Global CNC Industries Web Project
Global CNC’s two main audiences, distributors and machinists, were not able to quickly take the actions they required. This less than ideal user experience was dissonant with the company’s focus on customers and quality.

Jaco Inc. Website Redesign + Product Catalog
We broke this massive project up into more manageable phases allowing us to stay on task and complete the project on time with exceptional results. Our three-phase approach included:

– Created an EVO Microsite to wow their prospective customers and highlight their flagship cart, the EVO. We built a microsite for Jaco that did just that as well as included contact pages, and multiple customer support features.
– Redesign and update the Jaco website with revised site copy, an EVO Cart Configurator, a custom part list, and a special feature of that included the ability for customers and/or EVO sales reps to add parts from the Parts Library to an interactive and shareable custom list.
Jaco, Inc. has a lot to look forward to as their new website is used by more and more current and potential customers. We are expecting Jaco to enjoy an increase in sales, exposure to new customers and markets, as well as increased conversion rates.

Web Redesign for Electrical Contractor

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work in the human resources and business development departments of Brayer Electric Company. We’re an electrical contractor based in the Bay Area.
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
We needed their team’s design expertise.
What was the scope of their involvement?
3 Media Web’s initial work for us centered around website redesign to support our rebranding efforts. Their team conducted thorough research to determine the trends and themes we could apply to our new platform. Upon collating the results, 3 Media Web then finalized the color scheme, font styles, and other design elements that they integrated into our updated WordPress platform.
Apart from implementing a new tech stack to update the UX and format of our existing website, 3 Media Web devised a 3-D viewing option for the images displayed on our website. We provided them with the rest of the site content, which we needed to be featured on the platform.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Kelsey (Senior Project Manager) and a web designer.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
3 Media Web’s team was recommended to our company’s owner. We scheduled a quick meeting with them, and we were happy to onboard their team for their impressive presentation and portfolio.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our project ran from August 2020–July 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve only recently concluded the redesign project, so there are no quantitative metrics to share yet. However, I could confirm that 3 Media Web delivered a sophisticated and professional-looking platform that gained our users’ and staff’s approval — it was a great start to our overall rebranding efforts.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
We mainly communicated via email and Zoom. 3 Media Web was a persistent and compassionate team that understood and met our requirements despite the challenges caused by the pandemic. They took our feedback into ample consideration and made sure to keep us in the loop at all times.
What did you find most impressive about them?
3 Media Web delivered our needs and respected our ideas under any circumstances.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could work on improving their background knowledge of their client’s industry. In our case, we would’ve benefitted from amplified assistance in generating industry-specific content.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Trust 3 Media Web’s team to guide you throughout the process and deliver the results your business needs.

Custom Website Dev for Nonprofit Organization
"They deliver on time with a smile. It’s a refreshing change for us. All their staff members are excellent."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work for an employment-support related nonprofit. I’m the VP of marketing facilities and IT.
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
We had two separate websites — one for our affiliate agency and one for a program that our affiliate agency ran — that we needed to combine on WordPress. There was a tight timeframe of just under two months to design and develop this new website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our affiliate is a private nonprofit organization that serves low-income individuals through community block grants. Their programs include healthcare, child care, tax preparation, and nutrition.
The purpose of the website was to educate people on the programs in their area and how they can access them. It’s an informational website, and we added a bar that gives the reader updated information.
Robbie (Former Creative Director) asked us questions to understand what we were looking for and how our affiliate organization viewed themselves. He then came back with an unbelievably designed homepage. It portrayed the agency as very caring and philanthropic. We made minor tweaks and quickly moved on to work with Jenny (Senior Project Manager) to develop the site. The main step of that process was our approval of a site map.
What is the team composition?
The kick-off meeting was with Mark (Founder & Chief Helper). He introduced us to Robbie and Jenny, who are very efficient and supportive. They display amazing turnaround times and response times. We have an answer to an email within a few hours. This makes the process very easy for us.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
Prior to this project, we brought them to maintain a different website, so we were already familiar with them when they submitted a proposal. We selected their team because the fee was within our budget and they had a positive track record with us. I requested references for all the other bidders and asked direct questions. I got rave reviews from all of 3 Media Web’s references, including one person who responded to me while on vacation in Florida.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $50,000–$100,000 with them on the website design.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together on the website since April 2021. 3 Media Web has been providing maintenance since the launch in late June.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
3 Media Web had to accomplish a miracle, as we had only a short window of time to get a new website, and we’ve had a lot of positive feedback. Even though it’s only been up for less than a month, the people who’ve gone to the website have given great responses. From our board of directors and staff to our customers, everyone has found the site easy to navigate and informative. The design is clear and works well. There are no glitches.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re excellent and really professional. They stick to a schedule and deliver within the promised timeframe. We mostly communicate through email, Google Docs, phone calls, and Google Meet. Since the initial meetings, we’ve primarily spoken through email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their number one characteristic is their listening. When I saw our website design, it was clear that they listened to everything we said. It was amazing. I’m also amazed by how efficient they are.
Additionally, the people that they have working for them are unbelievable, including the website support coordinator/junior project manager that maintains our other website that 3Media Web came onboard to service a year ago. Everyone on their team is courteous, customer-service oriented, and professional.
Their professionalism stands out — the fact that they do what they say they’re going to do is great. They deliver on time with a smile. It’s a refreshing change for us. All their staff members are excellent, knowledgeable, and professional. I don’t think that you can ask for more than that.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t say at the moment because they’ve done everything right.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Listen to 3 Web Media’s advice because they know their stuff. They’ll work with you and listen to you. You can take or leave their suggestions, but they’re knowledgeable in their field.

Web Dev & Social Media for Brand Protection Company
‘‘I think it’s great that they’re a full-service firm.’’
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the COO for a brand protection and consumer engagement company.
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
We were going under a complete re-branding and re-messaging in our business. We also wanted to update our website with a new look, feel, and navigation. In addition to that, we wanted to be able to share the new look of our company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed a new website on WordPress for us. In terms of features, it has multiple pages based on different product lines that we offer, and we wanted to ensure that our global footprint was properly represented on it, which it is. It also has a good investor page we wanted because we’re a publicly-traded company, so we needed to make sure that investors could get updated information about our business.
The next step for us is a complete social media marketing campaign as an ongoing effort to ensure we’re making brand awareness for our business in the marketplace. We’re a business-facing company, so we’re focusing on LinkedIn, Google Ads, and a little bit of Facebook.
What is the team composition?
Our main point of contact has consistently been Mary (Account Manager), but we’re also working with Stephanie (Senior Digital Marketing) for the social media and advertising efforts.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
We were going through one of the websites they developed. We were impressed with it, and it turned out that 3 Media Web were the builders for that site, so we decided on going with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $100,000 with them so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since November 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s all about the new look of our site. Everybody’s been happy, and we’ve been getting high feedback. The next phase or success measurement will be more metric-driven since it’s going to be about the social media marketing campaign.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
We had regularly scheduled meetings during the development process; now that we moved into the social media marketing phase, we’ll have meetings twice a month. We have overall good communication with them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I think it’s great that they’re a full-service firm; they’re capable of doing web development, design, and social media campaigns — that’s a great feature.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.
Any advice for potential customers?
I recommend going with a full-service company in case you’re going for a complete re-branding project. If you go with a single company to provide all those efforts, you’ll avoid any time of hand-off confusion throughout the process.

Web Redesign & Development for Law Firm

the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Marketing Director at the Law Offices of Daniel A. Hunt. We're a small Trust & Estate law firm in Sacramento.
For what projects/services did your company hire 3 Media Web?
We hired 3 Media Web to redesign our website and provide ongoing website support. We also recently hired them for assistance in digital marketing.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We interviewed 3 companies for the website design project. We were impressed with 3 Media Web's specificity with regards to the project, the custom video they made for us explaining the various stages of the project, and their design skills based on the samples they shared.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Our executive team first met virtually with the owner and designer to discuss our needs and vision for the new site. Next, we were presented with 2 designs to choose from. Then we worked with the project manager to create new content for the site. Their team also imported some information from the previous site, like our blog posts. Finally, the new site launched in March.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We've worked with at least 6-8 people including the owner, project manager, designer, client service manager, tech services manager, digital marketing project manager.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our website is performing phenomenally well. The number of users has doubled since the new design. We are also seeing a higher number of conversions.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Their processes are clear and run smoothly. They are proactive and organized. We never had to wonder what was happening; the next step was always clearly laid out for us.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The processes and systems are well-thought-out and work effectively. As a result, projects run very smoothly, creating a superior level of client service. Everyone with whom we've worked has been helpful and knowledgeable.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not that I can think of.

WordPress Web Dev & Design for Network Software Provider
“3 Media Web was on top of everything, and any little bug we found was fixed almost instantaneously.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
LiveAction is a network performance management software provider. We work with Fortune 500 companies to help give them analytical and personal insights into their networks. Our platform is meant to help organizations reduce their operational overhead and any important downtimes. We help them optimize the strength of their network, something really important these days where the networks are strained from the amount of remote activity.
I’m the director of demand generation within the company, and I oversee our demand generation, content marketing, website, digital business development, and marketing operations.
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
When I joined LiveAction, my first order of business was to take on our website and create a better, more optimized experience for our users and prospects.
What was the scope of their involvement?
3 Media Web originally came in to help us with digital auditing. They evaluated our SEO optimization and best practices tracking conversion. We put that on pause and quickly went to rebuild our entire website — we didn’t want to optimize our current experience because we felt it would be a waste of time.
What 3 Media Web did for the last five months was to rebuild our website. They also acted as our support arm as we got rid of our internal web resources to help maintain and troubleshoot our existing website. They needed to maintain it up and running while they were building the new experience.
The new site was built in WordPress. One of the key features that I wanted it to have was a flat and friendly design. I also required them to create pillar page content assets with SEO-friendly content. I wanted to create stronger navigation and graphical representation of our business and products to make us look like a modern software company. Ultimately, I wanted our website to become the foundation where we could build and expand our offers, start to go after best practices, and be able to do some more creative and out-of-the-box things with it.
What is the team composition?
Kelsey (Senior Project Manager) was our main point of contact.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
My boss heard about 3 Media Web through some people who had worked with them before. We had already engaged with them for digital consulting, so I reviewed their portfolio work and decided to choose them to kick off the project and get it going.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $55,000–$60,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We first engaged with 3 Media Web in December 2020 for the digital services, and the website project started in January 2021. We launched the site at the beginning of May 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve been measuring the conversions, traffic, performance, bounce rates, and Lighthouse scores, and we're beyond pleased with 3 Media Web’s work. I’ve done many site launches in the past and, in some cases, we had to roll back to the old site. This project was one of the most painless website experiences I’ve ever had.
3 Media Web was on top of everything, and any little bug we found was fixed almost instantaneously. They were very responsive, and the project went really well.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
3 Media Web used a project management tool, but I don’t remember how it was called. We had a bi-weekly check-in, and Kelsey had her Calendly open. If anything urgent came up, I would just put our time on her calendar, and we would meet to work through whatever we needed to do pretty quickly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
3 Media Web’s overall responsiveness was impressive. They offered very quick turnaround times and knew what they were doing. They were very flexible to accommodate what we were looking for, even if there were slight changes to the original scope.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing 3 Media Web could improve on — I was very pleased with their work. If anything, there were little things I would have changed, but I wouldn’t even really complain about them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Definitely work with 3 Media Web. They’re very knowledgeable and partner-centric, and they’ll be very invested in you — your success is their success.
Focus on being on top of your timeline, know what that is, and make sure that it’s well documented and communicated to them. If they know your timeline and what you want, they can make your project happen.

WordPress Web Dev for Post-Acute Senior Living Facilities
“To be able to get 10 websites up and running during a pandemic was a major feat for us, and we’re very proud of that.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re the parent organization of a healthcare system that manages 10 post-acute senior living facilities. My role is as the integrated communications manager.
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
We partnered with 3 Media Web to update each of our facilities’ websites.
What was the scope of their involvement?
3 Media Web worked with us to update nine facility websites and create one from scratch. A lot of the project was really just updating the sites and making them responsive so that they could be viewed across desktops and mobile devices. So many individuals now use tablets and smartphones to navigate the web, particularly for our audience, which includes children looking for accommodations for aging parents.
To meet those needs, 3 Media Web worked with our internal graphic designer to create a standard mobile-responsive design template that we could use for each site. For instance, we could change the color palette to match a particular living facility’s branding and update the copy as needed, but the basic framework on the backend was all the same — it was built using a WordPress instance.
The team also migrated these sites onto their own servers so that we could manage them under one umbrella. We would have a master login that allows us to edit and maintain all of the sites, whereas each living facility would have their own separate login for their respective site. After we launched, this setup also facilitated our communication with the public in regards to what was going on with COVID-19. We were able to implement warning pop-ups on home pages to alert families of changing visitation policies due to COVID-19 rates.
What is the team composition?
Jenny (Senior Project Manager) was our primary project manager, and we also communicated with Mark (CEO).
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
There was already an existing relationship between 3 Media Web and some of my colleagues. They’d created and hosted a website for one of our other post-acute communities, so we decided to have them take on our other websites, too, because we were so happy with that arrangement.
How much have you invested with them?
CONFIDENTIAL. $50,000–$200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project took off around September 2019, and we finished everything that was in our terms of service. Currently, we have two more websites to do that are separate from the original 10, so we plan to start a new agreement with 3 Media Web for them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
2020 was the first year we had our Google Analytics set up to start benchmarking data. With the pandemic, we saw a huge increase in traffic that’s continued going into 2021. The sites have gotten a lot more interactions from families asking for more information about our facilities because they can’t do in-person tours right now. Now, we’re following up by thinking through ways to do virtual tours or at least showcase our facilities through the site.
There’s also been a lot of great feedback both from our internal leadership and employees. Having the sites under one umbrella has given us a mechanism to communicate what’s going on in each facility.
At the same time, these sites have been a great way for our facilities to showcase what they’re doing in their particular towns and cities. A lot of these organizations were started by sisterhoods of nuns — we want to pass that tradition down to the next generation of people in those communities.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
We shared an ongoing Google spreadsheet but also used Content Snare to edit our content. Our team would take our copy, images, and assets in Word Doc and input it into Content Snare’s architecture. Then, Jenny and her team would input that into WordPress for us. They also enabled some feedback tools when we were getting into beta testing. We could quickly take screenshots of screens that didn’t quite look right and request adjustments. It was easy to communicate that way.
Finally, we had weekly check-in calls with Jenny, and she was always available whenever we needed her via phone or email. There were even times when she responded to us while she was traveling. She’d let us know which one of her teammates was there to cover for her, so we always felt really cared for by the team.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We really couldn’t have done this without 3 Media Web’s technical expertise and support. As a small nonprofit, we just didn’t have the bandwidth to handle this project. However, to be able to get 10 websites up and running during a pandemic was a major feat for us, and we’re very proud of that.
It’s been great to have their team be with us on our journey. They’ve brought us to the next step by providing us with the right strategy and information to move forward. We’re now able to access individuals through different technologies, and they’re helping us think about where we can go next.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We’ve actually discussed this with Mark at our recent project roundup. Occasionally, there are times when small QA items get missed in the larger realm of the project. However, we understand that there are a lot of moving parts with web development projects like ours, so things sometimes fall through the cracks. They’ve been receptive to our feedback and have used this as an opportunity for their team to grow.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Selecting the right tech partner is not an easy choice when there are so many developers out there doing WordPress and content management. You need to do your due diligence. Find out as much as you can about different vendors — ask them questions, look for examples of projects they’ve done that are similar to yours, and have discussions with them.
You’ll want to find a team that will get to know your organization because that’s where the differentiator comes in. Mark and his team did a really good job of getting to know the culture of both our parent organization and our individual sites. This really helped them harness each facility’s individual voice to convey what made those communities different and special.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Senior Web Director at Americares, a global health-focused relief and development organization that saves lives and improves health for people affected by poverty or disaster,
For what projects/services did your company hire 3 Media Web, and what were your goals?
In the first year of our new WordPress sites and during a global pandemic, Americares needed to develop some new dynamic landing pages that served the content rising from the unprecedented nature of the crisis and our work to support health workers and health facilities.
How did you select 3 Media Web and what were the deciding factors?
We had considered 3 Media Web previously for another project and were impressed by the quality of their work and the integrated package of services they offered.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We began with a requirements session that included creative concepts and then provided existing content as a starting point. The site is hosted on Google Cloud Services and managed services are provided by another agency. We set up a design approval and review process for their work in a prep site. Through an efficient process of idea/execution and review the initial landing page was developed/refined/tested/approved and moved into production. The first page has served us extremely well, We were impressed with the entire creative process and the final result.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Worked with a designer, developer and project manager.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The page has continued to be one of our top ten pages in terms of traffic, time on site, and very low bounce rate. The custom blocks have made daily content updates easy, The blocks have also proven useful in building other site pages
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
3Media met our timelines and ongoing communication was excellent. They really listened in the process and engaged in a productive conversation along the way.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The quality of the work is first rate. The level of communication is excellent; they really pay attention to client needs. When we work with an outside vendor, we look for a true partner. Americares does most of its work around the world using a partnership model, and so we value the kind of working relationship that is built on trust. We discovered that we can trust 3 Media to deliver. And that means we are planning to do more work with them.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
None.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m with Tri-Star Design Inc. I’m in account management and business development.
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
We wanted a website that better reflected our current services. We wanted the website to stand out amongst competitors in our market. We launched a website 5–6 years ago but weren’t happy with its upgradability. It was stagnant and wasn’t what we envisioned.
What was the scope of their involvement?
3 Media Web developed a new website on WordPress for us. They first gathered our objectives, and we gave them examples of our competitors’ websites. Their team looked at our website and then did research.
They put together a project plan and met with us to let us know the expectations for each phase of the development. Their team also let us know about our different responsibilities in each phase of the project.
We spent a number of weeks going through the development phase with them, gathering information, putting the details together, and creating all the content. At the same time, their team provided different options for the site’s display, visuals, and flow. They gave us options for the pages and told us why they thought each page was important.
When all the content was provided, they finalized the website. We reviewed it one final time prior to launch. At launch, their team provided training for how to update the site, add new content, and keep it fresh. They also gave us tips about using LinkedIn for digital marketing purposes.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 5–6 people from 3 Media Web.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
The president of our company found 3 Media Web online. We looked at their work and it seemed that they could put together a product that hit our target market. It looked to us that they had an understanding of the types of customers that we were trying to focus on.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the project in August 2019 and it wrapped up in February 2020. We’ll continue to work with them in other ways going forward.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Right away, I had a couple of different leads that came through the website. Folks have noticed the new website. We’ve seen an uptick in folks saying that they found us through the platform. I’ve had people compliment the site too. Also, 3 Media's trainings allowed us to drive more people to the website.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
It was a pleasure to work with 3 Media. They told us exactly what to expect. Their team held consistent status meetings and discussions about their work. At each phase, we had weekly status calls. We understood each week’s work expectations. There was never a point when we didn’t know where we were in the process. Their team did a great job with communication and staying on schedule. They drove to the end date.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I enjoyed working with each of the members of their team. They had people on the team with different skillsets who were brought in as needed. You could see that the different folks on their team were valuable in their different roles. Their team was professional, engaging, and added value. They were professional and engaging. It was a pleasant experience working with them from start to finish.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t think so.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
What they can do is only as good as the input that you provide. From a content perspective, make sure that you’re staying on top of what you’re bringing to the table. It’s not a hands-off process. Understand that you’re going to have to provide content about your business and have a vision for what you’re trying to accomplish.

WordPress Web Dev & Digital Strategy for Retail Coin Dealer
“Nothing seems to phase them. They’ve been able to do anything we’ve asked without a problem.”

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the owner of an online retail coin dealership. We operate as a boutique of a somewhat limited selection of high-end coins.
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
Our old site was proprietary and ancient, so we needed to update it. At the same time, we needed to keep all of our content because, often, people find our site because they’re looking to buy or sell a specific coin, so it’s really important for us to have our historic listings still on the site.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They did a custom website design for WordPress, WooCommerce implementation, coin database, MailChimp integration, and migrated content from a proprietary CMS. We have a tremendous amount of content. We do a lot of blogging, we have different categories of inventory, so it was a comprehensive project. We also wanted to migrate a lot of our old content to the new site.
Our competitors present their coins in a very similar way, and it’s not that compelling. So we did not want that. We wanted to stand out in the industry. We wanted our design to be more unique and interesting, and the e-commerce aspect was secondary.
Going forward, we wanted to make sure we could keep editing and changing it throughout the years.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 6–8 people at different time.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
It was challenging to find someone who could execute the way we wanted to. I talked to a few who regularly built sites for coin dealers, but I didn’t want to have a basic site, and I talked to a few others. Additionally, I wanted a partner to be a partner who would take ownership with me and treat it like their own business.
I chose 3 Web Media because they’re really different. They were remarkably calm, and they would often answer my questions before I was done asking them. They knew what we wanted to achieve, so I was confident that they could do it.
What is the status of this engagement?
It lasted from May 2019–April 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
This week, we released our mailing list for the first time since the new website was launched, and the reaction was fantastic. We sold the most coins we’ve ever sold on that date. That kind of commercial reaction is thrilling.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
I thought they were great in terms of communication and deadlines. Whatever they promised they would do, they got it done on their own schedule. We have one direct contact.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I love that they’re down to earth and practical. Nothing seems to phase them. They’ve been able to do anything we’ve asked without a problem. They always line out how it’s going to happen.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not really.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have a clear understanding of what you want to accomplish going into the project.

Web Design for Wireless Firm
“They’re our support company and our partner for life.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Respondent 1: I am creatively the heart of the marketing team. My role is basically overseeing and producing branded content and collateral for the web page.
Respondent 2: I’m the VP of marketing for Parallel Wireless. I run all internal and external marketing activities, including our digital channels. My team is responsible for the website, social media, product marketing, corporate marketing, product positioning, company positioning, and so on.
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
R1: They helped us redesign the website. The project was very important because it allowed us to represent who we truly are. For the six years, we’ve been in stealth mode. It was a small company, and we didn’t want to attract a lot of negativity from competition, and we didn’t want to get crushed by it.
We’ve been working with some key mobile operators in the global telecom industry, so we knew that we had some big announcements from those customers coming out, and that’s why we engaged with 3 Media Web.
What was the scope of their involvement?
R1: We had to completely redesign our website, putting out all the content we’d been hiding for six years. So, when all those announcements came out, we would look like the industry leader we were. Because of our leadership in the industry, those big companies were selecting us as their vendor.
When we first engaged in 2017, we outlined our short- and long-term goals, but we weren’t able to run the project then. They came up with a two-phased plan, first for redesigning the website and moving us to a more robust hosting company, and secondly for supporting our needs as we built out pages and developed new content.
What is the team composition?
R1: We had 2–3 key points of contact. Ryan (UI Designer) was the overall lead, Mike (Technical Services Manager) was instrumental in the execution part, Sara (Director of Operations) was on the operational side, and Rachel (Client Services Manager) was our technical support lead and was always in the background.
I was always working with the leadership team. They were my sounding board, and they came to give us the guidance and support we needed. Marc (Co-Founder and CEO) and Lysa (Co-Founder and President) were always in the background supporting us. Though we worked with some key people on the execution front, the whole team was behind this project, to make it successful.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
R1: We selected 3 Media Web because, just like us, they’re a young and thriving startup with an energetic, agile team that’s innovative and customer-centric. They had the same DNA as our company. We talked to two companies: a large company in California and 3 Media Web. Marc and I connected well—we understood each other. We’re a small, nimble team that wants to help customers. 3 Media Web wanted to develop our business because they’re a startup just like us.
How much have you invested with them?
R1: We’ve spent $35,000–$40,000 with them, which is much less than what we’d have spent with any larger company. For the amount of support we received, the value is absolutely unbelievable.
What is the status of this engagement?
R1: We started working with 3 Media Web in March or April 2019, and it’s an ongoing relationship.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
R1: When partners and customers look at our website, they’re impressed with the quality and the usability of it. It looks like we spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on it, but we didn’t. They gave us a high-end product without us having to pay for it.
We tripled the number of visitors, which is important for us, given how small our industry is. Especially now, when everyone is working from home, we reach our audiences primarily through digital channels. In a small industry, when the number of visitors has tripled, this metric super important.
We’ve had a lot of return visitors through the support of 3 Media Web. They constantly help us update pages and push new content out much faster than we’d been able to do it on our own, so the return rate is much higher as well. They’re our support company and our partner for life.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
R1: Their performance was absolutely amazing. Originally, our project was falling off the tracks. We were a bit of a difficult client, and the creative direction from our design team was slowing down the process. The project was put back on track by July, but, amazingly, 3 Media Web launched the website by October.
They absolutely understood its importance and adjusted the timelines. They worked just as hard as us to help link the content and QA the website. They became an integral part and an extension of our marketing team. They not oR2y have excellent project management skills, but they were also passionate and cared about the project as much as us.
R2: They definitely cared as much as we did, in order to get the website launched in our timeframe. Mike was emailing with us weekly, if not daily, to make sure the project stayed on track and that we were able to upload everything into their tool and get it set up to make the launch. If it wasn’t for 3 Media Web being there and carrying us through the project, I don’t think it would’ve been done.
What did you find most impressive about them?
R1: They connect with their customers, and don’t just see them as another number or dollar sign. They’re able to understand the customer’s challenges and translate them into amazing results. They don’t push what they think is best; they work with us, hold our hand, and help us develop the website that works for us and our audiences, and that can evolve along with our company’s business needs and audience.
Are there any areas they could improve?
R1: They need to push harder on difficult clients like us. They were just a little bit too nice in the beginning. 3 Media Web has a fine bunch of people, and I’d select them if I needed to redesign the website, or if I needed to use them for a future company. We don’t see ourselves working with any other companies than 3 Media Web, going forward in the future.
R2: They were a great resource, and it’s hard to give any other critical comments.
Proving their unmatched design prowess, 3 Media Web rewarded the client with a sophisticated platform that elevated their services, securing user and staff affirmations. The team was commended for their resilient and accommodating nature, delivering on-point solutions despite any challenges,
