We were in the middle of an e-commerce build with another developer that had been going on for over two years. 2buy1click Ltd was brought on to take us over line and fix bugs and issues. They did an excellent job.

What was the scope of their involvement?
I’m not sure what technology they used, but they have a team of developers across Europe with different skillsets. They assigned one developer to us who had problem-solving skills and could fix the code. All their people come from a telecoms and engineering background and are knowledgeable about functionality. They know how to make things work smoothly.
During one instance when the website went down, due to issues with code from the previous developer, they jumped on it right away. The site was back up in ten minutes, whereas, with the previous vendor, it would have involved lots of paperwork and documentation and extra payment.

Everyone’s been quite impressed. We had such a hard time with the previous developer with things being slow and incorrect. It’s very refreshing to get it right the first time. I’ve been impressed.
How did 2buy1click Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?
It’s excellent. They have a project manager there, and we have a weekly call. They also have several god developers, so, if someone leaves down the road, somebody else will be able to step in.
There’s also a ticketing system that lets us log and respond via email. It instantly updates their system and directs developers on what to prioritize. They’ve been really transparent, breaking down everything they work on every month, for how long, and at what price.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The enthusiasm director has is outstanding. When I speak to them, they sound different from other directors I’ve interacted with. They got our problems and what we needed straight away, providing valid suggestions right on the spot. They know their stuff and are experts. I’ve spoken to a lot of technical people and know how to spot jargon. I feel like I’m in safe hands.

I was employed as the Digital Marketing Co-ordinator for STV International Ltd, a leading manufacturer of DIY pest control products that is home to the household brand for rodent control, The Big Cheese.

We'd entered into an arrangement with another web developer at the start of 2019 to launch the website in September 2019. At the start of 2020, we still had no website that was suitable for launch after facing poor communication and delays with the current company.
Our website hadn't been refreshed for many years and was incredibly out of date, offering poor user experience that had broken functionality. The project needed to be turned around quickly, particularly with the pandemic looming and online/digital presence becoming more important than ever.
SOLUTION
How did you select 2buy1click Ltd and what were the deciding factors?
2B1C came with strong recommendations from our new MD who had used their services in the past.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
2B1C had to take over a web project mid-development, facing another company's work, and seamlessly understand where the website was already at and what was needed to get it finished. They picked up the Magento site, checking the add-ons and available versions, getting the core platform to where it needed to be to still be up-to-date.
They helped us understand the minimum product that was deliverable to get us past the line and then continued to work with us to build on the platform after launch, building up to develop the basket functionality and checkout process. Along the way they introduced us to add-ons that would make controlling and updating the website easier for us to do in-house, as with a lot of products on our books, we need to have the ability to update at a seconds notice.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Sanya was our main point of contact for high-level project discussions and deciding goals. There was then two or three web developers working on the site at any time. Masha joined the project about halfway through and it was like she'd always been working on the project; there were no issues at all - couldn't have asked for an easier changeover.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The team worked really hard to understand what we wanted them to deliver, picking up a difficult project, and achieved a successful launch. The ecommerce development is still ongoing.

We had weekly video calls via Zoom with Sanya which sometimes also included key members of the development team when there were specific points to discuss. It was extremely useful having calls at the same time every week as it helped with planning and strategy. 2B1C have their own integrated video call booking system which made it easy to see when team members were available for calls. They also effectively utilize a ticketing system that allows for cross-company insight and annotation into ongoing development work.

I’m the e-commerce and content manager at Lily and Lionel, a British ready-to-wear brand.

What challenge were you trying to address with 2buy1click Ltd?
We had to migrate from Magento 1 to Magento 2. Instead of doing a direct migration, we decided to redesign the website too.

What was the scope of their involvement?
2buy1click Ltd has supported our website day-to-day over the years. For this project, they started off by outlining everything that needed to be done. It was a collaborative process, in which they gave us advice on what we needed to do.
We would then go back with design elements and work collectively to create a new website that not only worked with Magento 2 but also encompassed everything we needed. The team redesigned the aesthetics, added a wishlist, and reconfigured our blog.

I’m directly in contact with five teammates, including their directors and developers.

This project lasted from August 2019–July 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our main goal was to move the website without the conversion rate dropping. It actually increased, which we were happy about. The customer feedback has been very positive, as well as the internal feedback.
How did 2buy1click Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management was brilliant. We had constant communication with them even with everything going on. They had a good ticketing system which meant that we were constantly updated by the project managers. They updated us daily and weekly, and their budgeting was very transparent.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their communication and knowledge were impressive. 2buy1click Ltd was very knowledgeable and gave us good advice.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not that I can think of.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
As long as you’re clear and concise with what you want, 2buy1click Ltd is good at being transparent about what it will take to get you there. Go in with an open mind and good ideas, and the team will only help to develop them further and give you all the knowledge and competence you’ll need to get them done.

To summarise, we hired 2buy1click during peak season in 2018 to repair our failing Magento 2 website, migrate to a more capable server and to optimise the front end for better user experience. The actual project was multi-faceted, and included an equal amount of back end work (for improved stability, and to undo poor coding on the part of our previous agency) as well as front end work, checkout problems, and fixing various bugs.
What were your goals for this project?
Ultimately, to improve customer experience and convert more traffic.

How did you select this vendor?
2buy1click reached out to us, and upon reviewing their practices and learning that they are a technically gifted company with a development/coding slant, it was clear that they had the expertise to address all of the technical problems we were facing at the time.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
We (Lil Packaging) migrated our failing Magento 2 website over to 2buy1click back in November of 2018, this was after making the decision to leave our previous agency who weren't performing up to standard. Within the 2 week on-boarding phase their talented team assisted in not only seamlessly migrating the website to a much more capable server, but they also managed to fix all major bugs, and improve stability.
I had been working closely with them for several months and I am happy to report that their level of service, responsiveness to bug fixes (albeit then very minor and few and far between) and their knowledge of Magento continued to impress. Their policies on core updates and extensions, maintaining a well managed development site for testing, and working on and pushing changes to production outside of peak hours, have ensured that our customers receive a consistent service with zero down time.

I was regularly in contact with 4 developers, and the owner himself would reach out on a monthly basis to check in with me to see how things were going.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Significant reduction in customer complaints. Increased up time. Rapid improvement &implementation on mission critical front end work. changes made significantly improved data quality across product feeds and custom integration into our ERP
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We had a monthly support package retainer which had a very easy to follow and transparent pricing structure, and projects were graded by urgency. Advice was given at all times and projects were always delivered on time. Tiered support, very transparent and easy to understand. Priority levels were easy to follow. Support was prompt. Excellent levels of communication/guidance given
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The depth of their knowledge and their willingness to discuss the inner workings of a given project set them apart. Transparency in pricing, itemisation of hours spent and the project management platforms they use are incredibly easy to navigation and understand.
They gave sound advice on extensions and magento best practices. Friendly and approachable, they also offer a level of responsiveness to projects / support that I have never experienced from an agency of this level before.
Strict policies on downtime/security updates. They were always 100% focused on minimising downtime for our customers (which was in contrast to our previous agency) . Excellent value for money
Are there any areas for improvement?
None with regards to Magento, I strongly believe that they are hands down the best Magento agency out there (we reviewed several in depth before deciding who to work with, after the issues we had with our previous 'award winning' agency we did our due diligence).

We had started building a Magento 2 website but ran into difficulties with our vendor at the time. We hired 2buy1click Ltd to take over the project.

What was the scope of their involvement?
2buy1click Ltd started by debugging the site work done so far. Once they fixed all the bugs, we moved on to new features and development.
Their team also manages our organic SEO efforts and got us started in email marketing. They launched 1–2 campaigns on our behalf in MailChimp and then handed over the efforts to us.

We’ve worked with eight people.
How did you come to work with 2buy1click Ltd?
We wanted to find a new server supplier that would be a better fit for us. Our previous vendor that was hosting our site seemed to struggle with Magento 2, so we were looking for a new hosting company that specialized in Magento 2. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our two key goals were to double our turnover in profitability and gross sales and to reduce our page load time. We’ve achieved both.
Some projects were bigger or more complex than we anticipated, taking us by surprise. Both 2buy1click Ltd and our side were breaking new ground. We encountered several instances where they’d never seen a particular problem or tried a specific solution. Overall, though, we’ve been happy with their work.
How did 2buy1click Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?
The team is very efficient. We communicate through a bespoke piece of project management software made by 2buy1click Ltd. It sends us an email every time we receive a new task or comment. We also have a video conference call every two weeks.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The ability of their PHP programmers stands out to us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything. 2buy1click Ltd is very good at what they do. If we ever think they could improve a part of their workflow to communicate faster or more efficiently, they’ll make changes if we ask. I’d like their work to cost less, but this is the price you pay for good service.
Any advice for potential customers?
I gave this idea to someone who was thinking about working with 2buy1click Ltd: if you’re worried about changing developers, give their team a try. Let them prove for themselves how good they are at what they do.

This supplier was introduced to us by a consultant we were already using and very quickly we realised they were a forward thinking company that had all the skills we needed to develop and take our ideas forward

They identified what we needed and selected an IT platform that would be able to cope with our demands. It wasn't an out of the box system we needed so they designed and developed the programme, constantly being bombarded by us with different new ideas and problems to solve to ensure the webshop looked and worked the way we needed it to. They took our existing webshop and brought it in to the 21st century with new features including tiered pricing, one main shop broken down in to many smaller shops and delivery to different locations.

We have dealt with this company for many years but the team composition has always been flawless. We have a main team leader but behind him is a team that excel in different fields. We dont need to worry ourselves about who to contact as via one email address we propose our project and they then allocate it to the person that can best answer and work through the question.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We have had a relationship with them for many, many years now and we feel that they have grown as a company along side us, helping us to be constantly one step ahead of the competition. Our online business has more than doubled with their help and they even developed technology that allowed us to take our business outside of our premises in order to sell to parents within the school premises. They have also developed a stock system that three years ago didn't even seem possible and now allows us to control and report on our stock at the touch of a button.

During new projects we would hold an initial meeting and set down deadlines and who by, all of these were complied with and very often improved on. They introduced us to Google docs to allow us to keep a track of our monthly budget, set up online training so that we were able to follow simple steps to allow us to carry out alot of the work ourselves in house. They also set up zoom which meant we were able to have three way online meetings which meant everyone didnt have to be in the same room at the same time to move projects on.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
As we all know with technology its great when it works but when it goes down it can bring the company to its news. 2buy1click always know before us if there is a problem and are already working on solving it. August is our busiest time in the lead up to back to school so it is imperative that any problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently when a problem occurs and this is certainly always the case.
