-quality templates for us, which has been very beneficial.
Overall, they are a great team to work with. They are very efficient and very good at communication, and I highly recommend them.
How did 6Minded perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management style is good, and they are always on top of things. We have weekly Zoom meetings and review calls twice a week, during which we go through all of the content they’ve prepared and share any feedback. We also use a combination of Figma and Adobe to capture feedback in real-time. They will address the comments, and then we’d get back and review them before making a final decision.
We also manage the project through a Notion board, so everything is tracked very well. We’re able to see the status in real-time and everything is always up to date. Whenever I need to know what is happening with something, I just need to check the board and comment, then wait a couple of hours for a response.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re really impressed with the speed of their responses and their ability to track everything that we’re working on. I know a lot of people try to manage a project properly, but 6Minded keeps it so simple, and they do it really well — I always know what state every task is in. It’s also helpful to know if something can or can’t be completed within the day.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There are a couple of minor things, but they can improve on naming conventions within the templates and following a better structure. That’s the feedback I have given them and they are implementing it as we go.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be open and insist on complete transparency. With all my vendors, I always like to know what the expected timeline is and if something isn’t going to happen on time. They are quite transparent and open, but I think if you can see or ask the status of each task, it will definitely make the engagement a lot better.

I'm the growth lead at a consumer finance company. I'm in charge of lead generation, supporting our sales team, and making sure our leads move through the funnel.
What challenge were you trying to address with 6Minded?
We were starting to use HubSpot, and we needed an experienced vendor to get us up and running.
What was the scope of their involvement?
6Minded did major work on HubSpot for us and assisted with our WordPress domain. Recently, they managed a big automation project that required HubSpot to integrate with a lot of other systems. We sent them a Google sheet with our requirements and they executed them.
What is the team composition?
We have one primary point of contact, but there is a larger team dedicated to our project.
How did you come to work with 6Minded?
We found them on Upwork. They were very responsive, and it was clear from the initial questions that they're real experts in HubSpot.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in October 2017, and the relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We were able to outsource the entire functions without hiring anyone internally. 6Minded created 300 personalized landing pages for us, which allowed us to give customized experience to each of our partners. That would have been a lot of work, but they had a very effective strategy.
The automation project was also a great success. Our communication with customers has improved, and our sales team can save a lot of time. We've been able to process more deals and move leads quickly down the funnel. Our costs per deal also went down.
How did 6Minded perform from a project management standpoint?
They're very responsive and reliable. We've never had any issues with communication even though we're in different time zones. The communication has been effortless. Most of the time, we can send them a link to a Google sheet, and they understand what we need. We also use email and Google Hangouts to stay in touch.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They're very experienced and knowledgeable about HubSpot. They understand our business goals and go above and beyond to help us accomplish them. Also, they're very responsive and provide exceptional customer care.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't think of anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They're extremely well-versed in the domain they're working in, so they'll quickly get you up to speed. Our internal team understands the technical side of the project fairly well, so we could send out a requirement, and they knew how to handle it.

We got immediate value from the EDM's that they build for us. This was something we had not done well in the past and with the help of 6minded started getting more work from our database in response to these emails. We have not opened up the final piece of work on the website and expect to get good results when it is made available.

6minded was able to work very efficiently with minimal oversight. We set up regular meeting that allowed for quick communication.
