Recommendations:

Make sure to get substantial training on the front end. Anticipate taking longer than necessary to enter and approve work time and leave time for salaried employees.

Experience:

The switch was made to integrate multiple departments together under a unified payroll system. Need it for leave and PTO approvals and reports. It is too time consuming and confusing. It hasn't really benefited me, as the previous system was easier and less time consuming.

Pros:

I do like that you can mass approve all of the employees work time, and that as a supervisor, you can relatively quickly get to the point where you can view and make changes to hours worked.

Cons:

I don't think it's terrific. It's unnecessarily complex, particular features are geared toward hourly employees when our employees are salaried. Taking and approving leave is difficult. Entering partial days of leave could be better optimized, and the entire program is overly "busy" in the way it looks and functions. It could be a much simpler format.

Recommendations:

It's expensive and can be overkill for smaller companies; be sure you really need it and all the features before paying so much for it.

Experience:

It was recommended by colleagues. We use them for time & attendance, benefits. It's been good, a few glitches occasionally. Difficult for new employees to learn.

Pros:

Enterprise system, all-in-one. There are fewer systems to maintain and learn.

Cons:

It's complicated - not a user-friendly interface.

Recommendations:

I would say that it will consistently perform like you would hope your payroll system would.

Experience:

It seemed to match perfectly with our needs, but it can be time consuming trying to fix human error/glitches. Good for time tracking. For the most part, it has performed exceptionally well. I've benefited from its consistency.

Pros:

Its fairly easy to use/there is great technical support when needed.

Cons:

Fixing mistakes can be time consuming. I also would like a more streamlined data entry for certain aspects.
