I am the manager of a hunting preserve. We accommodate clients and serve as guide for their hunting.

For what projects/services did your company hire 137, and what were your goals?

Our old website was created over a decade ago and we were having problems with clients not being able to view it on mobile and having to allow flash player, which some people do not bother to do. We hired 137 to create a renewed, responsive informational website.

We chose them based on design skills.

We started by discussing the changes that need to be made and what we needed the website to convey. Next we gradually talked over ideas for the website structure and design. Once that was settled, the team came to take photos of the woods and villa. Finally, they coded the website on Next and deployed it on Vercel. There were no iterations.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Our main contact was the owner and frontend developer, and we worked with the photographer as well.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the website I can say that we are ahead of the competition in terms of online presence.

They had no preferences on the communication channel, whatever worked best for us. They were eager to test ideas and receive feedback on the design details, so their project management style was to talk of the important things and figure out the simple things on their own.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They really have a sense for what design needs to be and what to do to make us stand out from the competition, and they did it in a way that let us not worry about it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of.
