- modern technologies and being client-oriented
- US license and possibility to work with the US currency
From the technical point of view, Arival is a platform that unites the best of the best.
E-payments, bank card issuing, online accounting, invoice creating — all of it exists already, but now Arival has provided a single platform for all of this.
The bank is ready and will be launched as soon as a license gets.

Contplat
Contplat is an international marketplace uniting sellers and buyers of licenses for TV and cinema and taking copyright into consideration, all of it using blockchain-based smart-contacts.

All the components, including Blockchain, are written using a modern technology stack.

Overbox
The project is a web-platform, online-wallet, chat (browser extension) and a forum for discussion of crypto-stocks performance.
At the registration step, a troll character is generated for the user, who will be able to use this troll as their avatar.
For their comments, the users can get coins for inner use from other users.
The user can spend these coins on developing and modifying of their troll.
The user can also sell their troll or buy a new one in a special market. And all of this is... wait for it… blockchain-based! (almost crypto-kittens)

A.ID is a product that allows to fully digitalize the process of checking legal entities and people.
It’s the first ever service focused on business clients, especially those in the risk zone.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the founder of Circus Intersection, and we bring together digital strategy and custom development for web, Facebook, and mobile applications.
What challenge were you trying to address with 4xxi?
We wanted to create a promotional site for the international competition Woolmark Prize. This involved a unique visual algorithm by which our users could create and promote derivative works based on 12 pieces by leading designers. The challenge was to launch the website in a very limited amount of time.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We provided 4xxi the concept of the project, as well as the designs. We needed the front and backend of the website and server infrastructure, which included setup and support. Due to the limited time we had to do this, we had a lot of calls to finalize the scope.
The competition had international designers take pictures of their models and clothing. They wanted people to be able to manipulate that image and have every person re-manipulate either the original image or the next image down, then change it a bit more so that everyone could have an influence. You would be able to view the evolution and the timeline of that image as people applied different effects to the image itself.
Due to this, we had to have a different algorithm, because if there were too many people only focusing on one type of effect, then it could get boring. Therefore, we had an algorithm that loaded the most recent picture, but that was also based on the least, or most used effect so that you would actually get a good sense of what people were doing to the image. They were involved in helping us create that algorithm.
They handled the entire project after I gave them the specs and layout directions. I asked how we were going to build the website and launch it, because we needed to do it very quickly, and we knew they were going to have a big influx of traffic. They helped us with server infrastructure, and everything involved with delivery and optimization of the layout for desktop, tablet, and mobile. We were allowing people to play around with the images and manipulate them, so it was extremely important the site was functional on all platforms. They used PHP, HTML5, and a few different plugins.
The app needed to load quickly, so it had to be lightweight even though it was loading very heavy images. They had to really streamline the delivery of making sure the images that were going to be manipulated were being sent in different formats for various devices. The manipulation of the images that people were doing with their fingers or mouses would also have to be rendered on different resolutions as well, to ensure it would be visible across all platforms. We had an impossible timeline, but 4xxi made it happen.
What is the team dynamic?
There were 5 people working on the project.
How did you come to work with 4xxi?
I’ve been working with them for 15 years. I’ve known them for a long time.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $10,000-$50,000 with them.
What is the status of the engagement?
The project began in December 2015 and was completed in 1 month. The project was delivered on time.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They gave us another project, so the clients were very happy. The competition had a substantial amount of entries and Woolmark got some world recognition as a contest. It’s been an interesting approach because they got the community involved in participating with actual designers, as well as being a part of the entire process.
How did 4xxi perform from a project management standpoint?
We got weekly feedback and communicated daily through Skype, phone calls, and email. The project needed to be finished quickly, so if we needed anything from each other, the response was immediate and simple.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re a trained IT team, and they’re not just developers that learned on their own. They’re engineers and mathematicians. They learn how to do very high-end work with SAP protocols, and they have a very systematic approach to how they work.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I haven’t given them a project yet that they couldn’t handle. They’ve always delivered.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a director and the Co-Founder of Challenge Social. Challenge Social is an app that allows users to create and engage in fun or serious challenges with their friends, family or people at the top of their game. Its aimed at bringing together communities with similar interests and providing them with a platform to engage in healthy competetion.
For what projects/services did your company hire 4xxi?
We needed somebody to re develop our mobile aplication on both IOS & Android and code our website. We had already spent a whole year with a company developing these until we realised they had created us a terrible platform with 0 insurance & liablity. They really let us down and it took us a while to find a company we could trust.
What were your goals for this project?
To Create a world class platfrom that could be scaled on both IOS & Android and eventually web. To build a brand that could support the competetive communities worldwide. Scale over the coming year and continue to add features from our road map.
How did you select 4xxi?
After lots of talks and recommendations from people we trust we started the process of planning and scoping the workload. And from day one they proved them selves.
Describe the project in detail.
We needed to create a native IOS and Android App to be scaled, 4XXI assured us a high quality code. They have done exactly that. We will contiue to work with 4XXI for the foreable future. The project has had to be completely re designed and coded from day one of working with 4XXI. They have given above and beyond to get us to where we are today.
What was the team composition?
We had 1 Backend Developer We had 2 IOS Devs We had 2 Android Devs We had a QA We had a BA We had a project manager Very reliable and excellent communication.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the VP of engineering for Virool. We are a video advertising and branding firm that prioritizes entertainment. We work with large brands to create video content to share online.
For what projects/services did your company hire 4xxi?
Our internal engineering team was overwhelmed by our project’s scope, so we were looking for a reliable partner to help us build our platform on time and on budget.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted a user interface for our advertising platform that was easy to support. Because our platform had multiple iterations, each needed a custom-tailored UI design.
How did you select this vendor?
We reached out to several software service providers following recommendations from colleagues. We got quotes and proposals from each of them. 4xxi offered the best terms and I decided to bring them aboard.
Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?
4xxi worked on the UI elements of our customer analytics dashboard for our advertising platform. Eventually, they took over the entire dashboard, which included billing, campaign management, and analytics reports.
What was the team composition?
We mainly worked with a team of five. There was a project manager, a QA specialist, and three engineers. At our request, we used an agile methodology to help us keep the team aligned and autonomous. As our demands changed over time, 4xxi appropriately rotated and scaled their team.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
With the help of 4xxi, we were able to launch our platform on time and stayed within our budget. Over time, we were able to get funding from top investors in Silicon Valley.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
I delegated projects and the 4xxi team acted independently. Their project manager efficiently managed their side so I didn’t have to spend much time instructing them.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was very impressed by the quality of their work and their development speed. They finished the first draft within the first two months.
Are there any areas where they can improve?
It would have been nice if 4xxi has Ruby on Rails in their stack. They would’ve been able to help with more of the project.
4xxi remained highly communicative during this project to ensure delivery of time-sensitive software. Due to their expertise, dedication, and systematic approach, the application has received world recognition.
