I’m the founder and design director of Tsang Seymour LLC, a creative design firm.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with 03 Design?

We needed someone to provide us with video production services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

03 Design did complete video production for one of our clients. They incorporated three moving cameras to document the entire event, and the deliverable was an edited video I can use for promotional purposes.

The video is now part of my current portfolio, with different cut-down versions of it posted on social media.

What is the team composition?

We mainly worked with Rick (Founder) and three of his crew members.

How did you come to work with 03 Design?

03 Design was recommended to me.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested about $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April 2013–April 2014.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

For general feedback, I was very impressed with their ability to capture the essence of the event and our design. They were able to shoot a lot of footage and create a concise 30-second video.

The client was so happy with the event that they hired us again the following year, and we attribute that largely to 03 Design’s production services.

How did 03 Design perform from a project management standpoint?

I was very satisfied with their project management. They were always on time and I didn’t need to manage them as much because they ultimately understood our goals.

They were under a lot of pressure from my clients, but they did a great job overall.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What set them apart was their ability to improve upon my ideas.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they need to change.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise you to give them the creative freedom to produce the outcome you’re looking for.

I only gave them a brief rundown of what I wanted, and they were able to deliver a more fleshed-out idea of what I was expecting.
